Taylor was sitting, scrunched up in a ball, in the corner of the owlery. There were tears slowly making their way down her face in the stains that were left from those that had spes down before them. The, normally cheery, girl had a scrunched up piece of paper in her hand, delivered by the owl she had sent to her parents. This was one of the many letters she had recieved, not from the adults, but her brother.

Taylor thought to the pile of them she had hidden in the bottom of her trunk. All of the letters from Benny basically summed up to the same conclusion, she was a freak and he had never wanted her to become part of their family, that he was only being nice to her because he had assumed that his parents would kick her out eventually.

Taylor shook as another set of tears arrived, she had been up here quite a few times like this before pulling herself together and facing her friends looking like nothing bad had ever happened to her. The gryffindor girl put her head in her lap and began sobbing. She was still there at least a quarter of an hour later, sobbing loudly enough she didn't hear the footsteps near her.

Alfie was wandering around the owlery when he heard a noise that sounded like sobbing. He followed the noise to the source. There on the floor was his friend curled up in a ball crying. He walked over and sat down by her side " Taylor what's wrong?" He asked concern filling his voice and a frown creasing his forehead.

He had never seen the normally cheery girl cry before and had forgotten to call her by her nickname. He felt as if he would do almost anything he could to make her happy again.

Taylor jumped at the voice and looked up, the tears stains on her face were even more noticable and, even though she never got puffy eyes when crying, her eyes were red. When she saw it was Alfie, one of the first friends she had made in this world, she leaned into him and passed him the letter. "I didn't do anything.. I don't.. I can't.." She couldn't manage a full sentance and just broke down into another set of sobs on her poor friends shirt.

Alfie put his arm around her small shoulders to comfort her. He took the letter and read it carefully. He couldn't believe what he was reading. How could anyone be so cruel. He didn't understand how this boy could say all those nasty things about such a nice girl. " It's gonna be ok. He doesn't know what he's saying. You are a lovely person, so happy and bubbly and you make everyone smile. He's just a bully, it's gonna be ok." He put his other arm around her to give her a hug.

Taylor couldn't manage a word, she just lant into her friend, her boyfriends cousin, and sobbed. This was meant to be her brother, the boy that would show off for his mates but eventually apologise when they had left, she never expected him to say things like that.

(OOC: Maybe it's time for Jessi to hide and listen?)

Jessi was in the owlery about to send a letter to his parents when he heard familiar voices coming from up the stairs. He climbed up the stairs and stood at the doorway. Being closer to the voices he could now tell that it was his cousin and a crying girl, who he thought was his girlfriend but wasn't sure. He stayed where he was, out of site and listened.

Evantually Taylor calmed down. "Thank you so much Alf." Before she continued, the brunette noticed the wet mark on her mates shirt. "Sorry about your shirt but thanks for being there for me, I really really apprieciate it." She gave him a big bear hug and wiped the remaining tears from her eyes.

Alfie was relieved when she began to calm down. "Don't worry about it." he laughed as Taylor pointed out the tear marks on his shirt." Oh well. If you ever need me you know where I am." Then he returned the hug.

Taylor smiled at him. "I'll take you up on that you know." She laughed and leant aghainst him, slightly tired from her stressed day.

Jessi came out of his hiding place and looked at the to with a look of confusion, anger and hurt when he was sure who the girl was. "What the hell is going on?"
He asked his voice so dangerously quiet it was barely a whisper. His temper was rising and his hands began to tremble in rage. Why was his cousin and his girlfriend sat in the owlery together hugging? He just didn't get it. Why Alfie? It wasn't right. Why? How? No. This couldn't be happening. Could it? Really?

Tayloer looked up as JEssi, her boyfriend, walked out to the open where she was cuddling his cousin. She realised how it must look. "No, Jessi, It ain't. No." She was trying to think of a way to explain it without bringing up the letter, not sure if she wanted him to know about the bullying yet. "He was just cheeering me up, I was upset." The tearstreaks down her faced backed up her story.
