The third bludger had hit April hard, but thankfully everything after was a bit of a blur. She remembered looking over at October, remembered being taken away from the field by Hospital Wing staff and remembered her dad quickly catching up with them. As annoying as it could be to have her dad hovering over her sometimes, April couldn't help but be grateful he was here in moments like this. But now she had been patched up by the hospital wing staff and resting on a bed, and she was starting to get antsy. They had no alternate seeker for Hufflepuff, so she had no idea who had replaced her. She wanted to know. They had fixed the damage the bludgers had done now, so why couldn't she just go find out? Her father was currently speaking to the nurse, probably asking him about Quidditch protective gear or something, and April was bored lying here by herself. Hopefully someone would come visit her soon with news of the match.

October almost didn't remember anymore what it felt like for her heart not to be thumping, she had been running on adrenaline for so long. She had abandoned her broom on the castle steps, sprinting up the stairs as fast as she could. She barely felt the aches and twinges in her tired muscles as she pelted along the corridor and slammed through the hospital wing doors, relief rushing through her when she saw April sitting up in bed looking much better. "April!" She cried, fresh tears of relief running down the dried up tracks on her face as she bolted over to her sister's side. "Are you okay?"

April sat up as the doors slammed open. She spotted her sister and immediately blurted out. "Did we win? Did you win? What HAPPENED?!" She asked, swinging her legs off the bed to get up as if that would get her the information faster. Halfway through the motion, she realized October was crying. "Why are you crying? Did you get hit too? They'll fix you up in no time! Dad's here too." She gestured vaguely at where Matt was talking in the nurse's office. She hoped October wasn't very hurt. Her three bludgers had hurt a lot, but thankfully magic could fix most of the damage really quickly. Even broken bones only took a second.
