Markus Vanderburg II, a muggle born journalist for the Daily Prophet, met Rosa Chrine during their time in Durmstrang Wizarding Acadamy, were they established a close friendship, but never a relationship. It wasn't until two years after their graduation when they met for coffee that they found their feelings for each other. By this time Rosa was a successful shop keeper in Moscow, Germany.
Rosa Chrine was of a Half Blood mother and Pure Blood father, who both died the week Markus and Rosa met. The Chrine's were murdered by Death Eaters, and Markus was doing a paper on it for the Prophet, and wanted to get some direct quotes and console his friend at the same time.
Three years went by, and the young couple were very much enamoured with each other, when Markus asked Rosa to be his wife. She accepted, and in the year of 2005 they were wed. Markus and Rosa wanted a family very badly, Markus a boy more then anything, and Rosa a girl. So they began trying to have children, it wasn't until 2009 that they were able to see such a thing come together.
He was a little baby boy by the name of Markus Vanderburg III. The fair haired child was so loved by his family, but only communicated when he needed to. Markus III showed clear signs of having an anti-social disorder, but it wasn't until June 4[sup]th[/sup], 2011 that he started moving through this.
The change made: Adele Isolde Vanderburg was born. She was a bouncing bundle of joy to both Markus and Rosa, and she took a liking to her older brother from first meeting. Adele was already a dreamer, and her father took a liking to this, while Rosa, a worrier was concerned that she would have her head in the clouds throughout her whole life and would not amount to anything.
These beliefs and worries did not prepare Rosa or Markus for November 21[sup]st[/sup], 2011, when they were driving with their son to take him to his Grandfather's which was only two blocks away, when a muggle crashed their car into Rosa and Markus'. Immediately the toddler started screaming rappidly, his parent's were not moving. Rosa Vanderburg and Markus Vanderburg II were found dead fifteen minutes later, and Markus Vanderburg III was taken by the police, to the hospital to fix any injuries that could have occured and then to a near-by orphanage. While Adele Vanderburg was left crying at home, being taken care of a house elf.
Days later the house elf left, just in time for realters to come into the home of the deseased Vanderburg's to find a crying baby. Not knowing what else to do, the couple, that also happened to be wizards, sent the girl to an orphanage in their home town of Edinburg, Scotland, under no name.
Two months passed until Arthur and Elizabeth Meminger went to the orphanage to see if they could adopt a child. They had gotten lucky with their first daughter, who had been eleven at this time, and were told by doctors to not keep their hopes high. So, they adopted the bouncing little girl, that looked nothing like their red headed, Scottish selves and renamed her Emily Katerina Meminger.
Emily thrived with the Meminger's and it wasn't long until her older, adoptive, sister, Shannon warmed up to the baby. As she became a toddler, it was clear to the Meminger's that she could relate to music. She seemed so content when listening to a good piece of work, and so Arthur and Elizabeth bought a piano. Immediately, she was drawn to the contrasting shades and keys, so her parents enrolled her in lessons.
When Emma was five years old, Elizabeth discovered that she was pregnant, and nine months later, little baby Liesel Sandra Meminger was born. Which was exactly when Elizabeth quit her job, to become a stay at home mother for her three children, that she loved deeply.
Three years later, Emily had an interview with an Art's and Theology school, so she could attend for the music program as well as the Theology program. By this time she was eight years old, and had written three songs of her very own. She was accepted, and in that September, Arthur and Elizabeth told their children that they would have one more child.
Liesel was not happy about having a younger child then herself, as she was three years old and didn't understand that she would still have the attention of both of her parents. Emma and Shannon, unlike Liesel were exatic for their parents. The next May 2[sup]nd[/sup] Sean Thomas Meminger was born, and warmed up to Emily immediately.
In 2020 Emma was told that she was adopted, she felt extremely secluded and upset that she was lied to for all of her life. But months passed and she got over it.
