"Christa feels responsible for being a good role model but also struggles with the pressure of setting an example."​
• [Mother]: [Rebecca Langley] Christa's mother is a nature photographer and so she spent a lot of time travelling. Christa really admires the work both of her parents do, but takes on a lot of her mother's mannerisms and is the most like her in regards to her looks and her attitude. They're very close and it was her mum that spent most of the time homeschooling her and Sabrina. "Her mum is her biggest role model and source of comfort, especially as she navigates her new magical life."​
• [Father]: [Evan Langley] With her father working in conservation; specifically wildlife and natural habitats, she didn't see him as much as she saw her mother growing up. She loves him and she spends time with him when he's there for her to spend time with, but her mother is definitely her primary carer. She thinks his special hat is super cool. "Christa admires her dad's work but wishes she had more time with him growing up."​
