Celeste Nightray had never actually had a boyfriend in all her twenty eight years. There were many, many reasons for this, the least of all was the fact that she was the youngest Nightray of her generation and by extension, she was the designated mother to the Nightray children. Celeste had never had a child of her own and the way things were going, she would never have a child. She had plans to rectify this however and it was part of the reason she was now on her way to meet with her boyfriend of two months. She had met Austiin by accident one day on a stroll through New Zealand. He had been in a relationship at the time, but she had been quite happy just to have a friend; someone to talk to that wasn't in any way, associated to her family. Austiin had been the logical choice, he didn't seem to care about her eccentricities and she didn't care about his. They got along quite well and so when he had contacted her out of the blue two months ago, asking if she wanted to go out for coffee, there was no way she was going to say no. She liked Austiin, she was attracted to Austiin and now he was single. She had been a little shocked that he had called her, surely there were many other women, or men for that matter, that he could have dated, that weren't quite as weird as she was. For Merlin's sake, she asked the kids to call her 'Madam Red' a nickname she had for more then one reason. Still, who was she to complain really. If Austiin wanted to date her, she was hardly going to tell him no.
Celeste smiled at Austiin across the table as their food was brought to them. It had been really sweet, he had picked her up from her hotel and brought her to this beautiful restaurant. She rarely dined outside her home and even when she did it was not usually such a formal place. She was glad that he had asked her out tonight, for she had a question that she needed to ask, it was going to be quite strange surely, but she knew he was a man with an expansive family, perhaps he would grant her one request. Then, she would see about his old relationship. Celeste knew not the circumstances of the break, but what she did know was that Austiin would be eternally unhappy until he was able to reattach the part of him that he so craved, in this case, one Cameron Freedman. Celeste had met the man only once, so it stood to reason that she did not know him. She did however know enough of the man before her to determine the type of man he may have attracted. "I must thank you again for inviting me out tonight. It is not often that I attend such places as these." Celeste reached forward for her glass of red wine, whilst she was not sure of the year, she at least knew the name; Familia Eguren Teso La Monja, it was pressed and bottled in Spain as far as she knew. Sipping it slightly, Celeste stopped to smell the fragrance and again inclined her head at her companion. "You certainly do pick your wines well, Austiin. Which year is this?" She was now quite curious and simply had to know. Now that she was free to do as she chose, learning was something that she wanted to do often.
