Ryan Porter stood stiffly by a street lamp, his arms folded tightly across his chest. This place was way to crowded right now for him, especially when he was well aware of many of them probably being mudblood's. He cold just about tolerate mixed bloods but nothing less, unless they were death eaters. There was but only one reason why he was putting up with this place now and that reason was Noemi, the woman who was heavily pregnant with his child and the woman who associated with mudblood's. He had no idea how he could have such feelings toward someone that he hated so much sometimes. They were so different and yet he was sticking around with her. He would have been better to just staying with Caysi, the girl who loved the Potters. Bunch of half bloods the lot of them in his eyes.

The sun was out and shining down but Ryan didn't feel warmth. It was probably quite a cool day compared to some of the other days which it had been way too hot to even enjoy being out side. He was wearing sunglasses to stop himself from squinting because of the sun but apart from that his dress was no different to how it would be in the Winter. With crack of his neck he waited impatiently for Noemi to show her face.

Noemi waddled her way over to where her and Ryan were supposed to meet. She was running late but that was understandable, she had had to pause for about ten minutes to yell at an old man that tried to rub her belly. Her belly had, obviously, grown quite a bit as she was a month past her due date and people took that as an invite to poke her or randomly come and feel her up. These people seemed to forget how sensitive and hormonal pregnant women could be and were shocked when she tried to break there ribs.

As she turned the corner, Noemi spotted the father of her child and smiled. She loved him, no matter how different they were and how much they fought or how he hated part of her family just because of what they were, she loved him. Maybe one day they would get along for long enough that they could be a family. Ryan, Noemi and little baby Shane. She hadn't chosen the name Shane because it was Irish like Ryans' family, not at all, never, well, maybe a little bit. The baby's full name was Shane Kelly Costello-Porter. That kind of gave off an Irish vibe.

Noemi finally reached Ryan and leant against the street lamp, out of breath with carrying this child inside her. "Hi there." She smiled up at him, still panting out of breath. The pregnant woman waited for a scathing remark or comment in her direction. There almost always was.

Ryan looked at his magical watch as he sighed. They were meant to be meeting at 11am. Ten minutes after that time, still no Noemi. He hated t when people could not arrive on time even when it was so plainly told to them. Ryan was only ever late if it was on purpose, but that was probably down to his OCD. Everything he did had to be perfect or it was a waste of time. If he was given a job to do it would be done just as planned and if he had to e somewhere he got there dead on the time given.

As he saw saw Noemi, she was so big now it was hard to not see her, he stood up strait. A disagreeable obvious on his face. Of course he was glad to see her, more than anything but the fact hat she was late was what he was annoyed bout. "So eleven eh." He said watching her ant. If she had trouble walking properly maybe she should ave left earlier. "Hows the baby and his mother?" He asked showing concern for the well fair of the both of them, seeing as he was now linked to Noemi through another living thing and there was no getting out of it. Not that he minded too much, he liked that he had a real reason to see Noemi and not just because he wanted to be in bed with her. That was not an option now, seeing as she was over due enough as it as he wasn't about to force the thing out of her like that.

Noemi glared at him when he mentioned the time. It was those moment when she knew he would never turn into a family guy. "Yeah, well..." She trailed off. She couldn't blame the old man. Ryan would ask why, she'd explain and Ryan would probably kill or maim him. She didn't really want that on her conscience.

Noemi waved her hand to dismiss the question, she didn't really feel like answering right now. "I feel like we should be near some sort of seat." She out her hand on her stomach and groaned. Shane was kicking again. It was weird, he was normally moving all the time but he had stopped moving so much in the past week. Around the same time that he had moved enough that she could breathe, it was nice but it made it worse to walk.

Noemi really hoped he, Ryan, wasn't in a difficult mood today. She needed some sort of support, preferably a chair or bench, or she would scream. This was one of the few moment she was allowed out without a Mother, a Robyn or a DJ. She didn't want it ruined because he was in a difficult mood.

Ryan chose to ignore the glare which Noemi had shot at him. Being used to it after a while, then again not much bothered him that she did except when she hung around with filthy mudbloods such as the one he had been so unlucky to have to have even been in the same air space as. As soon as he had gotten home after that he had gone strait into the shower.

He put the tip of his thumb in his mouth in front of his teeth as she spoke. Course when a girl was the size of a house like she was it had to hurt her legs. He wasn't totally absent from her struggles, he just chose to ignore them most of the time as they were usually unimportant and silly in his eyes. "Noemi calm down a bit ok. Il take you to go sit down." He said holding his out his right hand for her take take hold off so that she could lean on him and put more weight on him than on her, he was strong enough to take the weight off her for long enough for her to feel a little better. Just because he was a heartless death eater to most people most of the time it didn't mean that he didn't have his moments of kindness. Especially when it a girl that he sort of had a few feelings for.

