Lucy was skipping down Brightstone happily. School was finally out which ment she could meet kids her own age. Sure the little 1st years were cute, but she really wanted to meet someone her own age. Lucy started singing to her self, something she only did when she was happy "Quelle adresse de l'animal favori Est le plus bien à Paris ? Quel animal favori possède Le pedigree le plus
long ? Quels animaux favoris obtiennent pour dormir Sur les tapis de velours ? Naturalment ! L'aristocats !" Unlike girls her own age Lucy never sang songs you heard on the radieo, it was always childrens songs, they were the most fun to sing after all.

Patricia had just left The Brightstone General Store for the day. She was glad to be finished, it was a lovely day out and she hadn't had a free moment to herself, it seemed, since the end of year feast.

Making her way into the main part of the Village, planning to get some shopping done for third year Patricia heard singing. She listened to the song, it was one she hadn't heard in sometime. She made her over to where the noise was coming from. She saw a girl, around the same age as her, maybe a bit older. She tried to follow the song, it was a long time since she heard it, let alone in french.

When she heard the girl finish one chorus she interupped, "Quels animaux favoris sont béni Avec les formes et les visages les plus justes ? Quels animaux favoris savent
mieux Toutes les grâces sociales légères ? Quels animaux favoris vivent Sur la crème et les caresses tendres? Naturalment ! L'aristocats." Laughing slightly as she finished it.

Lucy smiled and turned around as someone joined her singing, "bonjour!" Lucy exclaimed, she was happy to see that the girl was around her age "you have a most wonderful voice" Lucy gushed. "Mon nom est lucy, ce que le vôtre ?" Lucy asked the girl.

"Bonjour." Patricia said smiling. She was still laughing slightly, it had been too long since she sang that song. "Thank you. You're very good too." She replied, blushing slightly, she didn't normally sing in public like that, but, Patricia liked spur of the moment things like this.

"Ahh bonjour Lucy. Mon nom est Patricia." She replied, hoping her french was right, another year come and gone and the language club didn't quite hit it off as many would have liked. "So I take it you're French?" Patricia asked, returning to English.

"why yes" Lucy said with her think french accent. "I'm transfuring from Bauxbatons to HNZ as I've heard it been called so many times" she said with a smile, Patricia seemed like a very nice girl and Lucy hoped they could be friends.

Patricia laughed when the girl explained her situation, "Yeah, it's a lot easier than saying Hogwarts New Zealand all the time. And you can't just say Hogwarts as people get it confused with the original branch in Scotland." She told Lucy.

"So Bauxbatons." She started off with a smile. "It sounds lovely, I've heard a lot about it." She continued. "So what year will you be going into?" She asked.

(gah! sorry i keep getting busy)

"Oh yes I loved Bauxbatons, it was so... perfect there" Lucy said with a far off gaze. She was picturing her old dorm and her place in the gardens she loved to read in. She missed Frace terriably, and wished more then anything that her parents would decide that they didn't Like New Zealand and move back, but she knew that was never going to happen, everyone but Lucy loved it in New Zealand. "Oh um sorry, I'll be going into my 4th year" she said with a smile. "what year will you being going into?"

(( Might I intrude? ))

Carlisle had been aimlessly wandering around Brightstone when he heard his home language being spoken. He frowned, it seemed to be his sister. she should really use more English now they were in an English area.. to his surprise however, he heard another girl speaking it. He moved over to the direction of them both. Normally people walked.. but that was abit to... with the crowd for him. At the moment, he was performing back overs. He made it beside his sister and bent back up into a standing position before looking to the new girl and saying in his lilting french accent, "Bonjour.. I'm Carlisle.., Lucy's sister" He gave a slight bow before giving her a smile.

"Carlisle!" Lucy exclaimed before wrapping her arms around his neck "I've missed you, where have you been?" she asked. Knowing full well that it really was her own fault for spending so much time in her room. She let go, "ceci est patricia" she said gesturing towards her new friend.

"I think the question is rather.. Where have you been sister" Carlisle replied while returning the hug. His attention soon turned back to Patricia. "Well very nice to meet you Patricia.. would you happen to go to Hogwarts New Zealand?" He himself had just gotten transferred and his two sisters were waiting. Personally, he wondered if the school was ready for a trio like them. Well, only time would tell.

Lucy frowned "well when I wasn't spending my time with little 11 years olds, I was in my room thinking of France, a place you and our sister seemed to have turned your backs on" she said in a slightly dark voice. To people wh knew her hearing her talk like this would worry them quite alot, Lucy was a pit of happyness, nothing ever got her down, except for this, New Zealand wasn't her home.

Kailey was walking slowly down the busy streets of Brightstone, Switching between watching where she was going and reading a line or two of her newest book. It was a mystery and she couldn't bear to put it down. She just hoped luck would be on her side today as she had to hop over a small dog that she hadn't seen until the last second. As she landed she ran smack dab into a boy a little younger than herself. "Crap! Oh my god, I'm so sorry!" the Ravenclaw quickly exclaimed shoving the book back into her bag. "Are you okay?" she asked blushing at her lack of sight and clumsiness. Unnaturally long legs, clumsiness, and lack of full attention was a dangerous combination. Espically for Kailey and those nearby as shown on several occasions.

(sorry, catch up time -_- )

Patricia listened to Lucy talk about Baubaxtons, it seemed she really loved it, and was going to miss it. "4th year." Patricia repeated, "Cool. I'm going to be a third year myself." She said simply.

Patricia looked up when she saw a boy standing beside Lucy, where did he come from? she thought. When he said he was Lucys brother, Patricia returned the smile. She watched as Lucy and her brother, Carlisle, caught up, feeling slightly out of place as the both talked. She figued she didn't have to introduce herself anymore, but when the moment arrised she said, "Pleasure to meet you too Carlisle. Yes I do, I was just saying to your sister, I'm starting 3rd year in the Fall, Hufflepuff." She said with a hint of pride in her voice. "Are you transferring from Beaubaxtons also?" She asked.

As Patricia waited for an answer she saw something hit into Carlisle. She saw it was an older girl, a prefect if she wasn't mistaken. She looked familiar, but couldn't tell how, probably from just seeing her around the school she thought to herself as she waited for the two to get out of the fluster.

Lucy couldn't help but laugh a little as the girl ran into Carlisle, she began to blush at her rudeness "Oh I'm sorry, I shouldn't have laughed, that was rude" she said to the girl. She turned back to Patricia, "yes, hes transfuring, so is our sister, Hufflepuff sounds like a nice house" Lucy replied with a smile.

Carlisle smiled his odd smile when Pat said she was at Hogwarts. He went to reply if he was transferring when something crashed into him. Carlisle had never tripped or been sent of balance in his life and almost gracefully spun around the object, which turned out to be a girl.. Perhaps just a little bit older then him. He looked her over for a moment before answering easily, "As fine as I will ever be" He paused before adding.. "And you?".

He was about to answer pat again when his sister did. "Well actually.. I just got transferred. Gryffindor" He said with yet another of his odd smiles and a hint of glee in his voice. He knew his sister missed France ever so much but he could not help but love New Zealand.

"Oh thats good, I would have felt horrible if I had hurt someone in my attempt to walk and read at once... I really need to stop that." Kailey said feeling a bit sheepish "Not that it'll help anything." she said more to herself than them with a chuckle, she had always been dreadfully clumsy and probably always would be.

[Sorry for the crappiness but mom just said I have to go ;'( ]
