Fenton was convinced at this point that he was bordering on stalker like obsession for Andromeda. If he didn't find a means to get over the girl he would end up doing something really stupid. He hadn't written to Aries or Harrison to explain his predicament because he was almost certain that they would laugh at him and that he couldn't handle right now. He had learnt how to apparate earlier in the year and as soon as his school had their regular weekend break, he strolled to the village like everyone else but apparated as soon as was possible. No one would be any the wiser surely, trace or not the professors from his school had better things to deal with and would most likely commend his inventiveness for sneaking out of their care.

He strolled down Brightstone, disgusted with himself now. She wasn't going to be here, it simply wasn't a Hogwarts weekend was it? Kicking himself for being so pathetic Fenton turned on his heel and began to retrace his steps, his head hung low as his hands were firmly stuffed inside his pockets. This girl would be the death of him at this rate.

Trista walked down the nearly empty streets of Brightstone village on that early Saturday morning, shivering in the winter air seeing as she was accustomed to a French Summer. Each dorm room was connected to the floo network which for a school was a major design flaw. But she took advantage of it and flooed to the three broomsticks. Unfortunately when she walked outside she realized she had stumbled into New Zealand rather than England. She wondered for a moment if Kailey had the weekend off. Seeing as the streets were nearly empty Trista guessed not. Trista had gotten sidetracked looking at a window display and walked right into someone. "Oh, Sorry!" she exclaimed quickly, blushing at her own lack of observancy.

Fenton grabbed the arms of the girl who had walked into him or had he walked into her? He really hadn't been paying attention either.
"Dont' be sorry, my fault as much as anyones" he told her, smiling as he released his grip and let his hands shift back into his pockets again. The girl was downright attractive and this thought alone gave Fenton hope that he wasn't completely hung up on Andromeda, how could he be if in a split second he had found someone else goodlooking? Maybe there was hope for him.

"From around here?" he asked not wanting to simply move on just yet.

She felt herself being grabbed and immediately tensed up ready to attack if need be. Before actually hearing and really looking at the boy she had ran into. But that was short and could easily be mistaken for a startled jump, which it pretty much was. Suddenly she was glad she was in New Zealand, it was worth a bad floo to see a hot guy on the streets. She didn't know how to respond to the first statement so she instead decided to answer the question. "No... Just visiting for the day, and you?" she asked pushing a piece of her hair behind her ear.

She was cute, decidedly so and Fenton would have to be blind not to see that fact and yet he couldn't help the thought that popped into his head. 'But she doesn't have red hair'. He immediately wanted to take himself aside and chastise his own stupidity, Andy didn't want him. He would have to get over her and sometime soon and yet he lived in hope, constant bloody hope as if it were a disease eating away at him. He smiled down at the girl infront of him. Maybe a decent distraction from her was what he needed.

"Apparated with nothing else better to do. It's pretty cold all year where I am right now" he knew he wasn't supposed to give away the location of his school but did he really care, "Are you finished visiting or just starting?"

Right now he really hoped she was either finished or wouldn't be going to visit whoever it was for some time yet. The thought that she could be visiting her boyfriend flitted across his mind for a moment but he shrugged it off. If she had well, there was no harm done. It wasn't like he had asked her to marry him or anything.

Trista of course was not a legilimens. She had no clue as to what the boy was thinking of her, as a distraction from an obsession, the fact that her hair was a chocolate brown rather than a gingery red, Iris's stormy grey-blue and not startling amber. Even if she did at this point she wouldn't really care. It was a random guy on the street, albiet a very cute one, They would maybe talk for a few minutes and move on. What was it to her if he already liked someone else anyways?

She listened and made small assumptions as he talked, she figured he was out of school, probably just graduated and living really far north of the equator. "Cold you say? I'm not much for cold weather, I guess it's a good thing I live near a sunny sea." she said, she didn't know the exact policy on Beauxbatons location secrets but she loved that it was very close to the Mediterranean Sea and Marseille France. She loved spending the summers with friends roaming the city and relaxing on the beach. "Oh I just got here, I had nothing to do and Beauxbatons for some reason keeps Private dorms hooked to the floo, bad idea." she said with a chuckle

The breeze that seemed to whip up around them brought the fact that he had on only the lightest of shirts and thinnest of sweaters on. Even his trousers were of a lighter material than he was used to wearing back at Durmstrang. He had known he would come here and had prepared for the dizzying heat he had experienced before but now it was so much cooler. He looked at the girl as she talked and wondered how she would feel about walking with him or grabbing a warm drink some where. Right now being on his own was the last thing he wanted and she seemed like she would be pleasureable company.

