It is pretty funny but I had my dad look into your last name. So, if your mom is who I think it is, did you know that your mom and my dad dated before he got married to my mom? Fascinating, isn't it? Assuming you are understanding everything that I am writing.

I know my handwriting is not the best in the world. I can only read Bulgarian, Russian and English, so don't slip any words in here without translating because I don't know a lot of languages, even a handful of words here and there.

What is it like at your school? Things here are boring. I still don't know why I was given the prefect badge.

You have, how to say, a very interesting family. I think it is cool you found so much, because my Papa, he change the family name with much effort. It was a whole thing.

Of course, I tell my parents all about meeting you. I am sure my Papa, he almost had… how you say… a nerve burst? My Maman - mum - she find it very funny. Her name is Scarlet, maybe your papa knows? My parents went to your school. It would be really funny because, meeting you, it must be a strange destiny, non? So random! Nearly impossible!

And well, it is not my fault that English is so difficult. I try my best you know? Maybe you should start to learn French because you know many languages, oui?

School is… school? I don’t know. I want to say it is same like other school but I do not try other schools? Maybe it is more, uh, fancy than yours? I think it feels more fancy. Your school, it looks very old sometimes. Here, we have ice sculptures, so… fancy! Maybe you will find it more fun here than your dark castle.

And I don’t know also why they give you the prefect badge, you are very funny.

Oh yes, he used to be an Arai from what I was told. Very backward family if you dig deep enough from the mother's side. My dad can have that effect on people. So he tried to set a muggle-born on fire when he was in third grade, and now he's a bad guy, go figure. Scarlet, yes, that was my dad's ex girlfriend! It did seem impossible considering that you aren't even going to school here.

English is hard. I will give you that. I had to learn Bulgarian because of my dad's side of the family. It was easier than English. I don't think I'd want to learn French. Or any other languages. I cannot keep up with certain things like that. My twin, maybe.

Ice sculptures. That is interesting. Our school isn't very dark. Sure we have a lot of deaths, but it is a bit bright.
