Hamish had been preoccupied since the valentines dance. He had dark eyes and a mischevious smile stuck dancing through his mind... well, if he was being honest, since they'd first met. He sighed, and walked down to the kitchens. He wasn't sure what it was he was even making yet, and just started going through ingredients. When nothing else in the world made sense, food did. He let his mind shift, his confusion and tangled emotions fading away as he looked through the things available to him. This was definitely an amazing kitchen- there was so much here, everything was so fresh. He started humming softly, gathering what spoke to him. Something with heat, but it needed some sweetness... He let himself run through the cookbook in his mind, trying to decide what it was he needed.

Caleb hadn't expected to be so charmed by Hamish, and yet he found himself taking the short trip up to the kitchens to meet up with him. Maybe because he was so different than Louis, shy and uncertain compared to the Gryffindor's unrelenting ego. It was nice not to feel like he was always competing. Besides he was graduating soon. He deserved to enjoy it. The kitchen was pretty much empty as he walked in and took in the space. He expected it to be filled with house elves but he was pleasantly surprised to see they would actually have some privacy. A rare thing to find here. He spotted Hamish off to the side looking deep in thought. A devilish grin crossed his face as he tip toed the rest of the way and slide behind the younger boy. Quickly, before he could turn around, Caleb put his hands over Hamish's eyes. "Guess who?" he whispered into his ear.

Hamish jumped when suddenly there were hands on his glasses, and he tensed, freezing up. It wasn't his brothers voice, and it took him several long beats of silence for him to realize who it was, and he wans't sure if it was embarrasment or something else that made him blush. "...Caleb?" He managed, his voice a little higher than he meant it to be. He cleared his throat and tried to hold still.

Caleb chuckled and removed his hands before moving to stand beside Hamish instead. "Lucky guess." he said playfully and elbowed the other boy gently. "Unless...you were expecting someone else?" he wondered out loud with a raised eyebrow. They had agreed to meet up but maybe Caleb wasn't the first person Hamish had enticed down to the kitchens with the promise of a treat.

Hamish laughed shyly. "Just my brother sometimes, but he's not as fun," He tried to flirt lightly, moving to set his things down. "What brings you down here?" He asked, distracted from his thoughts. Maybe Caleb wanted some snacks? "Looking for some food?" He gave Caleb a shy smile, ignoring the stuttering of his heart.

"Oh well that's good to hear." Caleb said when Hamish said he was more fun than his brother. He could say the same thing but he knew twins tended to be a bit different than normal siblings. He grinned when the other boy asked why he was there, as if the answer wasn't obvious. "Partially." he said in a playful tone. "It might depend on what you;re going to make me." he said as he leaned closer to the Ravenclaw. "And what you think of this.." he whispered until their lips were very very close to each other.

-godmod approved-

Hamish was about to answer, to say he could make anything really, but then Caleb was close- much, much closer than Hamish had been expecting. His breath caught, his heart skipped in his chest. He didn't have an answer to what Caleb said. Instead, he just leant in, closing the rest of the space between them and kissing the slytherin shyly.