"Very bad idea but good for me" he winked, he wasn't trying to be charming. When he was it usually made him seem completely idiotic, Fenton was being sincere but sincerity in a 17yr old young man to a young woman was like fresh coals on a flame. He got the nerve up eventually as he ran his hand through his hair once again.
"Are you buzy? I mean.. are you buzy now? Would you like to grab a drink or something?"

Surely he had stuffed that up and big time to say the least. He waited though his legs were itching to run so he didn't have to hear another rebuke from a beautiful girl.

Trista too had dressed lighter than what the weather called for on that cold afternoon. The springs in England, where she had been intending to go were usually rather warm and she had dressed accordingly instead of for a New Zealand autumn, wearing a light blue tee shirt and and some jean bermuda style shorts. She was getting small goosebumps on her arms. When he mentioned that it was good for him Trista luckily kept herself from giggling like she would have done a year ago. She realized how idiotic she would have felt trying that now.

When asked if she was Busy Trista shook her head, "Not at all." she replied. She hadn't necessarily made any concrete plans for coming out other than to just find something to occupy her time, and he just offered the perfect oppurtounity to kill some time and spend it with an attractive guy. "That sounds good." she answered nodding as she did so. This accidental trip halfway acroos the world may turn out better than she thought it would.

Fenton didn't know why he did it but as soon as she agreed to go somewhere with him, he held out his hand to her. She could choose to disregard it but something now inside of him, wanted her to simply hold it. Why wouldn't a girl want to hold his hand? Just because Andromeda didn't, did not mean all girls would find him unattractive. He looked at her beautiful face and smiled. There was definitely something about her, it didn't know what it was but felt as if fate had sent him here with the one purpose today and it wasn't necessarily to meet the girl he had previously thought.

"Hogs Head ok with you?" he hoped it was a decent enough place, he had passed it a while ago and knew that the walk to it would be pleasant enough if she was holding his hand, walking beside him and just being.
Was he getting daft about another girl so quickly? He didn't think so and didn't want to think about it, he simply for now just wanted to enjoy her company.

Almost as soon as she had accepted his inviation she noticed him holding his hand out to her. She looked at it for a second, contemplating before taking hold of it lightly with her own small ivory toned hand. This was definitely different than her usual encounters with guys. Most of the time she was either being flirty to a fault or the guy was trying almost comicly to lay on the charm in thick smothering layers or sometimes both. Teens could be quite ridiculous in that department, Trista knew this from experience that much was certain. But different didn't always mean bad. She quite liked this... whatever it was.

When he suggested the Hogs Head Trista hesitated a moment before answering. "I don't know about the one here but the one back near Hogwarts Scotland is kind of shady. We could try it though." she said trying to be flexible, for all she knew this one was different than the other one. Afterall different owners ran places different ways. She hadn't even known the wizarding world had chain businesses.

She took his hand and he had to actually look down as his fingers curled around hers. Her hand felt strangely at home there, he mentally shook himself. Why was he setting himself up for another fall? He still harboured crazy maddening feelings for one of his closest friends so why was he reacting now to this girl.
"By the way, I'm Fenton. Fenton Longestine" he smiled at her noticing that the breeze had blown a stray small feather that had somehow landed on her hair. He reached over and gently plucked it out, noticing how soft her hair was. Gulping some fresh air into his lungs he inhaled deeply to waken himself up, was he being a complete idiot here?

"I've been to that one actually" keep it light, keep it light he warned himself, had that been his problem with Andromeda? Had he been too much too fast and way too soon? There were then mistakes to be learnt from and looking at the girl infront of him, he had a feeling she'd be worth taking the time to learn.
"Think it took me three hours of using scourgify on my shoes to actually get them even slightly clean" he decided to rethink this, perhaps the Hogs Head wasn't the best place after all, "Tell you what you decide. I'll go anywhere you want me too".
He had meant to keep it light but as soon as the words had come out he had wanted to stuff his foot in his mouth to stop more from tumbling haphazardly out and tripping up his credability.

