Basic Appearance:
- Fins hair is a rather ambiguous colour, somewhere between dirty blonde and orange. She colours her hair from time to time, any colour from bright purple to dark green, much to the annoyance of her mother. Her hair is very thin with a slight natural wave. The length of her hair is medium and reaches down just above her shoulders. Fins hair is barely long enough to tie up, so it if mostly left down. Despite her hair being thin, it does get slightly frizzy when the weather is awful or too muggy outside.
Fin is very proud of her hair and doesnt mind when it gets a little wild and crazy, although she would like it better if it was a little bit thicker. Fins skin is quite tanned from hours of being outdoors. Fins eyes are her most remarkable feature. They are startling blue, almost to the point of questioning their natural existence. Her eyes are wide at the center, and towards the tips are narrow.
Fin has a slim, athletic body and long legs. She is of average height for an eleven year old, about 52. She has a minimalist style, and is often seen sporting shorts and a t-shirt. For special occasions Fin may wear a dress, but usually only if forced to. As Fin is not yet used to New Zealand winters, she wears jeans and woollen jumpers (knitted by her nana) as well as boots. Fins favourite type of footwear is jandals, closely followed by converse. Though Fin is living in Australia, she does call the footwear jandals, not thongs as they are known in Australia.
Her teeth are perfectly straight because Fin began wearing braces as early as possible. Fin got her braces removed just before she began attending Hogwarts. Fin is supposed to wear glasses, as she is short-sighted. She usually wears contact lenses because she finds the glasses big and annoying. Fin is not extremely worried about fashion, but she does like to look good. She flatly refuses to wear makeup, with the exception of sunscreen and Chapstick.
Personality:
- If you think about Fin, you will think of several things: sarcastic, bold and outgoing. She is not afraid to speak her mind, though does not know when to stop talking. She is competitive and hates losing.
An enemy of alarm clocks Fin lives on her own schedule and makes rash decisions. She can be a loudmouth, but she is generally friendly. Fins pride (see pigheaded nature) makes it hard for her to admit when she is wrong. This stubbornness contributes to her being confrontational at times. Fin is not a patient person, and if often very blunt. Fin is ruled by her heart, meaning that she ignores all common sense and trusts her instincts. Because of this, Fin often lands herself in trouble.
Although Fin wishes that she could be the bigger person and walk away from conflict, more often than not she will refuse to allow anyone to disrespect her without consequences. Fin is not a bad person, but trouble and conflict always seem to find her. She doesnt care about grades and school, and always goofs off in class.
Fin is the type of person who will wake up at 3am in the morning to raid the kitchens. One of her hobbies is pranking people, though sometimes she takes her pranks too far. She has been expelled from three different schools before she began at Hogwarts. Fin firmly believes that life should never be boring, and she sees to it that something is always happening around her.
She likes to do things for the sake of seeing if she can do them often she fails miserably at her attempts. Fin has had many accidents resulting in broken ribs and she once spent a whole summer with her leg in a cast. Though she wasnt supposed to get her cast wet, Fin still attempted surfing with a broken leg. Fin is reckless to the extreme, and she seems fearless. She had her own fears and phobias but Fin tries not to let them get the better of her.

Growing up in the trailer park was hard for Fin, and she was teased because her family were poor. She spent most of her time down at the beach with Lo, even ditching school to go surfing. Fins dad, James, doesnt give a damn about his daughter and doesnt ever contact her. Fin isnt overly fussed about her dads lack of attention, she prefers it that way.
Julie Harper
Julie used to surf, that was until she wrecked her leg. Julie now walks with a prominent limp but doesnt let it get to her. She is a caring parent, though wishes that her children were more studious. Julie has a good relationship with her children, even the ones that dont live with her. Julie is a nice person and it is almost impossible to dislike her.
Lauren Lo Harper
With a swagger to match Mick Jagger and the personality of a professional party girl, Lo is the role model of Fin. Loud, charismatic and endlessly welcoming; her brash ways have made her many friends, and an equal amount of enemies. Loyal to her friends and foul-mouthed to her rivals, Lo is a vibrant character that puts enjoyment and exhilaration above all else. She was never focused upon schoolwork and as such, something Fin has copied from her sister. Lo wants to be a professional surfer or skateboarder. She hates people who think guys are better surfers than girls.
Kathryn Katie Harper
Katie is a mix of good girl and rebel. She does everything she is told, and likes finding loopholes in instructions. Katie is the kind of person who takes everything literally, just to annoy the heck out of you. She is very intelligent and does well in school without trying. Fin envies Katies natural intelligence, but doesnt let her jealousy get in the way of the good relationship that the sisters share.
Elijah Eli Harper
Eli finds happiness in being that crazy guy dancing on the beach, the dude skipping around in pink pajamas. Hes the attention-seeker and the guy who just doesnt care about what others think. He is Fins crazy little brother, and he and Fin get along well. Fin doesnt get to see Eli much because he lives with her dad.
Emma Em Harper
Em is the hard-worker of the family, and tries hard in everything that she does. Em doesnt do anything by halves and is always cheerful. Her motto is keep trying and she is annoyingly optimistic.

- Two dogs, Ceara and Terra. Both dogs are small, yappy and cute. Fin adores both of her dogs, and both dogs seem to prefer Fin over the rest of her family.
