Andie was once again dragged into Obsidian Harbour to 'Hogwarts Shop', it was her mothers new name (or excuse) for shopping for Andie's school supplies. When in fact, what happened most days was, Andie was dragged into the town and then left outside the shops while her mother socialised and haggled for fairer prices. Andrea hated doing a 'Hogwarts Shop', so instead, today, Andie walked off in a mood as her mother left her outside to be on bag duty. The bags were left spilling on the street outside yet another clothing store.

Andrea walked out of the town and began to make her way up the harbour. The cool winter breeze stung her cheeks, causing the very tip of her nose to change to a light shade of red, the only colour on Andie's pale complexion. Andrea stood at the barrier of the harbour and looked out at one of the ships in the far distance. However the ship didn't hold her attention for long, few things did. Instead, Andie pulled out her worn and torn, hacky sack. She threw it into the air and caught it with her foot, and then in quick rhythmic movements, she bounced the sack off the side of her converse continuously. Andie could see at the corner of her eyes that she was getting confused stares from the passing wizards, but she was honestly too busy counting to care.

Oscar had been staying in the harbour area while he and his sister got there suuplies. Oscar had finished days ago but still he was in Obsidian, waiting for his sister. Today Oscar had grabbed his bike and headed out. The air made his hair stand back as he rushed past everything. He was annoyed that he wasn't going to be allowed to cycle around the school or out if he really couldn't take it any longer. Oscar was heading up the harbour when he noticed a girl, herself kicking a ball up with her converse. Oscar glanced down his own. They were a dark blue colour, his that matched the faded jeans he wore and simple grey t-shirt. Oscar smiled as he recongised the girl. Oscar cycled closer.

"Boo!" the ex-dancer exclaimed.

[Sorry it's so lame. It's 4.15am. Thank god I don't have school.]

"Boo", Andie looked up quickly, letting her hacky sack drop to the ground, it came from Oscar who was cycling towards her. Andie glanced at him briefly before looking down at her hacky sack, "Look what you made me do!" She said with mock annoyance and placed her slender hand on her hip. She had to admit that not all of that was 'mock annoyance', she was doing so well keeping the bag up in the air. Andrea stared at Oscar as he came closer, not having seen him in quite a bit of time. "So, did you just cycle over here to make me lose my hacky sack or did you have something else in mind?" She asked with a slightly cheeky tone to her usually monotone voice.

(Thats alright, you're excused :p xD )

Oscar smiled as he noticed that he made Andie drop the little thing that she was doing. Oscar had enjoyed he last tine they had been together. Oscar had since then not seen her too often. It had mainly been because Oscar had been busy quitting school. He had finally been able to close te door on the dance school. Oscar was happy about this, he hated the school. Oscar stopped his bike just in front of her. He stuck out his Tongue to her slightly. Knowing that if he had really interrupted her then she would not have stayed to talk to him. His experience with Lily, his sister, had dictated if a person was annoyed by another the smart thing to do was punch and walk away. Neither of these had happened so Oscar continued to just smile at her.

"I just came over here to make you lose it of course." Oscar said in his usual quiet voice that was lower most. He was not a loud person generally. "You can't have been that good at it anyway. How many had you done?"

Andrea removed her hand from her hip to fold her arms over her chest, "Not that good at it? Please, Oscar. I practically invented this game." She explained with the smallest of smiles. "I was on thirty one before you came along.." She answered as she looked down at her hacky sack once more. She bent down and picked it up and quickly waved it in front of his face, "Why don't you try it since you're being so smart." Andrea challenged, her grey eyes filling with a fiery excitement, Andrea fed off challenges. Being competitive was something that seemed to come natural to her, as did winning - most of the time. "Well come on then.." She said while she held the hacky sack in the centre of her open palm in front of Oscar, waiting for him to take it from her.

Oscar shook his head. He doubted she was on 31. Oscar looked at the little ball with a smile. "You're asking someone who lives for sports if he could do this." Oscar said. He put down his bike and took a few steps away from it. Oscar was the type to prove himself. He didn't like to not try, to not show that he could do it. Even if at times he actually couldn't Oscar met her eyes, and smiled smirkishly.((<--And I just made up a word)) He took the ball from her and balanced it onto his foot. Even though Oscar was no dancer. He was good at sports. So balancing the ball upon his feet was easy. With a small kick, Oscar began to bounce it. He was counting in his head, his dark hazel brown eyes staring down at the ball intently as he focused himself. Oscar did not know what Andie was going on about, this was simple. Easy. Nothing that the little ex-dancer could not handle. Oscar looked up for a moment and smiled at Andie, in a I-am-so-better-at-this-than-you smile. And he clearly was. Oscar switched the foot he was bouncing the ball on. Now he was just showing off. Oscar knew he was better than her, but then again, he was only at 25 and he knew she might try to put him off.

