A surprisingly cuddly cat for a British shorthair. Ember bought this kitten at a shop in the harbour and fell in love right away. Butterscotch loves to sit on Ember's lap in the Gryffindor common room and sleep on the pillow on Ember's bed.

A hyper happy puffskein that Ember bought when coming to school. Blinky is more than happy to just sit on Ember's shoulders all day. Though Blinky is quite afraid of Ember's kitten Butterscotch.

Explain: Ember loves to sneak onto the barge rides with all the tourists.
She gets a thrill of the adventure of sneaking on as well as loves the
experience of learning new things about the people visiting London.
Not only this, but Ember loves the wildlife and natural beauty of Thames
and the surrounding areas. She could spend hours riding the barge
and lying in the nearby grassy areas.
Current Location: New Zealand
Explain: Ember got accepted to Hogwarts New Zealand when her parents moved
there for her father's new job. Her father was transferred and as always when her
father is transferred the whole family tags along. This is not a new thing for Ember
moves around quite a bit. A new adventure arises with each new move. Due to the
constant moving, Ember has learned to adapt well, but she hopes that
New Zealand will be her home until she graduates.

It was finally time, as the young pig-tailed girl bounced with excitement. This was going to be her home for the next seven years. Seven years was a long time to stay in one place. Briefly Ember wondered if she would get bored staying at one place so long, but the young girl pushed the thought out of her mind as the Great Hall doors opened. "Amazing" The young girl said. Her words were lost in the mist of other students gasping and pointing at their surroundings.

The room went silent, however, as a professor began her speech and the hat began his song. Ember hummed along to the sorting hat's words even though she was off plenty of times (not know the song at all). Finally the names were beginning to be called. Starting in alphabetically order. Ziarre. Why on earth is my last name Ziarre She thought turning to the boy next to her who she hadn't met yet. "Don't you think it should go in reverse alphabetically order. Starting with Z" she said smiling and turning back to the mixture of students being sorted.

Students after students were put into their houses while Ember waited rather impatiently. She was not the most patient little girl in the world. It seemed like eternity before it was here turn. Yet when it was she forgot all about how long she had to wait and almost ran up to the sorting hat, sitting on the stool provided. The hat was immediately placed on her head and she giggled. So much for never sharing hats She thought thinking of all the times that her mother had warned her not to share hats. You never know where that person's head has been. She would say. Ember would always reply a little smartly with on their shoulders. With that she was always sent out to play outside. Yet this was not the time and place for that memory.

So Mr. Sorting Hat. She thought pausing as she realized she didn't quite know what to say. I would like to be sorted into a house. Any house. Papa wants Ravenclaw. Mum wants Gryffindor. I'm good with either or any I guess. I'm not really sure. As long as where I live is cool. Like outside or at the bottom of the lake or in a huge tower or maybe in the dark basements that I need a flashlight to get around with Ember thought her excitement growing. Thoughts of different houses and common rooms in different areas and all the places she would visit and all the things she would do rushed into her head. Hopefully it was not too many thoughts for such an old sorting hat.

"Can't keep a secret, hmmm? Well, that'll cause you far more trouble than it's worth if you sneak about as much as you might be inclined to. We'll see how it works out for you, then. GRYFFINDOR!"

LIFE BEFORE HNZ:
Ember was born in Reading, England, United Kingdom. She was a curious baby by nature and this curiosity was only encouraged by her mother and father. Ember's mother, Diana, is a strong and independent woman. She is mixed blood and loves to study both muggle and wizard studies. Diana is strong willed and likes to instill such values onto her children. Diana works in a muggle law firm as an attorney of the law making quite a bit of money to help support her family. The law firm that Diana is stationed at is rather large and is found all over the world. This makes it easier for her to transfer when Ember's father has to move to a new location for his job. Ember's father, Aiden, is a sales associate for a large company. Due to his position in the company it is necessary for him to travel to the branches of the company all around the world, making sure everything is up and running properly. Because of these job positions the whole Ziarre family had to move around quite a bit growing up. Ember seemed to have to deal with it the most since she is the eldest child. Ember has three siblings, two sisters and one brother. Taren is the only son of the family. He is the next older after Ember. He is only 9 years old. Cascata is the next oldest. She is 7 years old. Aira is the youngest of the family at age 5. Taren, Aira, and Ember all get along, but Cascata seems to get into arguments with the rest of her siblings. At age eleven right before HNZ, Ember and her family moved to New Zealand on another one of their adventures. She has been trying to fit in for a few months, but knows that she won't really socialize until she starts school in September.

Mother:
Diana- strong and independent. She is mixed blood and loves to study both muggle and wizard studies. Diana is strong willed and likes to instill such values onto her children. Diana works in a muggle law firm as an attorney of the law.

Father:
Aiden- sales associate for a large company. Due to his position in the company it is necessary for him to travel to the branches of the company all around the world, making sure everything is up and running properly. He is a muggleborn wizard and is the easy going parent. Aiden works more hours than is necessary, but when he is home he loves to spend time with the children.

Brother:

Taren- 9 years old. Taren is a typical nine year old boy that loves sports and being outside. Ember and Taren are extremely close.

Sisters:

Cascata- 7 years old. The only sibling that seems to get into arguments with the rest of the siblings. Cascata is very opinionated and stubborn. She thinks she is the best at everything and anything as well as being very competitive. The combination of these personality features makes a very dangerous mix.

Aira-5 years old. The youngest of the family and possibly the most spoiled. Aira, however, is adorable and looks up to Ember quite a bit. She loves to follows both Ember and Taren on their adventures.
