Sam walked out of the Potions classroom alone. He had a huge amount of homework to be done for this class. Knowing how packed the common room was he decided against going up there and he didn't feel like going up to the library. So he decided to stay here...in the dungeons. He wanted to find somewhere where he wouldn't be disturbed, at least hoped he wouldn't be disturbed.

At the steps leading back up in the entrance hall Sam took a quick turn down a small corridor. Coming to a fews stairs Sam walked down them going deeper into the dungeons. Light began to fade so Sam stopped where he was. He sat down at the bottom of the stairs leaning up against the cold stone wall. He pulled out his wand and said "Lumos" clearly. From the ring of light Sam could see that where he was looked exactly like any other part of the dungeons except much darker. Placing his wand at an angle that he could read and write at he pulled out his equipment: Parchment, quill and his small jar of black ink. Sam began to write his essay in the utter silence of the deep dungeons.
