APPEARANCE​

HAIR Dannii has light blonde wavy hair. During the summer it lightens even more from the sun. She kept it shoulder length or longer for most of her life, but in the last few years she has cropped it all off into a pixie cut.
EYES Dannii has light blue grey eyes. It is her favorite feature.
HEIGHT Dannii is 5'10". She is a bit self conscious of her height, and will only date men taller then her. When she was younger she was very short for her age.
BUILD Dannii is extremely sturdy. Despite the fact that she's an artist by trade she loves to go for long runs in her animagus form.
STYLE Dannii enjoys wearing blouses, and slacks.
DISTINGUISHING FEATURES Dannii has a few scars here and there and her nose is a bit crooked from when she broke her nose during a quidditch match and she was in such a hurry to get back on the pitch that she didn't let the nurse set it properly before fixing it. The summer before her 7th year at Hogwarts New Zealand Dannii got a tattoo of a tiny heart on the back of her neck. She has meant to have it removed for years, but never got around to it. If you watch closely Dannii also has a weakness in her right arm from a quidditch injury.

A LITTLE DEEPER​

PERSONALITY Dannii is overall a very calm person. She isn't into starting drama for the sake of having drama and doesn't like to put herself out of her comfort zone. She is however very confident when it comes to things she knows she can do. Dannii is kind to most people, unless you do something to upset her. She is also very ambitious but at the same time her laziness stops her from accomplishing her big dreams.
LIKES Quidditch, flying, transfiguration, drawing, and large open spaces.
DISLIKES Potions, cooking, long novels, cramped spaces, and men who can't take a hint.
PATRONUS Dannii's patronus would be a lion, but she has never been able to conjure a full one.
PATRONUS MEMORY The memory she uses to cast her patronus are her time on the Hufflepuff quidditch team.
BOGGART Dannii's boggart is being trapped in a small dark room. Whenever she has a nightmare of this she is usually trapped with the bodies of her loved ones. This is because when Dannii witnessed her mother and father die she was locked in a closet.

FAMILY​

MOTHER

Phoenix Rochester was born on the 16th of February 1979 in New York City New York. Phoenix's mother had run off to America when she was just 17 and was cut out of her families will. However wishing a better life for her daughter Grace made a deal with her father, Lyle, that if Phoenix was sent to Hogwarts in Scotland then Phoenix would be included in the families will. When she turned 11 Phoenix was sent to Hogwarts and was in the Ravenclaw house. She was extremely intelligent and did well in all her NEWT classes, especially potions and herbology. After school Phoenix began working as a potions professor at Drumstrang. She was however fired as she didn't have the same love of dark arts that they taught at the school. Afterwards she opened her own shop that sold various potion supplies. While being busy with her jobs Phoenix managed to give birth to and take care of her daughter Auror, and then Dannii. On the 13th of June 2019 Phoenix was getting ready to tell her family the good news, she was pregnant again however she didn't get the chance. The Merrythought families alarm went off telling them an intruder was almost at the house. Phoenix just managed to hide Dannii before the death eater stormed in. Phoenix and Ambrose fought with everything they had but in the end they were no match for the unforgivable curses.

FATHER

Ambrose Merrythought was born the 15th of July 1979 to Carol and Charles Merrythought. He grew up in Texas on his parents farm. However his mother decided he needed more culture in his life and was sent to Hogwarts in England when the time came. He was a Hufflepuff during his days at school and it was there that he met his future wife Phoenix Rochester. He excelled in History of Magic and Arithmancy. Ambrose went on to become head boy. After school he began work at the Ministry and climbed up the ranks quickly. He soon became undersecretary of the minister. However he still made time for his wife and daughter. When Aurora moved out Ambrose and Phoenix decided to have one more child and they had a daughter named Dannii. The family was very happy living a quiet life in New Zealand until June 13th 2019 when a hired Death Eater, Axel Zhefarovich. Axel was hired by John Seabrook to kill off the Merrythought's so he would be the heir to the Merrythought fortune. However his plan didn't work out when Dannii managed to survive by being hidden by her parents.

SISTER

*taken out of Aurora's biography* Aurora was born to Ambrose and Phoenix Merrythought on the date of 31st October 1999, in New York City, in the state of New York, United States of America. Here she grew up to the age of 11 where she was sent a letter of request to attend Oakvale All Girls Academy of Magic where she gladly attended and was sorted into the Hufflepuff house, where she enjoyed most of her educational life, taking a very significant shine to Astronomy and Potions. She made many friends and later found out that they aren't always what they seem, she kept this quote close to her for the rest of her life so far.

Once she had finished her time at Oakvale she decided to move to New Zealand to get a new start in life, she went to the Ministry for Magic there and got through her Auror exams, but due to the many deaths that took place there, she lost many dear loved ones and soon resigned from her post and decided to go into teaching Astronomy at Hogwart's New Zealand, despite her young, ripe age of 22 she knows quite a lot about the stars and planets, it had always been a pleasure of hers and now she can pass on her information to the next generation of students.

