She was born, Nicolette Saint-Clare, but when she was adopted into her aunt's family she became Dove Nicolette Williams​

MEANING:​

Nicolette - The name Nicolette is a French baby name. In French the meaning of the name Nicolette is: People's victory. Greek Meaning: The name Nicolette is a Greek baby name. In Greek the meaning of the name Nicolette is: People's victory.​

Williams - The meaning is derived from son or descendant of Williame, the Northern French form that also gave the English name William. Derived from an Old French given name with Germanic elements; will = desire, will; and helm = helmet, protection.​

Saint-Clare - This ancient and distinguished surname, The Middle English and Old French female given name "Cla(i)re", which derives from the Latin "Clara", itself coming from "clarus", famous, achieved great popularity on the Continent through the fame of St. Clare of Assisi.​

WHY:​

Dove was named by her mother, she is far younger than the rest of her siblings and by the time Dove was born her mother had gone off traditional formal names, and had fallen for the name Dove, it was a good name she believed and while it took much convincing eventually when she had the child it was clear that her name would be Dove. While a dove, as in the animal is not a particularly clean or good animal, it was more the association with peace and goodness that Dove's mother wanted in naming her child. The middle name Nicolette was her original first name and her real mother's desire for her daughter to keep name, it was her surrogate father's decision to make sure that she kept that part of her original name, since her surrogate mother had so heavily campaigned for the name to be just Dove, her surrogate father insisted for it to be the middle name since they both wanted a specific name for her. He conceded in the first name but remained strong with the second one until he got his way. The surname Williams which she was given when adopted is an old family name. It's an incredibly common name, but Dove's father tells her, that in every generation of their family the name has been passed on and that their family is most likely decedents from those the name comes from. Because of her high family status, she is sure that this is true. Her actual surname Saint-Clare is a very popular but seen as a highly noble french name, her father's family have been in France for generations. ​

NICKNAMES: ​

Dove does not have any nicknames, the first name Dove is too short to ever have to shorten and Nicolette isn't really that long either. Dove doesn't really like nicknames, she thinks they're a bit silly because it wouldn't take much more to just say the full name. At school, and in general in France, Dove goes by her second name Nicolette, so in that way it could be seen as a nickname in that she gets called that rather than her first name. This is purely because the name Dove is not as easily translatable into french as Nicolette is since Nicolette is really a French name. Dove does it because it's simpler. It's easier for most to just know her by that rather than anything else.​

D.O.B.: ​

April 3rd 2026. Dove was born at St. Mungo's in London, England. She was born around midday after only an hour or so of her mother being in labour, she was told that out of all her siblings, Dove was the easiest and shortest birth. She was born on the exact day she was supposed to be due with little complications surrounding her birth. She was born heathy and of a good weight. ​

REAL FATHER:​

Simon Saint-Clare, died in June of 2026, pureblood, attended Beauxbaton academie of magic. He had naturally red hair, though it thinned and greyed when he was pretty young. His mother died when he was three, and his father died when he was about fifteen/sixteen years old. He was a very adventurous wizard and had no real fears while in school or otherwise, he was always very sure of himself and his own beliefs. He left school in 2003 and went straight into training to become an auror, he married in August of 2020. He died in June of 2026, two weeks after his daughter was born in an attack on his home which also killed his wife, his daughter had been with her mother's parents. Dove takes after her father in looks more so that her mother. ​

REAL MOTHER:​

Nicolette Saint-Clare, died in June of 2026, mixed blood, attended Beauxbatons. She was very studious in school although her talents lay in making disguises whether by the use of spells or by muggle methods. She graduate from school and began working as part of the French ministry of Magic in association with the Aurors to help create identities for uncover work. She married in the August of 2020, and they several unsuccessful attempts at children until her only daughter was born, named Nicolette at the time, though when she was brought into the Williams/Chelsea family they changed her name to Dove. She died two weeks later while in her home, after her husband came back from work, and they'd been about to go collect their daughter. ​

