The sun had set as James and Kiera began walking through the park, in his hands were the jackets they had been wearing since while it was warm in New Zealand it was definitely cold in London where they had just visited his parents and other relatives for the usual Family Christmas Party. "Maybe we should get a dog" James said thinking about it, "I hear they can be very useful at detecting trouble and could be useful at the home" James said as he held his wife's hand, the problem with having a dog of course was they had several homes and therefore would be a problem having to take the dog everywhere they went. Tomorrow would be James and Kiera's official anniversary he of course could never forget that as he looked into his wife's honey eyes and smiled. He had taken a few months off from Quidditch however still had to leave her every now and then for a couple practices so that he wouldn't loose his skills. It was something that James was glad to do for his wife and his child.

Kiera Potter walked through the streets of New Zealand in her red christmas dress. They had just arrived back from the Potters' Christmas party. They had both attended last year and the year before after their secret wedding. It was hard to believe they had been married for almost two years. It had been an eventful two years, or three if you counted the articles and drama with Alex. Kiera looked down at her hand, entertwined with her husband's. She smiled up at him, completely happy. She was two months along and doing just fine. James had taken time off despite her protests which meant she was getting to see him more than she usually did. Kiera couldn't help but think that her life was perfect at this moment.

Kiera laughed as James mentioned getting a dog. It was such a random thought. "I think I might like a dog." she said in agreement with him. "Just nothing too big or its going to be the one walking me." she said laughing again. The brunette grinned up at her husband. "What kind of dog were you thinking about?" she asked him curiously.

It was growing darker and darker in Takarokaro Park. The very place where Lolita Silverback had requested Cordelia to assist Leah Winters without her knowing, was the place where she would be apprehending the Potters and ensuring the younger woman would pass her little test. She found it all very hilarious, considering that these would be the same judgment's she would use against her minions when she finally received all the power and kicked the Silverbacks off of their pedestal. She smirked, and stifled a loud chuckle as the adorable little couple held hands and trotted through the park. When stalking prey, it never failed to amuse her that the victims were completely unaware that soon they would be killed.

Cordelia Doyle pulled out her wand, and suddenly jumped out of the tree she had been hiding in. The lovely couple had their backs faced away from her, and so she walked closer until she was almost in front of them and said, "James and Kiera Potter. The enthusiastic married couple... Will you survive tonight? I don't think so!" She bared her teeth, and lunged for them both, her nails scratching out at James Potter.

James began to think about what type of dog they might want "I dunno" James replied not really sure "I guess we could get one from the pound, I hear they tend to be the most loyal" James said remembering something his Aunt Hermione had told him ages ago. "Something not too big but not too small" James said pondering the idea as he pressed his head closer to her and smile "Anything you have in mind" James saw someone walking up but ignored them until they spoke. She seemed to know who they were but that was not too unexpected until she asked if they would survive the night. Before James could say anything she lunged at the pair, James began fighting her off as he pushed her away from both himself and his wife. Pulling out his wand James looked at the odd woman "What's the meaning of this?" he asked as a little bit of blood trickled down his cheek from her scratches.

James wondered if the woman might have rabies or some other muggle disease that caused people to loose their minds and start attacking without regards however he also knew that she had specifically came for them or perhaps it was simply bad timing for them and good timing for her. James didn't know the answer however he did know that he didn't want Kiera to be involved if things began to turn into something more dangerous "Kiera, go home" James said not looking at his wife and instead looking only at the woman in front of them. James didn't want to take the chance of this becoming another Bleak Street episode and now that Kiera was pregnant it was even more important to keep her away from any danger. "I'll handle this" James said to his wife hoping that she would understand the importance of leaving.

Cordelia quickly took a step back and glared at the pair of them. She had expected a fight, yet his voice remained calmer than many of her victims. "You'll soon find out the meaning of it, James!" She knew exactly who this man was. His father was the famous Harry Potter, and she only wished that she would be the one to rip his head off, only because his father was the one that destroyed the Dark Lord. Cordelia knew to stay calmer than she would have liked, and so she pointed her wand at the couple, prepared to only stun and knock out, instead of kill....

"Yes, precious Kiera go home.... go home....see what will be waiting for you.." She cackled with laughter, and took a few steps forward slashing out with her wand, crying out, "SECTUMPSEMPRA!" Cordelia hoped to maim him enough to where he would pass out and be unprepared to defend himself against Luxen. She needed to make sure that Leah would handle this task that was becoming simpler and simpler, so Lolita would reward her with anything that she desired.

Kiera stroked the back of her husband's hand as he spoke. She nodded her head, trying to think of a type of dog she might like. At her father's house, they had a black lab. It was a little too big for her to handle sometimes but she did love that dog. Kiera also believed that she would like a husky though it was pretty big as well. She was about to express those thoughts to James when she heard her name and her husband's name. The petite brunette turned to look at the woman who was speaking to her. There was a frown on her pretty face. Kiera gasp as the woman threatened their lives, lashing out a James with her nails, clawing at his face. Her honey eyes widened as she reached quickly for her wand. She held it out in front of her.

Kiera glanced at James as he told her to go home. Her hand went to her stomach, nervous about the baby. She couldn't hurt the child inside of her but she couldn't leave her husband alone. Who knew who else was waiting to ambush him? Kiera screamed as she watched the lady curse James. That was what made up her mind. She couldn't leave her love here alone. "No. I'm staying with you." she said, not moving from his side. She pointed her wand at the lady. "Expelliarmus!" she shouted, trying to keep her from harming her husband by disarming her. "Stupefy!" she said, throwing another spell at the woman.

Cordelia side stepped the spells easily as they were thrown at her in mass quantities. She allowed herself to cackle at the idiocy of these two magical beings. They were so determined not to die tonight, and yet the woman...Kiera was putting herself in the worse situation by staying and getting in the way. It was no matter however, she would crush them both and their bodies would be sprawled out upon the hardening ground waiting for none other than Leah Winters. Lolita would be proud.

"Foolish woman! Stupefy!" She called out, whipping her wand in front of her face and jabbing it at the lovely couple. "Confringo!"
