🌹 Rose Giving Entering the Danger Zone

[Naomi Wu-Maxwell]

The eerie feeling in the Dungeons was noticeable on Naomi, she was cautious but she knew she had to do it. It was musty and wet and yet, she has to deliver a rose down here. This semester would be a start up on Potions and the classroom is also located in the Dungeons. Naomi took a deep breath and continued her journey near the Slytherin's Common room door. "Hey! Can you see if a Ivelisse is inside, please?" She asked somebody who was coming inside.

 

[Ivelisse Burleigh]

Ivelisse wasn't sure what she thought about valentines day and the whole rose giving event. She wasn't sure if she enjoyed the chaos that came with it so hadn't signed up to deliver and while sending out her own roses had realized she doesn't exactly have a lot of friends either. Which is exactly why she wasn't expecting a bunch of roses. If she even got one that would be a small victory and she secretely hoped that perhaps Eugene or Charlie had thought of her. When a student entered the common room telling her someone outside was looking for her Ive perked up, casually making her way out of the room and looking around before noticing a girl with a bunch of roses. "Were you looking for Ivelisse?"

 

[Naomi Wu-Maxwell]

The person politely obliged to her request and Naomi waited. It wasn't that long that someone came out. "Yes, ma'am. Would that be you?" She asked, although, she continued. "I have a rose for her." Naomi was cautious. She wanted to make sure that the person in front of her was the receiver of the rose and letter.

 

[Ivelisse Burleigh]

Ivelisse nodded when the girl asked if that was her, feeling like that was an easy connection to make. "Really? Cool." She said casually, hiding the small sense of relief she felt at those words. At least that meant there was someone who had thought about her while sending out roses, which was already better than no one.

 

[Naomi Wu-Maxwell]

"Great! I got a yellow rose and a letter." She dug out the letter first from her notebook and the rose after from her basket. Naomi handed them both to Ivelisse. "Hope this makes your day better." She smiled at her.

Ivelisse shot the girl a smile when she handed her the rose and the letter, still glad she wouldn't have to get through the day without any roses. It also made her realize she really needed to make some more friends, either real or pretend. "Thanks." She nodded as she opened up the note to read it, grinning when it turned out to be exactly from who she had expected it to be. "And happy valentines." Ive added as she looked back up at the girl. The words didn't mean a lot, but it was the friendly thing to say.

Naomi smiled, she made another person happy. "Happy Valentine's Day, too. I better go and deliver the rest. You have a nice one now." The Hufflepuff waved good bye at the girl and went on her way up.