(SURROGATE) FATHER/UNCLE:​

Mathew Williams Sr. Went to Eton, then Oxford to study law. Became a Lord, after his father died shortly before Charlotte was born. He spends most of his time at there home in London. Matthew also owns and runs his father's old business, a company which functions primarily as an a muggle insurance company functioning out of London. However, he has recently decided to leave the family business to focus solely on being a Lord. He is muggle but has been very welcoming of the magical people within his family, seeing it as a gift to his boring and dated family. ​

(SURROGATE) MOTHER/AUNT:​

Elizabeth Williams. Maiden name is Chelsea. She was born and raised in St Albans, England. She is a witch and attended Hogwarts in Scotland and was a Hufflepuff, but upon leaving school went to Oxford in England where she met her now husband. She is very protective of her daughters, and doesn't believe in muggle things like TV's and iPods. She believes girls should be brought up properly, in the same manner that she was raised. She has brown hair, and brown eyes. Elizabeth is a very nice person, who is a stay at home mum, despite being very well educated she has never used her degree for anything. ​

SIBLING(S)/COUSINS:​

Dove does not yet know about her real family so these cousins are still her siblings and she'll always view them as her siblings even if they are her cousins.​

Matthew Lafayette Willliams is the eldest sibling. He is 31 years old, born in 2005, and went to Hogwarts Scotland, Gryffindor. He was very popular, and this had continued onto his university life. He is currently engaged to the daughter of another of the Lords in Parliament. The Wedding is in the summer of 2027. Mathew will inherit the position of Lord, when his dad stands down, or passes. He married in the summer of 2027, to a Spanish girl who was of equal standing to him in terms of class. They recently had their first child in the winter of 2034.​

Gabriel Enoch Williams, is the middle son. He is 29, born in 2008, and attended Beauxbatons. He spent the first few years after school travelling around with his then girlfriend, they broke up during the travels. He came back to the UK, and attended Cambridge to study economics and political science. He has joined one of the main political parties in the UK, and is currently looking to work through the different position. He desires to be prime minister, but he is happy to just be an MP and help those that he can. He married an English woman with whom he went to school with. He has two sons born in December of 2037.​

Charlotte Edwina Williams, the oldest daughter. She is 23 years old and was born in 2014. She attended Hogwarts New Zealand for three years, Hogwarts Scotland for 1 and then Beauxbatons for the remaining three years. While at Hogwarts she was a Hufflepuff both in HNZ and HS. Currently she lives in New Zealand and works as a fashion designer for a New Zealand based high end clothing line which provides both muggles and wizards with clothing. ​

Anabelle Williams born in 2031, the last of the Williams biological children and currently goes to school in London. She is the only one who currently lives with the parents at home. Anabelle and Dove are fairly close as sisters, and the only one Dove's ever felt connected to in her family, more so than with Charlotte. ​

PET(S)​

Dove owns a small munchkin cat called Swan. She got it for her tenth birthday after years of pestering her parents to get her a cat. She doesn't take it with her to school mostly because she knows she'd probably forget to care for it, but she misses it dearly. Dove also used to own a horse, much like her brother's and sister she learned horse riding at a young age until she went to Beauxbatons at which point the horse she owned was sold. Dove didn't particularly horse riding but she did it to keep her parents happy, she doesn't have much concern for what happens to animals really, she doesn't really like fur clothing but she isn't overly bothered by it in the long run.​

BLOOD STATUS:​

Pureblood, although she doesn't know this yet, she's been told she's a half blood like the rest of her family, with a mixed blood mother, and a muggle father, which therefore makes her mixed blood. She was however raised in a mostly wizarding household. They did not have a lot of the items that normal muggle children have while growing up. Her real mother was a mixed blood witch and her father a pureblood and since Dove was fourth generation to her mother's family and the blood had been kept pure, she would be counted as a pureblood, although she doesn't know it.​

THOUGHTS ON BLOOD STATUS:​

Dove has never had any concerns about her blood, nor has she ever felt the need to be better. Dove's always been happy to be a witch and has never once thought that her life would be better without the muggle parts of it. She enjoys having both worlds and doesn't tolerate in the slightest any person who decides to hate people because of their blood. It is the only occasion that Dove would ever be violent towards another person.​