She had once had a partner, who went by the name of "Levi Summersbee who she wished she could spend the rest of her life with, but he died tragically in an attempt to save a child, drowning in a river, the girl was safe, but they couldn't help Levi and he died, Aurora had never really fully recovered from that dreadful experience, as it broke her heart to pieces.

AUNT

Muriel was born on October 21st 1934 to Jillian and Lyle Seabrook. Just a few years later her younger sister Grace was born. Muriel and Grace were given everything they wanted as children but were also taught to value money, and how not all people were as lucky as them. While Muriel was completely happy with her life Grace grew tired of it. When Muriel was sent to Hogwarts she was sorted into Hufflepuff. Muriel did well in school while making many friends. Six years later her little sister arrived at Hogwarts and was sorted into Gryffindor. While Muriel was sad that her baby sister wasn't in the same house she was happy to have her at school anyways. After graduation and leaving her little sister behind Muriel met and married John Smith. However John decided to take Muriel's name because it was more prestigious then Smith. A few years later Muriel found out that her little sister Grace had run off to America to have a baby with an ex death eater named Bartholomew. Muriel was sad to see her little sister go and be taken off the family tree but she was happy for her. 11 years past Muriel and John never had children of their own and Muriel was extremely excited when she found out that her niece would be spending Christmas's with her. The two grew extremely close because Muriel saw a lot of her little sister in young Phoenix. The two stayed in contact even after Phoenix finished school and started a family of her own. When Muriel found out about her death she was devastated and took in Dannii without a second thought. Everything was fine for bit while Dannii came to terms with her parents death but then things start going fuzzy. Muriel started getting sick a lot and her family grew worried. One day Aurora came to take Dannii home with her and get some help for Muriel. However John's true nature came to light as he tried to kill all three women. Aurora managed to defeat him but not before poor Muriel suffered permanent memory loss. She now spends her days at St Mungos waiting excitedly for Dannii to come visit on vacation.

UNCLE

John was born May 15th 1954. His parents didn't care much for him, or any of their children and mostly he was left to fend for himself. John was sent to Hogwarts Scotland with second hand everything and was sorted into Slytherin house. Through out his years at Hogwarts he was teased by his house mates for his poverty. Over the years he grew cold and bitter and began forming a plan to become rich and powerful, then he would show everyone just how wrong they had been. John wooed and married Muriel Seabrook, a rich pure blooded Hufflepuff. The two lived 'happily' for years while John grew to love the good life. However as they grew older John grew greedier and greedier. He was no longer happy with the Seabrook money and power, no he wanted the Merrythought's money also. So he had Phoenix and Ambrose killed and suggested to his wife that they take in Dannii. John began slipping Muriel weak poisons to make her sick and pushed Dannii to find her sister. Finally Dannii found Aurora and she came to take Dannii home with her and get some help for Muriel. However John's true nature came to light as he tried to kill all three women. Aurora managed to defeat him but not before poor Muriel suffered permanent memory loss. John is currently on the run as he owes money to some very powerful people.

HISTORY​

Dannii was born at 6:23 am on November 11th, 2011 too proud second time parents Phoenix and Ambrose Merrythought. For the next few months Phoenix took some time off work at the shop to take care of her precious new baby girl. Her first year on Earth wasn't a very eventful one though. Dannii was just like every other baby, she ate, slept, and made messes. She did say her first words on her first birthday though, mommy, followed soon after by daddy. She also took her first steps a few months afterwards. After many, many discussions Ambrose and Phoenix decided that they wanted to raise Dannii in a bigger house, someplace warmer.

