[name] Colton Dalek Kovac
[etymology] The name Colton means a dark settlement and leaves the impression of a good-looking and well-liked man. While these are sort of true, he is good-looking. His middle name is Dalek and it means to fight afar, which gives off the impression of a strong man. The first and middle name together, it would suit his character. His last name is Kovac and it means a forger or blacksmith which is what people in Slovakia did, give out last names according to their jobs which is where this name originates from.
[origin] Colton is the first in his family ever to be named, and who had given him the name was his father. His middle name comes from a nickname that his adopted father had, and then his last name is neither of his parents, but of his adopted parents. They were an unknown blood in the wizarding world, but the majority of them ended up in Slytherin. They are all full-blooded Slovakian. Not much is known about the original Kovacs, except that they are mostly nice people, though most had tempers. They sided with neither the Dark Arts or the Aurors, though when the Dark Lord invaded their house during the first war, they did not fight against him, seeing that it would be pointless, and did whatever the Dark Lord had asked. The current Kovacs are mainly Healer's in Slovakia.
[nicknames] Colton only has one nickname, and that is Colt. It is a shortening of his name, and he could not remember the first person that has ever called him that.

[personality] Colton has a very quiet personality, but he is also always willing to help someone in need, and always putting family and patients before himself. He studies on his free time, and after recent events, he is starting to get up and out of his shell to reveal a humorous and fun side to him. [dislikes] Colton dislikes anything that is too loud, such as fireworks and thunderstorms. He does not like people that sleep around with everything that walks, mainly people like Kalina. He does dislike it when people try to put their noses into other's lives. He hates it when people are rude and uncaring to their loved ones and also does not like it when a mother cannot care for her own child. He doesn't like the fact that some parents give children up for adoption because of stupid choices. He does not like liars and he does not like people that pretend to be something that they are not.

[good habits] One of Colton's good habits is that he locks the door behind him, no matter where he goes, and he also keeps great hygiene.
[bad habits] Colton naturally shuts people out of his life before he gets too attached, and when he studies he often forgets everything else as well.
[strengths] Colton has many strengths, most of which rely on his intelligence. One of his strengths happens to be his will to do whatever it takes to get something right. One of his strengths is his feelings as well because even though he does not like to show them or behave on them, once he feels that he needs to do something, he has to do it, whether it is to go to the end of the earth to protect them. Colton also has a strength to find what is wrong with someone and heal them, whether it is a physical pain or an emotional one. Also one of Colton's strengths are potions and charms as well. Though he is unknown of this, he is exceptionally good in Dark magic as well. Colton is stronger when he is emotionally angry than when he is calm. However, pushing him to that limit is also another task.
[weaknesses] Colton has many other weaknesses. One of his weakness is his fear to emotions and how blind that they are to poor choices. Colton is also weak to those that he is close to, as he would be willing to put his life on the line for them. Colton would do anything for them, and would do what it takes to protect them. Colton generally puts everything before himself, often neglecting his own health for others' sakes. One of his other weaknesses is fear to tell others how he feels, whether it would be health wise, or how he feels about someone. Colton also has a weakness to Transfiguration as well as certain hexes and charms. Though it was some things that Colton would not even want to try. He also is more defensive than offensive unless he is mad. Colton also has a weakness in magical creatures and knowledge of them.

The two did not hit it off so well, and then she ran into him while he was out getting a coffee. The two went out on their first date, and ended up getting drunk, and sleeping together on April 7th, 2026. Colton was surprised that she stuck around. They continued to date for a while, before he asked her on her birthday to be his steady girlfriend. It was a while until they discovered that they were pregnant with their first child. However Gabrielle had a miscarriage. This one seemed to bring along multiple that had fallen right afterward. It was putting a strain on their relationship, and when Gabrielle demanded him to tell his feelings when he didn't think it was time, and he was scared that he would lose her, she broke up with him. Colton was left alone, for three long months, before he found out that Kalina was messing with his letters to her and hers to him. He found out that she was pregnant with their son, and he rushed to her. He confessed that he did feel strongly for her, but it wasn't the time to tell, and asked her to move back in with him. After Gavin Castiel Kovac was born, the two were a happy couple, and a strong family. After Gavin was five months old, he asked Gabrielle if she loved him, and she said it, and that night, he slipped a ring onto her finger. They became engaged the next morning. So far, both are enjoying their life as an engaged couple. In December of 2032, they managed to get married while she was currently a month along in pregnancy. She did not want to worry him, but he already suspected it. Colton still cares for her, even overseeing her visits to the hospital to get checked up on their daughter.

