Vivienne sat on the window sill in her dorm, staring down towards the lake. She noticed all the people swimming, and just relaxing in the spring air. They were having the time of their lives. Vivienne decided that it was all too inviting, and that she had to take advantage of the great weather. She quickly got dressed, and grabbed her broom. Sliding the creaky window open, she carefully clambered out onto the ledge, trying not to look down. Just as she mounted, Vivienne made the mistake of glancing at her feet. Looking down, she realised how high she was, and lost her balance.
Laughing, she straightened the broom, flying in numerous patterns towards the lake. As the wind rushed past her, Vivienne took in the sights and smells around her. The spring flowers had come into bloom, and below her they were a magnificent array of colour. Reaching the lake, Vivienne leant to left, letting her hand quickly dip into the water. She did several spirals, before continuing to fly upside down, just a few inches over the lake. Her chocolate hair trailed in the cool, blue water. As she pulled up again, she flew high over the lake, wringing her now wet hair with one free hand.
