Exploring the castle

Elizabeth Wespurt came just out of the Gryffindor common room. Ready for her next adventure as she always was she walked down the stairs. Her brother Riley was busy with other things and Elizabeth had been exploring on her own the last few days. She talked to few people from her house but also others, but she didn't found somebody that could show her the secret hallways or the exciting or beautiful spots around or in the castle. For that she needed somebody who was already one year or maybe more on hogwarts. But maybe they saw Elizabeth as a another annoying first year. She wasn't afraid of older people so she wanted to talk to one one time soon. Maybe she will speak to someone in the common room. But that could wait a little longer. As she was walking through the Seventh floor she found a spot at the window and went sitting on the window bench.

The view from the window was amazing. Elizabeth has not been outside yet, so her next adventure would be outside. She could not wait until the Quidditch games would began, she loved cheering for others and watching the game. Elizabeth thought about home for a second and it slipt into her mind that she needed to write a letter to her parents any time soon. She didn't knew if Riley already did, but she needed to let them know in which house she was sorted and about all of her adventures so far. But at this moment she just looked outside and enjoyed being on Hogwarts, and take a moment to appreciate it.

Leo was ready to explore again, he had hoped to bump into his friend and housemate Daisy but he couldn't find her anywhere. Unfortunately that meant he was going to have to explore by himself today. Sighing, he stepped out of the Gryffindor common room, unsure of where he wanted to go. Deciding it would be best if he just started walking to not waste time, the second year Gryff soon felt excitement coursing through him. This was what he meant to do, not stay inside a small space and study. Nah-uh. His brain wouldn't be able to handle it and he needed to explore as much as possible before he was forced to do that. He was proud of what he managed to discover last year, certain secret passageways and shortcuts that he found useful to use if he wanted to escape people for a little while. It would rather be useful to use them also when he was late for something.

Leo somehow found himself on the seventh floor for a break, he wanted to plan where he hadn't yet explored, so he settled himself against a wall on the floor, his back against the cold stone while he reflected on where else he could go. If he found any more secrets the castle held, he'd definitely tell Daisy, but for now he was satisfied. He looked around when he heard someone sit right next to where he was, on the nearest window ledge and smiled at her, he couldn't recognize her, maybe she was a first year. Leo was always up for talking to new people, though he had to admit he usually talked too much. That never stopped him from trying to be friendly to other people. He knew he wasn't intimidating so hopefully this girl wouldn't be afraid to make conversation with the Gryffindor. Only after a few minutes did he realise she wasn't even looking at him, but outside.

Elizabeth was still looking true the window and couldn't help but smile. She was so happy here, it was like everything was ment to be. Maybe all of her dreams would come true, she had seven years to see what will happen and after that she would visit the world for sure! On one point she waked up or something from her stare and got back to reality. She didn't needed to dream she needed to live it! This was her pause so she could explore further. Elizabeth turned her face back to the hallway and when she stood up and wanted to walk further she saw a boy sitting. She never had saw him again, so she didn't knew if he already was on this school longer or just was sorted just as herself. He sat there by himself and Elizabeth walked at him to say hello. '' Hi there, what are ya doing there?'' and she smiled at him. He looked cute but she thought he was just a bit older then she was. But boys were almost always longer so she didn't knew for sure. '' I'm Elizabeth, I'm new here.'' And she decided to sit next to him on the ground. She could use some company and maybe he wanted to explore with her together. That was more fun than just on her own after all.
