Shaula = A subgiant blue star found in the constellation Scorpius. It is the 26th brightest star in the earth's sky.

Dahlia = The name of a beautiful pointed-petal flower that comes it a variety of different colors. Also, Greek for "botanist".

Rana = The Arabian word for "behold".

Capella = The brightest star in the constellation Auriga and the 6th brightest in earth's sky. To the naked eye, Capella is only one star, but it is actually a system of four.


Information Concerning Given Name:

Dahlia's name is quite the mouthful. This is due to the fact that her mother wished for her to have an impressive name.

Not much is know of Dahlia´s father, not even a name, but she´s convinced he was simply a wizard whom Dahlia´s Mother, Lydia had a one night stand with.

Lydia is a witch with a despicable reputation of being a gold digger. She comes from a long line of wizards and witches who have lied about their blood and economical status.

Dahlia was sorted into Slytherin house at age eleven. She feels at home here as her greatest ambition is to escape her mother´s lowly reputation and make something genuine and real of herself.