[history]
Colton Dalek Kovac was born from the affair of two happy married couples, however the moment he was born, he was given away to the Kovac family whom could not have a baby. Rather than getting the love and care that Colton deserved, his adopted parents did not pay much attention to him because of how quiet and how unlike other children he was. Colton refused to go outside and play. The parents taught him some English but that was about all that they contributed to his life. They had not realized just how hard it was to keep up with a child. Colton was lucky enough to have the type of mind that advanced at suck a young age, where he had learned to take care of himself by reading books and not bothering his parents with anything. His real parents wrote to him on occasion where he had met some of his siblings briefly. However the contacts stopped the moment that Colton received his Hogwarts letter to attend the school. Excited that he would be learning magic, his adopted parents had taken him to Diagon Alley where he had bought his school supplies. They were going to have a student that was learning magic in their home unknown to the fact that his blood was pure. After shopping was over, it was time to go on board the Hogwarts Express. There he was seated with whom he did not know, but it was none other than Adrian Rowan, his half-brother. At first neither recognized each other, but once they were sorted and the last names were called, the two brothers knew each other at once. Colton did not mind that he was going to the same school as Adrian. However the other brother was not as easygoing as Colton. Colton was sorted into Slytherin and Adrian in Gryffindor, thus where the rivalry began. Colton also befriended a girl named Kalina Engel as well during his time in Hogwarts. However, he would not talk to others yet he would assist others when time came. Adrian tried to outdo Colton in everything however that failed. The moment their fifth year came, both brothers were named Prefects of their respected houses. Colton had not beaten Adrian but Colton did not see what the issue was with the boy. Colton continued doing what he wanted to do in school which was learn as much as possible. Colton also became really close to Kalina during his older years, and both best friends decided to sleep with each other. Then when Colton woke up from the night, Kalina was gone, and he was left alone. During that school year, Colton avoided everyone that asked him what happened to her because he did not care. She had become the local community chest, and Colton hated that she had become something so low. Colton did not let anyone close to him after that because he did not feel like he needed any other friends just to have them use him for his body. During his seventh year, Colton managed to grab the Head Boy position in school, and he led the school somehow. Adrian was very displeased that Colton was suddenly on everyone's minds. Everyone wanted to be his friend, and everyone wanted him to talk to them. Colton shunned everyone though, and somehow became the coldest student in the school. After graduation, Colton started studying in Healing, seeing as his desire to help others did not dwindle at all even after his rough history at school. He moved out of his parents' house. He started studying completely, and before he knew it, years had passed. He had become a midwife, and a basic healer, however he started working on being a potion and medicine maker, thus studying for that and his life span was shorting because he was exhausting himself with all the studies that he was doing. But then there was one change in his life, and that was when this blonde patient came in the office with an appointment, upset and Colton treated her like he normally would, but there was a downside. She was horribly mean. However things had a change for the better when they had met up again after the appointment which he had found surprising. She seemed a lot nicer, and then he actually asked her out on a date, coming out of his shell. Something about her caused him to do that, and he just went along with it. Thankfully she had said yes.

The first date came which happened to have fallen close to his birthday. He met up with her at a nice restaurant, where both parties actually ordered some long island ice tea unknown that it was alcoholic. Colton was a lightweight and he became drunk. Gabrielle also became drunk, and that night both had slept together. That was not all the changes that he had had. He had moved to New Zealand and also allowed Ariah Rowan to move in with him after losing their father. Colton really started liking Gabrielle during the time where he was training her to be a healer. And after a while, she became a healer and decided to break the news to him saying that she needed a pregnancy test which he did not take very well at all. Colton and Gabrielle then proceeded to pleasure each other in his office which was not too surprising at all for the two. Colton had a special night planned when he wanted to ask out Gabrielle which would be on her birthday but then she became sick, and he took care of her the best he could. Though still, his plans did not fail as they began to date on the same day, furthering their relationship of friendship into something special. Colton could not be happier. And then they were invited to one of her sister's weddings where he had met many of her siblings except a few. Colton also made an impression on quite a few people. During the time with Gabrielle was the best the former Slytherin had ever had. He proceeded to date her as well as meet up with his old rival, Adrian Rowan. Colton found out that Adrian had a double life and seemed to really like a muggle as well. It was during the confrontation where Colton discovered that Gabrielle was pregnant with their first baby, which would have been a baby girl. However, because of Gabrielle's body, she lost the child. Not too long after the loss of their child, none other than Kalina Engel came back into Colton's life when she wanted him back and he refused to have her because he was happy with Gabrielle. No matter what, he wanted to be with her and did not know that he had fallen in love with her. And then one day, Ariah decided that it would be best to say that Gabrielle was pregnant again, and Colton was happy that they could have another chance but there was the thing with her illness, and losing the baby which he did not want her to do through. He wished that she would not get pregnant because she always seemed to be setting herself up to be getting hurt in the long run. After losing that child, Colton and Gabrielle were attacked by a dark couple named Hades and Etoile, Hades being related in the family that he needed to go question about when it came to Ariah's arranged marriage. Colton also had to go to Gabrielle's father's house because her father died, something he knew all to well about because his own father was dead. Colton was there with her to support her, and did not really notice many of the people there. Alyssa had also fallen pregnant and Colton for once felt the envy and jealousy because Gabrielle really wanted a baby and she could never have one, which he eventually started blaming himself because he would not be able to give Gabrielle a good enough child to have in her womb. Months had passed and then it was time when Gabrielle had asked Colton if she loved him, and Colton just could not answer her because he thought that she did not believe in love, and him saying yes would have ended their relationship. And then there was the thought of him saying no on a change that she could love him. But silence was enough, and the two broke up. Ever since then, Colton stopped taking care of himself, and he even stopped with everything that he found enjoyable. Kalina had come back to try to take him back, and she was the reason why Colton could never contact her, and he found her that she was pregnant too. Colton was willing to do everything he could to find her and get her help, and he actually threw Kalina out of the office, something that the Healer never thought that he would have done in a lifetime, which was slightly injure a girl. After he returned to Gabrielle, they patched things up, and their firstborn son was born. After that, Colton slipped an engagement ring onto her finger, and they were engaged. To this day, they are living out happily. Eventually, they started to plan for their wedding, and then came up with some issues at their wedding. Once they were married, they went on their honeymoon while also mentally preparing for the worst in their daughter, in case she did not survive. But in August 2033, a healthy baby girl was born.​