Noemi took his right hand and, the minute they connected, she felt a large amount of pain coming from her stomach. She assumed, as it was the most likely option, that it was another braxton-hicks contraction. Apparently they were common and, according to the male doctor, weren't meant to be that painful. She had almost killed him when he had said that.

Noemi steadied her breathing and clenched her jaw as she waited for it to pass. She didn't noticed as her hand clamped around the hand of her baby's father nor did she noticed the horrible cracking sound it made after about five minutes of being squeezed in the wrong direction.

Noemi sighed after ten minutes, released Ryan's hand, and stretched her back, one hand on her stomach. "So, a bench then?" She asked turning to look at Ryan. Something was wrong with him, that much she could tell. His hand hadn't moved from where she had held it and his expression had changed, she couldn't tell when the expression was. "Are you alright Ryan?"

As Noemi took hold of his pale hand Ryan gave her a slight smile, seeing as smiles were not a common thing for him to do he only gave them to people he liked, unless he was pretending to like someone because he could use them for information or anything else later on. If there was one thing Ryan could do the best it was pretend. He had spent his whole life pretending and now it was as natural as breathing for him.

A rush of pain suddenly his him. Like lightning bolts shoot from the hand which Noemi was hold. Ryan gritted his teeth as he felt his hand breaking. He had been in worse pain before but that didn't make it hurt any less than it did now. His left hand was clenched in to a fist, his knuckles turning white as his hand protested again the force of the fist. It seemed like hours before she finally let go of his hand. His eyes darting down to his hand. The evidence was there, a few fingers out of place and a inability to even move them.

As Noemi asked him if he was ok he instantly glared at her. How could she even think of asking him that after she had just crushed his hand. "No im not bloody ok. You just broke my hand how do you think im feeling." He said painfully through gritted teeth. There was still painful bolts coming from his hand which were getting more and more painful.

Noemi frowned in confusion at his hands. She couldn't have broken them, she was a little weakling. She could barely bruise any one. Looking down at his hands, however, she saw it was the truth. She tried to come up with an explanation but, before her mind could even begin to think she was hit with another set of pain.

This time Noemi leant against the wall and took calming breaths. It passed quickly but worried her. "Perhaps we should go to St Mungo's." She hadn't looked in pain the last time so Ryan probably wouldn't have even noticed it. She felt like something was wrong. Placing her hand on her stomach, Noemi turned to Ryan, determined. "Now, Ryan, we go to the hospital Now!" Her voice wasn't loud but it was sure as hell scary. She didn't usually trust people to apparate her, it was bad for the baby after all, but this time she didn't mind if it meant getting there quicker.

Ryan tried his very best to ignore the pain. Although even with his best efforts, broken limbs were not the easiest to forget about, even more so when he was worried more about Noemi. Something must have had to happen to her to make her cause this amount of damage to him. She was usually weak and practically harmless to him. "Oh ur right. Yeah" He looking around the area, not for anything in particular but because he was afraid for Noemi's safety and the fact that he had been put under pressure so quickly. It was only made worse when she rushed him again. He quickly reached out with his good arms and took hold of her. Apperating to the hospital.

once his feet touched hard ground again the pair were in the middle of the waiting room. Quickly walking to the reception he said. "This girl needs a doctor now. I think she is going in to labour." He said assertively. It was only a few moments later that a doctor walked up to them to take Noemi away. Ryan followed, not letting her out of his sight

Noemi stumbled when they hit the floor and scowled at the man next to her. "I can speak for myself you know." She snapped at him, mumbling under her breath about breaking his other hand if he treated her like she was incapable of anything again. When the doctor came to take her she turned to him and, once asked, described what was happening.

"I'm really worried something is wrong with him. He's stopped moving so much, I keep getting sharp pains in my stomach and, well, something just feels off." Noemi knew Ryan would be following her, he had grown protective over her but she knew it was just because she was carrying his child. She would be delusional to thnk it was her he actually liked.

Noemi listened as the doctor told her what they were going to do before he handed her a hospital robe to put on. They were going to do a couple of tests to make sure Shane was doing well and there was nothing wrong with him. Then they were going to check Noemi, make sure she was in good shape to give birth and, finally, they would induse labour if she wasn;t already in it. All she had to do for now was get changed in the bathroom she was in.

Ryan frowned at Noemi as she said that she could speak for herself. "Shut up, just concentrate on giving birth will you." He said walking behind the doctor and heading in to the room which he led her in to. He folded his arms across his chest as he listened to her tell the doctor that she thought that something was wrong with the kid. He tried to keep his face neutral although he was probably as worried as she was. This would be his first child and his first chance of raising him in to the strong boy he could be like his dad. He didn't want any thing to happen to the child. "Can you like hurry up. If anything goes wrong because you were too slow il sue you, not the hospital but you for so much more than you will ever be able to afford." He said fiercely to the doctor with a scowl.

