Isabella had been avoiding her friends for a few days, and she didn't know why. She felt like perhaps they were branching out and making new friends. Should I? she thought to herself momentarily, before allowing a sigh to escape her pink-glossed lips. She was just being paranoid and admittedly distancing herself from them too. Perhaps it was because she had kissed someone else who wasn't her boyfriend, and although she never wanted to admit it to anyone, she also wanted to confide in her friends. Well, not Abbey, she wouldn't tell her. She knew that after the way she had betrayed Abbey, she would have to be weary about the things she said to her, especially something like kissing Thomas Smith. Ew! she immediately reacted in her mind, pretending to hate the incredibly cute nerd. And if she couldn't tell Abbey something, the violet-eyed girl would know she was keeping something from her which would cause her to get mad all over again, thus Isabella was forced to keep her mouth shut. And as much as she loved to gossip, this was one thing she didn't want getting out.

Today the Slytherin girl was out at Brightstone, shopping for no particular reason, just keeping herself busy. Surprisingly she was caught up with all her homework so she had no need to stay in and she definitely didn't want to be sitting home alone in her dorm as the Brightstone Village was open to them. She was wearing a red dress and a new black and white coat over as it was getting colder in New Zealand. Isabella was heading towards another store when all of a sudden, a downpour of rain came from out of nowhere. Isabella shrieked as she began getting soaked, running underneath the nearest building that provided shelter from the rain. The Slytherin groaned lightly to herself as she looked up to the sky, wondering when it would stop raining.

Jessica hadn't really been around Hogwarts that much lately, she had been enclosing herself in the Slytherin dormitory, away from her friends, and she couldn't even remember why. Usually she would've been surrounded by her friends, laughing and shopping with them, but they didn't even know where she had gone. The reason she had not been hanging out with her friends lately was because the blue-eyed girl had met the notorious Henric Lee lately, and of course had fallen head over heels in love with him. 'How pathetic'. She thought to herself. Jessica would fall in love with anyone, if they loved her back, but Henric was different. She would have to chase after him, for once, instead of the boy falling head over heels in love with her, it was vice versa. She wasn't even sure if he knew she existed. Of course, Jessica loved a good gossip as well as her friends, but she had to keep this to herself. She couldn't let it get around the school, she wasn't even sure if she could trust any of her friends with this anymore.

A sigh omitted from the Slytherin girl as she left the shop in Brightstone. She was wearing a sky blue jacket with black slacks as it was colder in New Zealand. As she rifled through the shirts on the rack, she sighed. It didn’t feel the same shopping without her friends and so she left the shop the bell tinkling loudly behind her. When she was outside, she felt water start trickling down on her. It was raining. “Shoot.” She muttered to herself, running to a nearby shelter, using her blue jacket’s hood to cover her long blonde hair. She didn’t notice the other girl there as she reached the shelter and she looked at the pouring rain. It ruined her day already, and it had already been bad enough.

Isabella was looking upwards towards the sky, giving it a glare for daring to rain on her shopping day, not that her glare would do anything. If anything though, Mother Nature would instead reply with a heavier rainfall, and it wasn't long before the water began hitting the cement floor harder and faster. Isabella grumbled to herself as she crossed her arms, annoyed that she was stuck beneath the shelter of this building unless she wanted to chance ruining her new coat.

When she turned to the side she noticed another girl there with shopping bags also, but chose not to acknowledge her. Isabella wasn't one to be friendly and introduce herself to people right away, only on her way to Hogwarts was she ever nice to everyone she met, but that was because she was trying to establish her reputation and now that she was well known around the school, she didn't have to pretend to be nice to anyone. Isabella glanced at the girl beside her once more, noticing she had a hood and immediatley wished she had one too. As a reaction, the Slytherin ran her hair through her fingers and patted down her brunette locks, hoping they wouldn't frizz.

Jessica sighed once more as she notice it rain even harder and she looked around her and noticed the older girl. "Hi." She said, nodding slightly. She was sure she had seen the girl around Hogwarts before, but wasn't completely sure. Jessica dropped her shopping bags on the floor and crossed her arms tapping her foot impatiently. She wished she could apparate, even though she was only in her second year so she could get out of this dumb rain.

Jessica wasn't usually known for getting to know people and be all buddy buddy with them, but she hated being alone so she would talk to some people that she thought were similar too her. The way this girl carried herself was sort of the way she did as well. "I'm Jessica." She said, speaking out again. She hated the quiet. She pulled the hood of her hair, shaking out her already messy hair from it. At least the shelter was dry from the rain.

Isabella heard the girl say 'hi' out loud, knowing very well that it was directed towards her as they were the only two people in the area, but chose not to acknowledge it right away. Isabella wasn't interested in getting to know her, a random stranger, so she merely looked at her and looked away again, rolling her eyes in the process.

It seemed the girl was persistent however, as she had then introduced herself. "I'm Jessica." the girl had stated. Isabella sighed inaudibly and turned around, noticing her shopping bags that were on the ground and thought if the girl was a shopper she probably wasn't that bad. Still, true to her Slytherin self, the fourteen year old wasn't going to warm up to someone right away. She kept a calm face as she finally replied, "Isabella Chaos," with a tone of superiority. Everyone at the school had to know her, or at least heard her name, and if they didn't know her, she was going to make sure they did.

Jessica smirked slightly, so she was right about the girl being a fellow Slytherin. The thirteen year old girl sighed as she pulled off her hood and shook out her blonde hair in a simple movement. It was safe and her hair wouldn't go all crazy as the shelter would protect her from the rain. Hopefully it wouldn't last too long. She had to go back to the school soon for her afternoon classes.

She picked up her three large shopping bags and tapped her foot impatiently waiting, for the rain to stop. She wasn't sure what to say to Isabella. Isabella was well known around the school, sort of like a legend, and it wasn't usually that Jessica was struck silent, but she was.
