Personality:

Daniella is very unsure when it comes to interacting with people. This is due to the fact that she had grown up knowing that she was different from other kids her age, this knowledge stemmed from her father's stories and understanding that she was a witch that was growing up in a muggle community. This caused her to become very unsure when interacting - afraid that people would discover that she was different from them. She struggled to belong within groups and caused her to become shy when interacting with others. This also led her to her sometimes people-pleasing tendencies in hopes that she could belong. Other than these difficulties however, Daniella is an outgoing child. She loves to go exploring, camping and swimming. She has a very playful nature once she actually gets to know another and is very considerate and sensitive since she doesn't want anyone to feel like they don't belong when they are with her. She is also very independent as she grew up as an only child, mostly without the supervision of her zookeeper father and her surgeon mother. She also has a love for learning and a curious nature - often coinciding with her adventurous side - as she aspires to one day be a healer.​

History:
February 2037 - March 2048

Daniella was born on the 25th of March on the year 2037 as the daughter of Amelia Walker and Eduardo Walker. Young Daniella grew up mostly in the presence of her father as her mother was usually too busy as a surgeon to actually care for her to the point that half her years, she had been raised by nannies and babysitters. She loved spending time with her parents dearly especially whenever her father would tell her stories of the wizarding world - against her mother's wishes of course. Amelia loved her husband and daughter dearly and accepted their heritage for what it was, it didn't mean however that she feared the dangers it could present whether within the wizarding world or being discovered by the muggles. Despite this fear, the Walker family continued to live within Auckland in order to have Amelia keep her job while Eduardo gave up his old job of a dragon tamer in order to become a caretaker in the local zoo. Daniella grew up without problems and mostly as a muggle. Magic was barely if not ever used by her father around the house but she continued to know of its existence, this however caused problems as she grew and was then entered into muggle school. ​

Daniella struggled in school, not really within the academic side but more of on the social side. She struggled because she knew she was different from all the other kids and this made it hard for her to feel like she belonged in school. It made it hard for her to make friends she could trust for fear of when her magic would suddenly manifest. This caused her to slowly and unconsciously isolate herself from class until she was treated as an outcast and was thought of as weird for her shortcomings in being able to hold a proper conversation with anyone. Thanks to this, Dani grew to like reading, playing the piano and camping, all of which had become outlets for her as she grew up alone. All of this culminated into her wish of going to Hogwarts New Zealand - she hoped that she could belong there. Her father, having watched the struggles that she was going through in her younger years agreed immediately. Her mother had not been as easy to convince. Amelia didn't want Daniella to be away from months on end, barely hearing about her daughter and only through letters given that wizards did not use phones within the school grounds. She was also scared of the dangers - of the unknown within the wizarding world. It took months of convincing from Daniella and Eduardo before she finally agreed and Dani was off to Hogwarts.​

Father: Eduardo Walker 43 years old A former dragon tamer stationed in Mexico before he met his wife and eventually moved back to New Zealand. Presently, a caretaker in Auckland Zoo. He is a doting father and loving husband. He is very passionate and loved to tell his wife and daughter stories about the wizarding world - mostly to tease his wife and to bring wonder and spoil Daniella.​

Mother: Amelia Walker 41 years old A neurosurgeon in Auckland Hospital. She is a very intelligent and determined woman - likely where Daniella got those traits from. She is strict but loving and is always worried about her only daughter. She accepted her husband knowing his magic, but she still feared the unknown - especially as a woman of science.​
