it was study week and Selene was busy she hadn't thought that she had learned much over the semester until she had started to study. the pressure was not helping in other aspects of her life too. she had had a few weeks of dreamless sleep but the last few days she had had nightmare after nightmare until last night she hadn't even tried to go to sleep. instead, she had slept in the day, almost turning nocturnal. the advantages of study week were that there were no classes so she could make her own timetable. right now it was mid-morning and she was sitting in the north tower reading her study notes on the rules of transfiguration. she liked the north tower, it was quiet and the windows meant that there was always sunlight no matter where in the sky the sun was. there was something else about the tower that just felt safe even though she wasn't sure why. she read through the notes it was not very engaging and she soon felt the warm sun on her face and her eyes getting heavier until she started to doze off.
