Raymond Mandy had seen himself in the Library more than he had seen Rayvnn. She was supposed to be the intelligent one. He thought that she was not adjusting to Hufflepuff well. His sister was a bit sensitive. But, females were emotional. He lived with two, so he believed that he knew what it was like dealing with conflicting emotions. He and Ray were still growing however, so he was not going to act as if he had seen everything just yet. Raymond opened his textbook for History of Magic. He had skipped his first class, so he felt kind of bad. Raymond was going to try his best to do well in this school. He was easily discouraged, so he felt like it was going to be hard for him to do well. Even as the older twin, Ray was always more mature and intelligent than Raymond ever had been. He wanted that to end. But, he was nervous. Now, Ray Ray did not often get nervous. When he did, it was something serious. He was trying to beat his own sister at her own game! Raymond hated sitting down for long periods of time still. He moved his legs wildly while he read the first page of his textbook. He hated plants.

Asa Romanes made his way into the library, unknown of what he wanted to do. It was strange, being in the same house as his sister, Isabella. She just had a son, and was the first to be married and with a kid. He hoped that he would not turn out like that. Perhaps the reason why he was sorted into Slytherin was because the man that raised him, Collineus Cardosi, was a Slytherin too. Maybe some of that rubbed off on him. Asa wanted to do well in his classes, but right now, he wanted to find something to read. He walked into the library, to look for a textbook over Herbology. He needed to get a little ahead in that class since he fell asleep every time he walked into that warm place. He took one from the shelf, and he walked toward the tables. He heard something, like something was flailing around. He looked to the side and noticed someone. He raised an eyebrow at the boy as he seemed to be reading, but his legs sure were not. He asked, "Are you okay?" He clutched the book of plants to his side, as he waited for the other boy to answer him. He looked familiar. Perhaps they were in the same house and year, thus sharing a dormroom?

Raymond was not getting anywhere in the book. He felt like just leaving it on the table and walking away. He knew that he should have stuck to being an obnoxious older brother. It was too much work to try and be the smart one in the family. He heard someone ask if he was okay. He looked up and saw hope. This person was in his house and year! He could help him! Ray Ray stood up waved his hand so that he would come closer. "Help me! I don't understand Herbology!" he whispered. The boy had a Herbology book in his arms as well. This was going to work out well. At least, the first year hoped that it did. Sometimes, he did not look very friendly, or he was intimidating. He was sure that this kid was not easily intimidated. Males should never be easily intimidated.

Asa wasn't sure what was happening in front of him, but all he knew was that this kid was waving him down and wanting him to come closer, before asking him for help with Herbology. Herbology was relatively easy, but he wasn't a fan of the professors. Asa approached the other first year before taking a seat down next to him. He put his Herbology book down, opened the page to the right chapter before asking, "So, what is it you don't understand about a class all about plants and pumpkins?" Asa didn't know what the big deal was, but hell, Asa would help someone if needed. Asa waited for the other boy to respond, not entirely sure on how to interact with other students. Asa spent time with his uncle, and other people that were merely adults. Asa virtually had no experience with kids his own age. That was a sad childhood.
