Christian was born to Thorine Dolohov at Carrow Hall in New Zealand. He is the son of Tristan Drage, who was drugged by Thorine with a love potion for an extended period of time. After Thorine’s death in a duel with Aurors, Christian was co-raised by Tristan, the Dolohov house-elf, Goia, and Nastasia, a Squib. Thorine returned to Carrow Hall as a ghost, but she was not the same. He did not build a strong relationship with his half-siblings, Vixen and Ivaylo Zhefarovich-Dolohov, as they lived with their respective side of the family.
Christian briefly attended Hogwarts New Zealand at the insistence of Goia and was sorted into Hufflepuff House. However, he did not handle this well and transferred to Ilvermorny after the first semester. In his pre-teen years, Christian decided to cut all ties with the Dolohov side of the family and lived with his father until he was an adult. He is tender-hearted by nature, and being raised as he was, he rejects the teachings of pure-blood supremacy that Thorine so badly wanted to instill in him.
Christian is married to a muggle-born witch, Teuila Faumuina. They live in Samoa and have three daughters- Tilly, a second-year Hufflepuff at Hogwarts New Zealand, Sefina, a seven-year old, and Natia, a newborn. Christian works as an author and activist. He writes under an alias to protect his identity as he does write about controversial subjects. He is fond of the arts and knows how to play the cello, although he hasn't played seriously in years.
In other circles, he goes by Christian Drage and has dropped Dolohov from his name, except for legal paperwork. He is scared of his Dolohov family members, including his mother’s ghost, and has worked hard to keep himself and his mixed-blood family at a distance from them.
Christian was very close to his eldest sister, Estrella, who passed away from a terminal illness in 2050, and his stepmother Julie, who passed away in 2051. He is close to Estrella's children, his father, his older brother, Erik, and his stepsister, Eliza. He is on good terms with his other Drage siblings.
