Waking up to a morning where she knew exactly what she would do that day, Laura got up and got dressed. She knew that her mind was in the right state to get a good amount of studying and making the decision to go to the Library that day seemed like the right one. As Laura left her dorm room in a hasty fashion, she felt a sense of wonder cross her. Studying was the only thing she wanted to do that day, talking to anybody she knew felt so distant that even she couldn't care about it anymore. A social life was just as important to her as any teenager, Laura just thought that study was more important and since good education is the key to a good future, Laura's social life just didn't seem as perfect as studying seemed. As she started walking, Laura noticed all of the other students talking with their friends. She didn't feel lonely or jealous as she might have before, she just felt a sense of remorse for those students. They weren't going to have anything close to the amazing day that she would that day, she was making her future better and that's what was most important.
When she arrived at the almost empty Library, Laura paused for a quick moment to gather her thoughts. She was going to study and she would. Nothing else was worth her time, she wouldn't let anything that wasn't important distract her. She needed to focus her mind on school and that was it. In doing this, Laura needed a place to study that was quiet but not confined. She took a quick look around and found the most perfect place. It was next to a window, Laura knew that if she was seated next to a window, she wouldn't be able to feel confined at all. Laura felt a self satisfied smile appear on her face as she walked to the table. She just needed to find a book to read now. Laura browsed the book shelf in front of the table and found a book on potions. This will do for now. Laura thought as she took the book from the shelf. When she sat down and started to read, Laura was glad there weren't many people around and that she could finally study in peace.
