The Basics
Character's Name: Ekarin LXVII, or Ekky.
Character's Birthdate: Probably in the 1830s sometime.
Area of Origin: Unknown. He was brought to NZ by his master as a baby house elf, newly acquired for his trip to the colony. He was the first wizard to immigrate to NZ from England, back in the 1840s, although once here, he discovered the indigenous Maori had their own Magic. Spent most of his life in Northland. Last 80 years have been spent travelling throughout the country. Recently joined the team of hardworking house-elves at Hogwarts.

Appearance
Hair: When he doesn't "shave," a soft, sandy-coloured fur sprouts over his whole body. However, he prefers to magically remove the hair most of the time, as it gets in the way and can be unhygienic.
Eyes: Large, bulbous. Clear bright whites and deep liquid pupils separated by a thin, pale translucent iris of the lightest blue.
Height: 2'4" (71cm)
Other Distinguishing Features: His large ears are furry from old age. He is very spindly but has a pot belly, and he is hunched over, making him seem even shorter than he is. His elbows are very pointy. See character development for more information. I'm working on some art for a signature.
A Little Deeper
Personality: Ekky mostly lives for the moment. Whatever seems like the best idea at the time, he will go for. He loves to make friends, he loves to have fun. Making his friends laugh is like heaven for him. He considers anyone he meets to be a master and friend and will trust them to the ends of the earth or do whatever they say, even if it means going against the wishes of another master. He'll just punish himself for it.
History: Ekky was never particularly good at carrying out his masters' orders, but was always forgiven because of his ability to make them laugh.
Family: The only family Ekky ever had was his master's family, the Straydes. They were pure-blood wizards, with Jonathan Strayde being the first wizard to immigrate to NZ. The last of the line died out in 1954 due to the family's unwillingness to taint their pure magical blood.
