After the exciting news on her eleventh birthday, Faeony Shrewsbury's parents started to find some new houses in New Zealand. They wanted to live inside a magical community this time or rather near one and it didn't bother her dad, whose a muggleborn. The mum and daughter were very happy from both her acceptance to the prestige Hogwarts School and the moved to the little island of New Zealand. Faeony's mum, a celebrated chef, decided that she can have her own restaurant where everything can be fresh daily like seafood. While her dad, a computer engineer, can simply work at home. After months of searching for the perfect house while living in an apartment, the Shrewsbury finally found the perfect house for the three of them, modern but not that big and has short walk access to the nearest magical community called Obsidian Harbour.

Wales would always be Fae's home but she has to hug it out as her new home would be New Zealand from now on. Upon resting and moving for a week, the family had time to visit Obsidian Harbour and hand in hand, they enter the cobble street of the fancy harbour. Faeony was always curious of her surroundings and in a second, the young girl was lost upon running to a pet shop. Fae looked everywhere but none she recognized as her parents, although, they were easy to spot as her mum's shiny blonde hair glimmer in the sun but that too was nowhere. She walked further, hoping to spot them.

It was Xavier Mackintosh's third week in New Zealand and so far, he thought it was ten times better than where he was from. Okay, so he missed home a little but that was because his siblings were there. He didn't exactly miss the weather. Xavier had often thought what it was like to live on some type of island - he never imagined to actually live in one. Not that he was complaining, in fact quite the opposite. He was grateful his aunt and uncle had a house big enough for Xavier to live in, and he was so excited to see his cousins again. He wondered whether they'd changed or if they were as he remembered them. This time, as he visited Obsidian Harbour, his aunt was with him as last time she had told him to go get his own supplies because she wanted him to learn to be independent from a young age, so that he would get used to navigating his way around. Normally, Xavier had a good sense of direction and a great memory which was definitely useful, he had helped his family get home once in Scotland when they couldn't find their way back home and it was getting dark.

But now, all that was on the boy's mind was how much there was to explore here, in the harbour alone, never mind the entire city. As he followed his aunt through the crowded streets, Xavier squinted as he spotted a mop of brown hair, a small figure who looked like she was looking for something. Xavier stopped short, grabbing his aunt's arm and pulling her behind him. Maybe the girl needed help? She didn't look like her parents were around, though he was sure they had to be somewhere.
"Excuse me," he said politely, hoping the girl would notice him. He ignored his aunt's plea to leave the poor girl alone. "Are you lost?" If anything, Xavier wanted to help her, he was wondering if he sounded a little rude though. It wasn't often that you would find a stranger trying to help you, it might look suspicious so he didn't blame her if she refused and walked away.
