Playing catch-up with his studies was going about as well as Remy had expected, which was to say, terribly. Withdrawing from the magical world during critical educational years didn't generally lead to academic success. He had been spending a lot of time in the library of late, poring over textbooks and trying to fill in the gaps in his knowledge. He'd been able to see a tutor semi-regularly, after much arguing with his family, but Remy wasn't even going to kid himself into thinking he was on the same level as other seventh years. So, hanging out in the library with the books that were currently his best friends was a fairly frequent use of his time.

Groaning to himself as he reached a particularly dense passage on the properties of Runespoor eggs in potionmaking, Remy rubbed at his eyes in the hopes that it would make the words stop swimming around on the page. It didn't help. He could feel himself drooping and wondered if he should take a nap and then give up on magic entirely pivot to a career in crafting lawn ornaments in some rural muggle town instead.

Now that graduation was that close to the line, Georgia realised that she had to work extra hard to achieve everything she ever wanted. However, she preferred to study alone because if she had to explain to everything why was she studying muggle things, it would be just a bit annoying. Not a lot of people realised that well, she didn't really want to build a career in magical world. She didn't wanna leave it behind either but she wanted to work in the muggle world. Of course she could become a great Daily Prophet journalist but where was fun in that when there was such journals as New York Times or The Yomiuri Shimbun? She could cover absolutely everything from crimes to sciences to gossip pages to sports. And she wanted to cover crime just like her dad. In the end, even her dad lived in the muggle world, owned a few of his own newspaper firms that were big enough for them to be in the top society and she has helped him with them her own life. Turning her back on dad and their lifework just wasn't what Georgia was ever planning to do but not to abandon him, she had to do well for herself and she wss planning to get into Harvard or Yale or anything in the Ive League.

Therefore, she was sitting in the library studying extra hard to pass the exams to get to the Harvard winter precourse, then to summer precourse, and also all her volunteering work. But she wasn't deaf, so when she heard someone groan over a book close enough to her, Gee did look up and chuckle. "Extra hard topic?" she offered her sympathy in a joking way, thinking that either the boy could maybe just be overworked or in need of some serious help.
