September 2036, Brightstone Weekend
Heath Erik James breathed took in the fresh air happily. It was so nice to be out of the castle, and it was even better to be away from fellow prefects and Ai. He missed his ex dearly, but it was impossible for them to get back together. They had grown up. He had even cut his precious hair! It was still irritating, but it was only because he could no longer play with it as he could when it had some length. With his hands stuffed firmly in his pockets, Heath began to walk the strip that was Brightstone. He could not withhold a sigh. He was just so empty. He put up this happy face with the younger years, so they could have a better experience at Hogwarts than he had or was having. He hated this place, and the only reason he was not dropping out was because of his older sister. She would not allow a dropout in her home. Luvesha was firm believer in education and finishing things that have been started. She could care less about his emotional or spiritual state of mind. She wanted him to have a chance in whatever world he decided to live in. Heath was good at fixing things, and he knew that he could do something with that. Hogwarts had nothing to offer him. He felt as if he had wasted seven years of his life. He regretted ever listening to Epiphany and giving magic a chance. She had not even stayed by him to help him figure out what was so great about it. The prefect felt robbed, humiliated, and rejected. Magic was not for him, and it took him to long to realize it. Now, he was going to be a nowhere near useful to anyone in the magical community.
Heath made sure to look at the ground. He did not want to catch eyes with anyone. He had found, recently, that his gaze had been lingering for much too long on people, male and female. It was because he was seeking companionship, but he was afraid of being ignored and a waste of time. His ex never meant to ignore him, but it had happened, and he let it go on for far too long. After a belated goodbye kiss, the two officially parted ways. He sauntered down the busy strip of land. He was walking aimlessly. He had nowhere to go. There were times when he wanted to walk and keeping walking without being interrupted. This proved to be unlikely to ever happen because someone bumped into him. He heard things fall to the ground. All he could do was sigh and emit something that sounded like a irritated growl from his lips. Being the lovely Hufflepuff he was, he bent down to assist the person in picking up their fallen objects. Heath did not do so with a happy face. It was more like a sour scowl.