At this current point in Dove's life it would be Beauxbatons, she never thought she'd like a school so much or that it would become her favourite place to be. It was just something about the school that was beautiful to her, something about that that felt more easy, more at home than anything else had ever been. She was just happiest when she was at the school, she found it easy to smile and be happy while at the school than anywhere that she had ever lived before. ​

ETHNICITY: ​

Dove's family have been english for centuries. She has lots of varying blood in different parts of her family, but by in large her family is english and has always been living in England. Her real mother's side has always been english, but her real father's side had been french for generations, dating back to pre-revolution era. ​

FIRST HOME: Her first home, for Dove would be her family home in Kensington, in the city of London. It is a large home, which sits alone from most others, with a very large garden. It has three floors, with many bedrooms all with ensuites. It is a very old home, and has a good number of paintings within it. She feels very lucky to be able to have grown up in such a home. ​

Dove is still too young to know what she is sexually, currently she knows that she likes boys, or at least finds them cute, but as of right now, she doesn't feel attracted to them. Nor does she feel attracted to girls. Dove is too young to be certain of what orientation she is. ​

HAIR COLOUR: ​

Dove has naturally dark ginger hair, she takes after her real father in her hair colour. It is usually shoulder length in a very smart hairstyle. She has never particularly liked the fact that she has red hair and to be the only one of her family to have it, since it means that she's the only one of her siblings to not have blonde hair. Both her brothers and her sister all do. She sticks out against them and really hates it. It's bad enough in her mind that she's the youngest and by quite a margin. She has never thought that the hair colour that she had naturally suited her. It always seemed out of place. Dove usually wears various headbands in her hair, most of them are jewellery types of hairbands which her mother usually buys. Dove loves the way they feel in her hair, like crowns.​

HAIR HAS BEEN DYED​

Dove dyes her hair, and has been doing so since the start of second year. She dyes it a dark brown colour. She likes having her hair like that, she thinks that it suits her a lot more than having ginger hair ever did. She much prefers the way that she looks now than she did before. Dove feels that her new hair gives her new confidence and a better feeling about herself. Aside from dying her hair brown, Dove doesn't think she'd like it any other colour. Even though most of her family are blonde, Dove prefers having dark hair and doesn't really think that blonde hair would suit her that much. ​

EYE COLOUR: ​

Dove has pale greeny/blue eyes. Her eyes are a mixture of both her real parents eyes. They are neither one or the other but a blend of the two. Dove does enjoy her eyes, she thinks that they are perfect against her face. She thinks that they don't stand out as much as they can when her hair is dyed brown, that seems to make them a lot softer but they had appeared to stand out more when she had red hair. The colour plus the paleness of her skin made them stand out far more. As much as Dove does love her eyes she is happier now that they stand out a lot less against her skin. ​

BIRTHMARKS:​

Dove has a few visible freckles on her face, but no visible birthmarks aside from a few pale freckles, she does has two birthmarks right next to one another on her stomach about a centimetre to the left of her belly button. They are small but fairly easy to spot if someone is looking directly at her stomach. She does love her little birthmarks. Dove believes them to be in a strange place but they are fairly unique in a way and she likes that about them. She also really likes the fact that they are hidden from most people. She doesn't have to worry about covering them up to be able to be perfect. ​

BODY TYPE: ​

Dove has a small, slim build. She is very like most of the woman in her family, she has a slim body type and will likely never be taller than 5ft 4. She's currently pretty small, since she's still quite young but is growing slightly. She stays slim by keeping in shape and working hard on how she looks. Dove doesn't eat unhealthy food, and is mostly a vegetarian while at school. She will opted to not eat meat if she can avoid it. Occasionally Dove will eat fish, and at family events she'll each whatever she's given. ​

Dove has no idea what her blood type is because she's never needed to know it, but her blood type is AB (+ve). Dove has never desired to know because of a huge aversion to needles. She hates them. She thinks that they are the worst thing. Dove will likely never find out her blood type because of her aversion to needles and because she'll never be motivated to ever give blood.​

