Declan is a rather shy person. This makes him appear to be quiet, when he is actually quite loud among friends. Declan is easily made nervous, because of his shy personality and tends to grow quiet in large groups. Once comfortable, it's apparent that Declan is a very talkative person, but is careful to not offend people with his opinions. Declan isn't one to fuel conflict, when being yelled at, he will usually just listen quietly and not defend himself because it's just easier to apologise. Declan is easily used because he can feel in debt to people for the smallest things, or he just doesn't realise that he's being used and tends to think that he's doing things of his own free will, when in reality, someone is 'controlling' him. Declan can grow irritated quite easily, but usually attempts to hide it. He hates to appear rude and goes to great lengths to make sure people can't complain about him. However, when his temper is activated, he can be a very stubborn individual and he does not take too kindly to being physically touched by people. He often reacts by pushing the person away or telling them off, something that seems rather out of character for him to those that do not know him.