Andrea watched - with mild shock - as Oscar skillfully bounced the ball in a continuous rhythm. She folded her arms across her chest as she counted each bounce, her eyes losing any form of excitement, returning back to their pale grey colour. As he reached 25, Andrea rolled her eyes stubbornly and unfolded her arms, "Yeah yeah yeah, beginners luck." She said with great annoyance and kicked his converse hard enough to make the hacky sack fall to the ground. She wouldn't allow him to beat her, no one bet her. Especially not Oscar. Especially not while she was standing there. "Beginners luck is all it was. Don't get too cocky." She warned him, stopping herself from letting a small smile spread across her lips as she picked up her hacky sack from the pavement and shoved it into her jacket pocket. She definitely needed to practice that bloody thing, apparently it wasn't a rare skill to possess.

Right enough, Andie kicked Oscar's foot so hard that he lost his concentraion and the little ball fellto the ground. Oscar pretended to be angry when really his foot was in quite a strange amount of pain. This girl had a hard kick. Oscar massaged his foot while hopping on the spot. He gave a small chuckle as Andie said it was beginers luck. Oscar knew differently. It was because he was better than her. He laughed at this thought he wasn't often one to brag. But it he considered himelf quite good at anything remotely sporty. Oscar shook his head. "It wasn't beginners luck, you just are afriad I'll be better at it than you." Oscar said mockingly. He looked at her with a smile. He wondered how she'd managed to break off from her family. She had seemed pretty wary the first time. Oscar on the other hand had little boundries. Or any for that matter. He really did what he wanted when he wanted. Most days he just left the school and went to Brightstone. Or only went a little out from the school, tothe local greenry. When had a little stream he was sure only he knew about.

"What do you want to do?" Oscar asked interested tonsee if she had to be anywhere, so that he knew if he could spend time with his friend. Before school started.

Andrea watched with a pleased smile as Oscar hopped on one foot from her kick, she did have a good amount of strength in her foot and a lot of the time, she took advantage of it. "Oh thats what it was, was it?" Andie asked rhetorically, "You wish. I could kick your sorry butt anyday at it." Andie said with a simple shrug and a short laugh before turning to walk down the harbour, hoping that Oscar would follow her. When he asked what she wanted to do, she pursed her lips in thought. She wanted to do something fun, something exciting too. But nothing came to mind. Which was quite odd for Andie as usually she always came up with fun and exciting things to do.

"I dunno.." She trailed off, "We can do anything but go near the shopping area. Man, I've spent the past week in there." Andie moaned, even the thought of doing more shopping made her feel physically ill. "Speaking of which? Did you get your wand yet?" She added quickly. Andie, being muggleborn, found that buying her wand was one of the most incredible experiences ever! She still didn't know a lot about the wizarding world but she was up for finding out everything she could about it.

Oscar knew he'd be better at the little ball game, but as Andie began to walk away he picked up his bike and walked beside her. Oscar nodded along. He too was quite sick of the shops. He'd spent too much following Lily around the shops. Just being there to hold her bags and stand silent. Provide more money if needed. Oscar hated shopping. He'd barely gone shopping for himself. He'd have to fit in his own shopping while lily was doing some else. Oscar knew it was best that he was sat close by while she shopped. It meant he didn't have to be at school and it limited Lily's budget. Oscar nodded. He did get his wand. It had been on of the best experiences that he had ever gone through. Having this stick of power made Oscar for once feel important. Like he was actually worth something.

"Yeah, I did. Really cool wasn't it." Oscar said with an excited smile. "what about you? And no shopping Lily has been driving me crazy with it."

"Yeah it was pretty cool." Andrea said mirroring Oscar's smile, "I'm still pretty dumbstruck by the idea of it..." Andie trailed off as her attention was caught by a windsurfer. She didn't know if Oscar was new to this whole wizard thing aswell nor did she really care. It didn't bother her that she might be the only person in the school who hadn't a clue about magic. Although, she guessed she could do with someone to explore with? She looked back at Oscar with a small smile before quickly looking ahead once more.

"Lily? Whose Lily?" Andie asked. Being nosey was definitely one of her weaknesses, but she couldn't help it most of the time. It didn't really matter whose company she was with, shopping in general just drived her crazy. She couldn't stand it, anyone who knew Andie knew she had the attention span of a fly and so, browsing for clothes or looking for school supplies amused her for just a couple of seconds before she came incredibly bored.
