Nixon had already received two roses that day, and gushed about it to a few other Hufflepuffs in the common room. He felt like that was more than enough messing around for the morning, and quickly headed through the castle to begin delivering the roses assigned to him. The first person on his list was Hudson Worth, a boy Nixon knew by face from classes. Though he did not know much more about the Ravenclaw he was sure he could spot the boy in a crowd, and was pleased when he did see a mess of curly brown hair on the first floor. "Hudson! Hey!" Nixon called out, speeding his pace to a jog and halting to a stop in front of the boy. "Got a Rose for you." He then said proudly, waiting for Hudson to react.

Hudson stopped in his tracks and turned hearing someone calling out to him. It was a boy in his year but not one he talked too very often. The boy kind of turned Hudson off whenever they were in the same room. He thought it was okay to be friendly but something about Nixon just seemed too weird for even Hudson to want to be around. The boy was running at him and it almost felt like being chased, though there was a smile attached on the Hufflepuff's face that would make one think otherwise. "Yeah?" He questioned the boy not really thinking he'd get a rose this year. He sent one to Alexis and though there was a mix of roses in the bucket Hudson knew what the colors meant and he hoped slightly a pink one from a certain older student would be in there for him. But he hadn't even been brave enough to send his crush a rose, he couldn't really imagine his crush sending him a rose as well. He hoped to talk to the older boy again soon however, it had been nice their first meeting. He wanted to get to know the guy more, which those thoughts brought him back the present and seeing Nixon standing in front of him made him almost change his mind thinking he could have a crush on a guy.

Nixon was glad Hudson turned around when he halted to a stop. It certainly made it easier for him since he did not want to run around more than he needed to in order to give out all the roses in his basket. Nixon pulled out the yellow rose with Hudson's name on it, and handed it over, smiling wide. "Here ya go!" He exclaimed.
To Hudson Worth said:
Hudson,
Yellow and blue is not a bad combination for a friend like you.
Happy Valentines Day!
Your friend, Alexis

Hudson shifted on his feet waiting for his rose. He took it without saying anything and read the note. A smile popped up on his face for a moment before fading once again. Alexis was a nice girl and he was glad he hung out with her before. He didn't say or do anything else afterwards just hold his rose and look back up at Nixon wondering if there was anything more Nixon had to say, though he didn't really care to hear.