Noemi sat on the bed in her hospital gown and watched with a frown as the doctor waved his wand in intricate patterns. She was right, there was something wrong, she could feel it before the doctor even looked up. She could hear Ryan outside and screamed to him. "Shut the hell up Ryan, you can threaten them later." The healers around her didn't seem surprised, she assumed most heavily pregnant women screamed.

Noemi watched as her main doctor went to talk to one of his assistant and panicked as she heard certain words of the conversation. The words, lack of oxygen, risk of suffocation, and immediate c-section didn't sound good to her. The doctor came over to her and told her she had to go into a surgery room immediately. She followed them, the only good thing she could find in this situation was the thought of what would happen to the poor person too tell Ryan that there was actually something wrong and she had to have surgery.

Ryan huffed as he heard the familiar scream of Noemi. "The quicker that kid is out of her the better." He uttered to himself angrily. He walked to the door way of the room which Noemi was laying in. He watched as healers crowded around her. He knew there were a few death eaters with healer positions. He was quite satisfied with his seeker position. It paid well and he had more than enough money to be able to afford to pay for Mel and now for his son. He was the one who had to pay for them anyway. To his knowledge Noemi had no job. He would be surprised if she did get a job, he didn't see her as the working type. A very unattractive trait she had.

As he stood Ryan watched one of the healers approach him and start speaking to him. A frown crossing his face as he got the news. "If any of you hurt her in there I will come after you personally. So don't even get me started if you harm my son" He said seriously. There was nothing he could do about the fact that there was something wrong inside Noemi, but he could certainly do something if anything went wrong in the operation, and he certainly would if anything did go wrong.

Noemi panicked as she was taken into a room but it wasn't for long. A healer waved his wand and the world disappeared. She was thrown into a dream that made no sense, a few voices got through the cotton wool surrounding her mind but she couldn't make sense of them so blocked them out.

The surgery took almost an hour and the baby boy was born healthily. Noemi and her son were moved to a private room. She was placed in her bed, still knocked out cold, and the little boy, now washed and quiet, was given his own cot next to the bed.

The surgeons checked the mother and baby's vitals before going outside to where Ryan was still waiting. He informed Ryan that the surgery went successfully and they are both healthy. He allowed Ryan into the room just as the baby woke up. The baby looked around the room with his big, eyes that matched the colour of their fathers to the exact shade.

Ryan watched as the staff took Noemi in to surgery. If he had his way he would have gone in with them and held her hand, but for obvious reason he could not. Instead he just waited in the hall and paced up and down as he waited for it all to be over and to be told that the woman he really loved was fine and so was their son. He knew he kept telling Avalon he loved her when they met up but he did not. She was just a pretty face on his arm he walked around with and who kept him bed warm at night. She submitted to him and believed that he loved her. just what he liked in a girl friend who he liked to love and leave. Unlike Noemi who he knew would not submit to him and would constantly argue with him/ At least she was good in bed.

When he saw a healer walked out of the room Ryan rushed up to her to hear the news. A sigh of relief escaping him as he heard that she and the baby were well. Ryan walked to h er room once she had been put back in there. He saw his son and walked over to him. The baby had his eyes open and looked at him. Around 95% of new borns eyes were blue, his were black like Ryans. He lent down and picked the baby up in his strong arms and held him close to him as he sat on the end of Noemis bed

Noemi slowly came too and rolled over, wincing in pain from the giant whole in her stomach where the surgery was. She opened her eyes and, although it was blurry, she saw an empty cot next to her. She creased her forehead in confusion and worry. "Shane." Her voice was but a croak, she cleared her throat and rolled back, hissing out the air as the pain his her again. "Shane? Where's my baby." She could see someone standing in her room but her eyes hadn't cleared so she couldn't tell who and she couldn't move closer to see.

Ryan had a huge genuine smile on his face as he looked down at his baby son. He was the most beautiful creature he had ever seen in his life. As he heard Noemis voice he looked at her still with a bug smile on his face showing off his white teeth. "Don't worry i'v got him." He said placing his hand on her knee and giving it a rub as he looked back to his son. "He is so amazing. Its almost unbelievable to think that he is real." Ryan said looking back to the mother

Noemi's eyes cleared up just as she recognised Ryans' voice. She smiled at the emotion in it. She never thought she'd hear his voice so full of love. "Can you help me sit up?" She wouldn't be able to do it herself. Rolling over hurt so badly and this would use the muscle recently sliced up. She wanted to see and hold her little boy.

Noemi was happy right now. Besides all the pain she was in and the cotton wool still surrounding her head, she was happy. She had her man next to her, she had her boy out with them and she had done it without hurting anyone. Her baby was fine, he was happy and healthy and his daddy loved him. All she could ask for in the world right now.
