Harri walked up to the North Tower. It was one of her favorite places inside the castle, it was often quite and she found it easy to think and concentrate up here. She walked up the stairs untill she came to her favorite windowsill ledge and sat down on it and looked out of the window at the breath taking view. It was truely amazing here and each and everyday she felt privelledged to be here. So far she had been strong since confiding in Kiera and Ellie she had found it easier to be happier, she had needed her best friend Ellie's shoulder to cry on, her comforting words and she needed to know that Ellie would stick by her no matter what. And she did, Ellie had helped her grieve and was now helping her to be herself again.
She had needed Kiera's listening ear and her soothing words, Kiera felt more like a big sister then a third year in her house what had also helped Harri was Kiera's truthful words, she needed to be told when she was making things worse and feeling sorry for herself.
Now it was time for her to do something for them. She knew it was only a small gift and they probably wouldn't find the drawing anything special but she had little money and thought doing something creative would be nice. She had already drawn Ellies picture and shown it to her and know she focused on Kiera's. She wasn't sure really what to do so decided to make her a small thank you card. She teared a page out of her sketch pad and picked up one of the art pencils her uncle had given her for christmas. She held the pencil above the page for a few minutes being undecisive on whether to do a cartoon or proper drawing. In the end she opted for a proper drawing. She sketched their faces capturing every detail in her mind. She split the page into 3, two small boxes and one big, drawing different images in each of the squares. In the first one she drew herself on the dorm floor a single tear dripping down her face and her body hunched and small and Kiera sitting next to her helping her. She remembered this scene clearly she had just arrived back at Hogwarts and she was already in tears on the floor, Kiera had helped her then and Harri had no doubts that she would help her again. She moved onto the second one, which took her a long time, she sketched a picture of herself and Kiera talking about Gymnastics in the tower both of them smiling, she couldn't help herself and drew a speech bubble with tiny detailed cartoon of Kiera mid flip, It was so small Harri doubted anyone would be able to clearly make out what it was. In the third and final box she drew a larger picture of her and Kiera grinning. Underneath it said 'Thank you!' in neat curly writing. She smiled down at her work pleased with it. She opened it up and inside wrote.
Harri smiled at her message short but sweet, she placed the card on the windowsill next to her and looked out the window. It was now afternoon! She must have been up here for hours already! But she had no plans of moving jsut yet!
