Angela walked; or stormed is more like it. it was one of those days that was just horrible. She had woken up with horrible stomach pains, and a bad hair day, and she couldn't see Adam down in the dungeons, only because she was afraid. She didn't know what she wanted to do; or who she wanted to see. She didn't realize until she reached the top, that she was so high up. She looked over the railing, and looked right back up. She walked over to the opposite wall and slid down it.

"what's wrong with me?" She didn't ask because of her bad mood, she asked because of everything else. She hadn't been going to classes since the first week of school. At first it was because she just fell behind, then she got lazy and distracted. She didn't understand. And what made it worse was now she was crying. She was so frustrated right now, that it was horrible.

Sandie was bored. She was completely out of ideas for things to do around the castle, on her own. It was coming up for exams, but Sandie had barely been in lessons so far, never mind paying attention in them, so she knew there was no point in studying when she'd no doubt fail them anyway. She would just have to make a fresh start next term.
She couldn't help but feel a little down, so far at Hogwarts she'd made no friends. Was something wrong with her? Did she smell? She was pretty sure she didn't, the only thing anyone could smell off of her was her favorite perfume, and she wore so much of it you could smell her from miles away! She'd spent the first few weeks of school in the Hospital Wing with some strange magical flu. The first few weeks of school was when friends were made, best friends found each other and relationships started, Sandie had fallen behind in all that and since then had pretty much given up. Everyone had there friends and all there own little groups now, what was the point in trying? Perhaps some new transfers would join her year after the summer, then she could be-friend them. She hoped so.
Sandie hadn't even realised she'd been climbing the enchanted stairways until she reached the top of a set of stairs on the very top floor of the castle. A little dazed, she looked around herself, expecting to find the place deserted. Instead she seen a girl, who looked about her age, slumped against one of the walls, crying. "Hello, sorry to intrude, but are you okay?" Sandie asked in her strong northern accent, making her way accross to the girl and crouching down beside her with a friendly, worried smile on her pale face.

Angela tried to stop the tears. But they just wouldn't stop. She felt like such a baby; what type of an eleven year old cries over nothing. Suddenly the voice came, like a whistle in the wind. It was female, and had a slight accent to it. Angela looked up to see a face as pale as hers, with a warm smile on it. She wiped the tears from her aqua-green eyes. "I-i'm fine." She said with a slight stutter.

"I'm Angela." What a great first meeting! What this girl must have thought of the sad sight.
