Each step on her journey is linked... this is the beginning

Setting the Scene: The girl moves onwards, in one more day the full moon will shine and even now she can feel the changes beginning. Her blood races, boils and yearns for what she will deny it, the potion drowning the beast. Trying to submerge what cannot be contained. The creature will find a way out, the demon has begun already to make itself known. The girl who laughed, who cried who loved her friends and stood by them unconditionally has pushed all of them away. Each time she hurt one of them, it was reflected back on herself until the mirror cracked. How can there be beauty outside when there is none within? Each fragment of the girl splintered like broken glass, too damaged to repair. There had been a boy but he is now long gone, a glimpse at love had been shown to her like a flash card before it was quickly snatched away. Who to trust? No-one. Who to care for? No-one. There was only herself left and empty vessels do not matter...

The sounds of her friends laughing and teasing, calling to her as if nothing had happened between them. Nothing at all. Andromeda wanted to turn to hear the joke, to see their laughing faces but the howling would not stop. So instead she continued to follow it, the song lulling her into a false sense of security but it sounded so nice. So utterly beautiful in its ferociousness.
"Andy" she heard her name and for the briefest of moments she halted her foot on the ground. This voice she had heard before, it made her calm. Kept her from falling apart but when she recognised the voice as Crispin's her hands blocked her ears. It did not matter that the voice was merely in her head, she could not let him near the beast she truly was. He knew of course from reading her journal but he did not know what she was capable of, had not seen the destruction she could command. So she ran, pale limbs racing downwards always downwards.

Her Sleep Walking Continues...

Cecily glanced around furtively as she made her rounds. Nearly done and then she could pop off to see Prodan to watch a movie. It wouldn't be a lot of time together but any was precious to them both. Thoughts filled with popcorn and snuggling on the couch while camp counselors were chased by a machete wielding psycho, she nearly didn't see the red haired girl until she was almost upon her.

Cecily began to call out to Andromeda until she noticed the odd way the girl was walking and her unfocused eyes. Following a bit behind her, making sure she didn't hurt herself or fall down, she bit her lip. Growing up, Cecily's grandmother had slept walked. They'd been cautioned by her doctor to never try to wake her, as it could do more harm than good. They were to let it run its course, lock the doors and keep watch she didn't hurt herself.

She hadn't known any of her students did this but common sense should have told her that with such a large student body, of course some would or could. So Cecily followed her, her wand at the ready to help should Andy need it. For a spare moment she thought wistfully of her stolen time with Prodan but knew there would be no movie that night. She would owl him, she sighed, then put it from her mind. Hopefully it would end soon and she could get the girl safely back to her bed.

Kiera had followed Andromeda down from the seventh floor to the fourth floor. She had been having really odd looks on her face and for the first time ever, Kiera wished she had her mother's skills of legimency. That way she could see what was going on in the younger girl's head. It wasn't concern that made her have these thoughts right now though, it was the thought that Kiera could use them against the girl. Kiera really hated Andy right now after all the insults she had thrown.

Kiera had been holding her wand up, pointed at the girl. It would appear to anyone else, that the Head Girl was concerned with helping Andy. That was not exactly true but Kiera needed an alibi for why she would be out of the Gryffindor common room this late at night. Even the Head Girl would get in trouble for wandering around at night.

As Kiera rounded the fourth floor corridor, behind Andy, she saw Professor Rambolt. It startled Kiera to see the Headmistress so suddenly. Kiera put a finger up to her mouth to signal quietness. Andy couldn't be woken up. Kiera nodded to Professor Rambolt but continued to follow Andy. It seemed the Headmistress was going to follow as well. All the same, the younger girl should still get in trouble.