WHICH HAND?:​

Right Handed. ​

Dove's dominate hand is her right hand, she has never once tried to write with her other hand, Dove's handwriting is incredibly neat and cursive, and has never once thought that writing with her left would be better. She's never tried it, nor will she ever. Dove is fairly stubborn when it comes to most things, and this is one of those things the Dove is fairly stubborn about, she likes things the way they are and has never thought to herself that she would be better or even attempt to write with her other hand.​

Since Dove was raised in a very upper class, rich household in England, Dove has a very prim and proper, upper class accent. It is slightly softer because of her mother and the fact her mother was French. But, Dove's english accent is still very clear and very proper. Her french accent, while Dove is good at the language, her english accent is still pretty clear. She was getting better at it, clearly being able to speak better French than she had been when she started at Beauxbatons but her accent lingers.​

I CAN SPEAK:​

Dove can speak French and English fluently. She can read, write and understand both languages very well. She needs to be able to understand French for school, and her native language is English. She's very good at French, though her speaking could use a little work. Aside from those two languages, Dove knows a few Spanish phrases and understands a minimal amount of the language. She can also read and translate latin fairly well because of a class that she took while in primary school. ​

I AM ALLERGIC TO:​

Dove is deathly allergic to bananas, she always has been. Dove can not eat bananas, and can touch the skin of a banana, the outer skin, but cannot touch the banana itself or the inner part of the skin. Aside from that she has a mild allergy to lobster which also stretches to crab and langoustine, too much in one go of it would eventually kill her, but her skin breaks out into a horrible rash. Those are the only things that Dove is allergic to, and she's pretty happy with that. She works hard to stay away from banana related things and such. She's never annoyed about not being able to taste any of these things. ​

PERSONAL STYLE: ​

Dove hasn't quite got her own style yet, her mother picks out most of her clothes, but Dove likes dressing stylishly, she likes formal smart looking clothes. She loves dresses and skirts. Dove is in love with most summer dresses, though they are often fairly casual Dove loves them. She loves the different patterns and things that they have. Dove when not in uniform dresses smartly, often in skirts, not often in jeans, though she does own a few pairs of jeans, which she doesn't wear very often. Dove loves heels, one of the things she and her sister have in common are a love of heels. Dove loves clothes, she loves mixing and matching clothes. She has yet to have a singular style, since she's still young so her fashion sense is currently a little bit all over the place.​

Imperfection is what she fears the most, so Dove would definitely see her mother telling her that she wasn't perfect that she would never be perfect and things like that. She would see essentially anyone she cares for and loves tell her that she isn't perfect and that would be it. It wouldn't even matter if they talking about imperfect in the respect of grades or how she looks​

PATRONUS: ​

It would likely be her namesake, a Dove. While not the best of creatures she's always enjoyed them, and she knows that she would quite like her patronus to be of a winged creature. So, a dove works for her. ​

PATRONUS MEMORY:​

The final school dance of the year at the end of her primary school career. Dove couldn't believe that it had come so quickly she loved everything that there was about the school and although she was really excited to go to Beauxbatons she knew she'd miss all of her friends. So she and the other girls went all out for this event. Just held nothing back, had all of the fun that they could and formed a very strong bond in that evening. Because of this, Dove still frequently writes to them. She's always sending letters to them, and receiving them. While most of her friends use muggle things to stay in contact, Dove knows that letter writing is their best method of communication since a lot of them go to school which are strict on electronic devices. She wishes she could be with them occasionally, but the last memory she has with them is the best memory she's had so far. ​

DEMENTOR: ​

There was a point when her parents were thinking of sending her to Hogwarts New Zealand, since Charlotte, her sister was living in the country, but this to Dove was the worst thing that could happen she has never ever wanted to live in New Zealand or go to school there. She felt like she'd done something wrong like she hadn't been good enough for Beauxbatons. For a week straight during the holidays she was just in constant fear and sorrow over the off chance that she wouldn't be able to go. Obviously she did get to go in the end, but that would still be her most terrible memory. To other people this memory would very be trivial and not that sad, but for Dove, in a life where she's been pretty luck in just about everything would have this as her worst memory. ​