When Dannii was one in and a half her parents moved to a house in Christchurch, New Zealand. The small family was delighted with there new home and soon life continued on normally. Phoenix opened another branch of her store in Brightstone village and Ambrose began working his way up in the ministry once again. Dannii began making friends with the neighborhood children, mostly the boys. Her parents wanted to seem normal so they enrolled Dannii in soccer when she was five, and claimed to be home schooling her. Dannii adored soccer and it soon became the only thing she would talk about. However as she got older Dannii began to take a liking to quidditch and slowly grew out of the soccer phase. When she turned 7 Dannii started showing signs of magical ability. She loved to make things move and hide them on her parents. This was also the age that other children began to not want to hang out with Dannii as much. At first Dannii was inconsolable, no one wanted to be friends with her anymore. But after many talks, and her first ever broom stick Dannii cheered up a little bit. At the age of nine Dannii was helping her mom set the table for the special dinner they had made together. Dannii was rushing to get everything done because Mommy had big news that she wanted to tell her and Daddy after supper. But Dannii never got to hear that news because as soon as her father came home the magical intruder alarm went off. Dannii's mother moved quickly and hid Dannii in the hall closet, which had a few spells cast on it so Dannii would not be found. Dannii watched horrified through the cracks in the door as a very large blonde man blew apart the front door and stormed into the house. Her parents dueled with all the power they had, refusing to use any unforgivable curses. However in the end they were done in by the Cruciatus Curse and the killing curse. When they died so did the magic on the closet and Dannii was no longer trapped. She did however have enough sense to keep herself hidden until the man left. Once he was gone Dannii flew out of the closet and threw herself over the corpses of her parents. She laid there and cried until their bodies grew as cold as stone, she would have stayed longer but one of the neighbors finally noticed the busted down door and came running to see what had happened. Dannii was taken in by her great aunt and uncle Muriel and John. For a year she kept herself locked in her room mourning the death of her parents and remembering the face of the man who killed them. Finally Muriel decided Dannii needed to get out of the house and took her to Brightstone to go school supply shopping. Dannii would not be missing her first year at Hogwarts. Slowly Dannii became more social again and even made a few friends. One day by crazy random happenstance Dannii Met Azerail Varius. Instantly the two began to like each other. After seeing each other a couple times over the summer Dannii decided that the best way to get Azerail to like her back was to dress in goth clothing, like him. It seemed to Dannii that it had worked because they started dating soon afterwards.

Dannii started school and was sorted into her family house, Hufflepuff. Dannii wasn't very pleased by this at first calling it, 'wussypuff' but soon came to accept her house. In her first year a student started a gossip magazine and Dannii was mentioned as being desperate for changing her look for a boy. This caused Dannii to think and she ultimately decided that if Azerail didn't like her for herself then she didn't want him as a boyfriend. After avoiding Azerail for a few weeks she finally decided to see him again at the Halloween feast. Much to Dannii's relief Azerail didn't care how Dannii dressed. School went on normally and Dannii did well in her classes. Except for history of magic of course, which she just passed. Dannii entered her second year of school and things continued on normally. Dannii met a few people every once and a while but never managed to make any friends. For a while Dannii didn't mind that either. In her 3rd year Dannii found out about Azerail's brother being a werewolf, but she didn't mind at all and stayed with his family for Christmas. During her 4th year at school Dannii finally started to grow up a little. Fourth year was also the year they began learning about the unforgivable curses. The combination of these two things made Dannii a very angry girl for most of the year. Through out the year Dannii suffered from flashbacks of her parents death and this caused her claustrophobia to become more pronounced. A little ways through the year Dannii had agreed to go meet Azerail to hang out together. The two hadn't seen each other much that year because Azerail had to study for his OWLs. When Dannii showed up though she saw a girl, who was much prettier then herself, almost kissing her boyfriend. Dannii was heart broken and ran off. Her self esteem took a major hit that day that she still hasn't recovered from. After not talking to Azerail for a long time she finally agreed to let him explain that the girl was a veela. The two things that really got Dannii through her 4th year was beginning animagus training and finally getting on the Hufflepuff quidditch team. Dannii accepted this and the two began dating again. Dannii spent that summer at the Leaky Cauldron so she could start visiting her aunt Muriel everyday. That was the summer they really started to get close again after she lost her memory. That was also the summer Dannii found out she was going a be a prefect. Dannii spent most of her OWL year in switching between prefect duties and studying for OWLs. She managed to pass most of them and continued on to take charms, transfiguration, defense against the dark arts, herbology, and care of magical creatures. When Dannii arrived back at school she learned that she had made quidditch co-captain along with 7th year Sam Prince. Most of the first semester of Dannii's 6th year was spent practicing quidditch and freaking out over the fact that her boyfriend was graduating that year. During her 7th year Dannii was made Head Girl, an honor she felt she didn't quite deserve. Early in her 7th year Azerail broke up with her to protect her from his family, and they two had many awkward visits because he became the healer in charge of taking care of her aunt. Dannii began dating Justin Cliffeton, but things got too serious very fast, and Dannii was scared of getting hurt again. She broke up with Justin after he told her that he loved her, and although the two tried to reconnect a few times over the years they never had what they originally did. Dannii graduated, and became a fully trained animagus.

After graduation Dannii was recruited as the back up beater for her favourite team the Falmouth Falcons. Unfortunately when she was finally called to play in her first game she suffered an injury, and the newly trained team healer damaged her arm further ending her quidditch career. Dannii was heart broken, and lost with what to do with her life now that her dream was over. After a year of sulking she realized she needed a job, and became the Care Of Magical Creatures professor at Hogwarts New Zealand. She held this position for a year before retiring to focus on herself. Dannii took a long time trying to learn how to be herself with no boyfriend, and no school to keep her occupied. She found a passion in designing brooms because it combined her love of art, and quidditch.