Their fingers intertwined with one anothers and his hand felt warm against her skin, her heart skipped a beat which shocked her. It was only when he told her his name when she realized that they had never actually introduced themselves to one another and they were already heading out for lunch and a drink. Fenton, it was a nice name. "My names Trista, Trista Paramore." she said after a moment temporarily losing her head. What was different about this encounter that was causing her to lose her head so easily? She didn't know but she felt being shot half way across the world from where she had wanted to be was actually a good thing, not that she had been too dissapointed to begin with.

So he had been to the hogs head in scotland too. Saying it wasn't the cleanest place was a gross understatement and having to try for hours at cleaning shoes sounded about right to her. "Yeah, Hogs head probably isn't the best idea." she said agreeing with him. I'll go anywhere you want me to. she heard him say and blinked. It was a bit out of the ordinary but it was still nice to say the least. "Hmmm..." she started contemplating her options. " How about the three broomsticks?" she asked, she had almost said Madam Puddifoots but stopped herself at the last moment. That place had a tendancy to be overly romantic. The three broomsticks was a good neutral setting for someone she had just met. No matter how fast he made her heart beat.

Fenton smiled and taking her by the hand they began to walk towards the Three Broomsticks. The weather was alot cooler but he felt suddenly warm all over, his hand in hers probably had alot to do with it. Part of him thought he was being stupid and another part of him wanted to be guilty over this but he couldn't. Sure he was crazy about Andromeda but she cared nothing for him, at least not the way he had hoped. Now here was a really beautiful girl and she wasn't disgusted by how he looked, what he said or how he behaved. She kept her hand in his and it felt nice.

"So, you're Beauxbatons then? what's it like there? I know there are boys as well but are they all girly?" he had seen a few and they really had looked like they should have been braiding their hair or something. He didn't see any point in telling her he was up for a transfer, it probably wouldn't go through knowing his luck but if it did then perhaps he would get to bump into her on a more regular basis.

"nearly there" he began to slow his step as he noticed that even from here it looked really busy, "Is there anywhere else? I don't think we'd even get a seat in there."

As they walked Trista had to fight the small temptation to just close her eyes and let the pale heat of the sun hit her face. But considering they were walking along a street that was grantedly not too crowded, it still wasn't the best idea. The autumn breeze picked up and the air seemed to drop another degree or two in temperature but she didn't feel nearly as chilly as she had when she had gotten there that morning.

When Fenton asked if she was from Beauxbatons Trista nodded. "Yeah. It's... interesting to say the least." she started thinking about some of her times there, interesting may not have been the best word to describe it but it was the only one she could find. "I love the location of it. The beach is amazing during the summer break. The sterotype about Beauxbatons boys is true about half the time. Usually in the younger ones i've noticed. But for every girly one theres one that a person would never think was a Beauxbatons boy." she said

When they approached the Three broomsticks she too saw how crowded the place was. "Wow, I think you're right." she agreed nodding. So that was why the streets were so emtpy, it seemed like the whole population of New Zealand had taken up residence in the Three broomsticks. "I don't really know this place that well but I'm sure we could fine something." she suggested giving a small shrug of her shoulders as she did so.

Fenton had an idea, he had heard of a place. In fact Aries and Harrison had accidentally found themselves there on occasion and had told him exactly what type of place it was. He didn't really mind about that for now but figured if these other places were all busy then perhaps that one might be quiet.

He turned to look at her with a mischievous glint in his eyes.
"Trust me?" he didn't wait for an answer as he ran the few doors down the road still holding her hand, "Voile!"
He announced as he stood infront of Madame Puddifoots.
"Ok so it has a reputation but I'm sure we're big enough to handle it" he turned to face her and realized he was standing directly infront of her. Close enough to reach out and touch her hair, to see the flecks of color in her eyes, close enough to lower his head and kiss her - if he wanted to but he shook himself mentally. He may want to do all of these things but wasn't it just a tad too soon? Maybe Puddifoots was a bad idea but right then his stomach growled loudly and he looked at her imploringly.