VERITISERUM: ​

Her strive for perfection in many ways is her biggest flaw, she loves being around people and she's confident occasionally generous in helping people, but if she had one truth to tell, it would be that underneath it all, Dove fears that she will never be good enough. It's pretty deep down, Dove is quite confident but that fear of not being good lingers within her brain and if she had to tell the truth about something it would definitely be just that. She wants to be perfect, in every way. The kind of perfect where she's not a brainbox but still gets good grades, where she's naturally pretty but can also be stunning with a little bit of effort. She doesn't ever want to be caught in a situation where she hasn't perfected how she looks for that day. Sharing a dorm with other girls has helped her in this regard but aside that, her deepest secret is that she'll never be perfect enough.​

MIRROR OF ERISED​

Dove would see herself as older, as no longer the young child, but as a young woman free and in the world. Looking more beautiful and perfect than ever. Dove is a bit of perfectionist. Everything she does is to a standard she wants, she'll never give anything less than her best especially when it comes to her looks. She works very hard to be in style and pretty and would see exactly that. She'd see herself as the face of a huge brand and compliments would adorn her. Dove can be fairly vain and this would be clear in what she sees.​

AMORENTIA: ​

Dove would smell roses to begin with. Her dorm at her primary school had roses just outside the window in the summer months, and it used to fill Dove's senses every morning when the house matron would come in to wake them up and to air the room. Dove loves the smell of bananas, even though she can't eat them, she doesn't regret not being able to eat them, but she loves the smell of them. Dove loves the smell of freshly washed linen and that new shoe smell when you open a box with a brand new pair of shoes within it. She enjoys the smell of vanilla soap and mint syrup. ​

I LOOK UP TO:​

For Dove this is a tie between her parents. Dove has always looked up to the pair of them. She's never struggled with this. She loves her father, and all of the work that he does, she respects everything that he does and all that he tries to show her. He has been patient with her, and she loves that about him. Dove can be fairly impatient and has always looked up to this quality about him. Her mother is mostly the same, she looks up to her because she isn't afraid to speak her mind or control things. Dove has always appreciated the work that her mother does and the help she get when they go shopping. She looks up to her as a unit because despite the many issues they've had, they've always managed to stay together. Dove respects how hard they work in their relationship and wishes that if ever she was in a relationship that her partner would show her the same respect and admiration that her parents show one another, while also respecting each other's opinion and always working knowing that a relationship is never easy and that it needs work.​

Despite being magical, Dove was raised in a protestant home. She doesn't believe in god, being a witch has changed her views on her religion and her relationship with it. She used to go to church a lot with her father, and often she has attended with her primary school, but she is non-practicing as of going to Beauxbatons. She stopped believing in God when she was fairly young, and found out, or became aware of the magic in her home. She attends with her father because she likes spending time with him, and it's nice in her mind to do something for other people. She hasn't told her father that she doesn't believe in it, but she's sure that he would understand if she ever did. They were never too religious at home, only ever doing prayers before dinner on the holidays​

Dove takes a lot of care in how she looks, she can be seen as being incredibly vain, she will spend hours on her appearance. She doesn't really care about what others thing about her doing that, it brings her happiness and Dove has always been about herself first and others second. She is fairly generous, her upbringing has allowed her to be fairly generous especially with money. She could been as almost careless with money just because of how much her family actually has. She doesn't talk about money that much and could in this respect be seen as fairly humble. She is a bright person, and has a very soft spoke nature. She's gentle and will never physically fight anyone unless they are being high and mighty about blood. She's passionate and driven, but stubborn and occasionally closed minded. She doesn't believe in marriage, though she respects those who are married. Dove is very polite, she acts prim and proper, but is less so that her sister was. London's Finishing School for Girls​

YEARS OF ATTENDANCE:​

From the age of three till the time that she went to magical school. It was a boarding school for girls a little outside of London and Dove really enjoyed it. She unlike her sister didn't do the gap year to the sister school in New Zealand. ​

HOUSE (IF APPLICABLE)​

There were only three houses in the school, since the school was itself pretty small, and each of the houses was named after an English queen, so Victoria, Elizabeth and Anne. Dove was in Elizabeth House and she believes it to be the best house. Although most would believe their house to be the best house.​

