Personality
Falcon means well, but usually, he attracts trouble. Having had a messy up-bringing, he is a little wild at times, and impulsive. Falcon is generally friendly towards most, and is normally quite popular socially. He is a very loyal friend, and is always around, and up for a good time. Though he is quite social, in a group he is normally quite quiet, as he is more of an observer than an entertainer. However, when he does tell a joke, it is usually unexpectedly funny, as he as a quietly dry sense of humor. He is reasonably intelligent, however he doesn't really apply himself at school. He has attended non-magical schools his entire life, as he has never had any interest in magic.
However, despite being generally friendly, he gets jealous, depressed, and annoyed incredibly easily, and keeps his anger inside, until it all builds up. He gets more and more depressive and quiet, until it all gets too much, and he explodes. When he is like this, it's very difficult to be around him, as he is impatient and frustrating. He is bad at covering up his emotions, and so when he is in one of his moods, those close to him know to avoid him.
Strengths- Loyal, Observant, Funny
Weaknesses- Impulsive, Jealous, Depressive
Likes- Food, being with friends, attention, sleeping
Dislikes- Swimming, flying, being alone, reading
Appearance
Falcon has an English appearance, which he presumes comes from his father, who is unidentified. He has white skin, that burns very easy, and a few freckles. His brown/ginger hair is sort of shaggy, and he has it quite long, as he hates hair cuts. He has grey-blue eyes, that can either be cold or soft looking, depending on his mood. He is of a medium height, about 5'9, and a lanky build, as he hasn't completely grown into his limbs yet.
Falcon generally has a casual style, and doesn't appear to care much about his appearance. However, he does worry about his appearance at times, and is a picky shopper.
History
Falcon was born and raised in middle class Vancouver. Never paid much to as a child, he basically went about his business, and did what he was supposed to do. He became quite comfortable with friends, as they provided a much happier enviroment than his mother ever did, even when she was sober. He was quite a cute and like-able child, quite appealing to his teachers and other adults. His intelligence was recognised, but never really applied himself to school, his favourite subject being Lunch.
Falcon is very good at being himself and getting along with most, and combined with naturally appealing physical appearances, made him subject to many crushes as he past the age of ten. He never showed any interest in the opposite sex, however, apart from being friends. He gained a good group of friends, in the 'Popular' group mostly.
At the age of ten, Falcon's mother Laina died, due to over-intoxication. As they had never been exactly close, Falcon wasn't as rocked by this as most expected him to be. He just went along with the whole process of being placed in foster care. However, due to his accidentally troublesome nature, he was removed from five homes, all of which he was home schooled in magic, before being taken in by his biological aunt Hannah Tipley, his mother's sister. Now that he lives with the Tipley's, he is being sent to Beauxbatons to continue his education.
Family
Laina Rose Thomas- Falcon's alcoholic mother was never really interested or loving of her son, who was the product of a one night stand. She died after drinking into a coma. She was a witch, and appeared to never be interested in magic. She kept her son from attending any school for magic, by raising him to think that magic is un-interesting.
Hannah May Tipley- Falcon's biological aunt. He had only met her when he was a small child, as his mother wasn't very friendly with Hannah. He has now gone to live with the Tipleys, after going through many other foster homes.
Arianna Elizabeth Taylor Tipley- Falcon's cousin. They had never met before Falcon came to live with the Tipleys, and their relationship is quite strained. They may be friends in the future, but currently they are politely distant towards each other.

Falcon walked slowly through the park in the early, just as the sun was beginning to make it's appearance. Hardly anybody else was about, apart from the odd business man or women, hurrying along in their crisp clothes, ready for another day in the office. Nobody noticed the nine year old boy sit down on a bench, overlooking a courtyard. His eyes were on the fountain, that flowed steadily, but he saw through glazed over eyes. His thoughts were back to early that morning, when his mother had come home in a taxi, and stumbled towards the bathroom. He was well used to the process by now, and knew when to get out of the house.
Though his mother had come home drunk as long as he could remember, Falcon knew that it was getting worse. She was out almost every other night, compared to once a week. And sometimes she would come home and collapse on her bed, and couldn't be woken. As a nine year old, Falcon had no idea what to do. By now, he had gotten used to making his own meals, and getting himself up in the morning for school.
School was the only happy thing in his life at the moment. Not because he was a keen academic, far from it. His friends were the only escape from his home life. They were always there, and provided the perfect distraction. Falcon had taken to staying later at school, to sit on the tennis court outside, talking with his friends until he was the last one at school. Then he would slowly make his way home, not looking forward to what he might find.
Falcon mentally shook himself out of his thoughts. He could feel himself slipping into that familiar state, where nothing seemed worth getting up for. He sighed, feeling the depression gripping him. Getting up, he began to walk back in the direction of his house, debating whether to go and see if his mother was alright. Not alright. She would be alright. Just make sure that she hadn't fallen asleep on the bathroom floor. If she had, he would drag her back to her room, as he had many times before.