FIRST THOUGHTS:​

As Dove was only three at the time when she started, she didn't really know what to make of it other than it was really big and she wanted to go home. Over all, Dove really enjoyed the school. She was sad when she couldn't go to any English school with her friends who were obviously not magical. She enjoyed every moment of it, the firm friendships, the education, the manners she was left with. Everything about the school, makes her very glad she had to attend. ​

GRADES ACHIEVED​

During her time in the school while they didn't do standardised testing in the same way that other schools might, they had their own set of exams and ways of seeing how students were doing, and Dove achieved near perfect grades during her time at the school. She worked hard at her grades, though found most of it fairly easy to pick up and never had many problems in school when it came to learning or the tests. ​

FAVOURITE CLASS:​

Her favourite class was always French, because of the fact that she could already speak it, so she just got to sit with her friends at the back of the room and just sit and chat with them for most of the class. She got perfect grades in this class and never had to do any work for it. It made things easier for her. She really loved that class and despite the fact she rarely paid attention the professor was a family friend and they got along really well.​

LEAST FAVOURITE CLASS:​

Of all the classes they had to do, Dove really hated ettiquette class. She learned it both at home and at this school. While the girl would admit that they are pretty useful and that now she had all of the poise and grace she'd ever need, there were just certain aspects of the class that she thought stupid and just didn't do them. She might occasionally get into trouble for it, but Dove always stood her ground. ​

SKIPPING CLASS?:​

Dove only skipped class twice in her entire time, one time because she didn't feel like actually going, and the second time was because she simply didn't want to. With a near perfect record elsewhere Dove had no problems just lying to the teachers about what the reasoning had been and they had no problems believing her. ​

SCHOOL CLUBS:​

The only two clubs that Dove attended while at this school was Polo, the sport she played since the moment she arrived at the school, and she was also a member of the fashion club, which was essentially just a way for her and a few of her friends to sit around, get some extra credit and talk about the other girls in the school. Dove enjoyed it, not just because she got to talk about the fashion failings of others, but because most if not all of the girls in the club were her friends and this was a way to talk without the prying eyes of teachers. ​

POSITIONS ACHIEVED​

During her time at the school Dove achieved many things, most of them grade wise, but she was also captain of the polo team, and she became head of her house, a role essentially given to the best behaved student, they don't necessarily need to have the best grades just need to be doing very well both in classes and outside of classes.​

WAND​

Knotted 9 1/2 Inch Rigid Pear Wand with Erumpent Hide Core​

WAND DESCRIPTION:​

Flexibility: Rigid: A difficult wand to control and sometimes broken under little force, but powerful in a fight.​

THOUGHTS ABOUT WAND​

As the youngest of her family Dove had been waiting for a wand for years, seeing all of her siblings be able to use their wands while she had to sit and wait. So when Dove finally got her wand, she thought she was going to collapse she felt so happy. She couldn't believe her wand, she loves everything about it. It's beauty, it's length, the strength of it. ​

FIRST THOUGHTS:​

Dove was absolutely blown away by the school. She has in her life spent a lot of time in really grand buildings, but none were as amazing as this one was. She just couldn't get over the way it looked. Dove thought that the attention to detail was stunning and that it was just an amazing school. She was incredibly happy to have gone and she had no idea why any student would ever want to attend any other school, it just seemed insane to her. ​

BEST CLASS:​

Despite the fact that the class is outdoors, Dove's favourite class is herbology, as much as it's probably the least likely class for her to enjoy, Dove really likes being able to get her hands dirty. She likes being able to learn about various plants and such. She likes the teacher and really enjoys everything there is about that class. She is the best in the class at the subject and knows that the class would flounder and fail without her. ​

WORST CLASS:​

Defence Against the Dark Arts is the worst class. Dove really hates duelling, she thinks of it as a pointless thing that usually messes up her outfit. She doesn't know why anyone would like it and she hardly doubts she use most of it. She doesn't know when she'd ever end up in a situation where it would be necessary for her to have use any of the spells she's learned from that class.​
