Somewhere between floors six and seven or was it six and five? Pride couldn't really tell anymore. She was had been in the inbetween for too long but it had been nessary for her to be there. It was in the passageways that one went from average student to black Sin. Pride had her hair done up so that the green tips of them where hidden while her clothes covered up any sign of who was under the mask. Some people could guess though. They knew her style. Pride had her mask on tight so that no one could take it off.

Funny what lengthiness she went to not to be recognized and yet the things she did where to draw nothing but attention to herself. Not that she needed to do such things. Things had gotten to the point that Pride could walk into a room and it would explode into conversation so that the teacher had to call order again. This was why Pride felt that she didn't get in as much trouble for not being in class that she thought anyone else would. It was either that or the fact that she could make most of the teachers laugh. Pride was in the inbetween practicing a little bit before Mischief day came around. Things had to be perfect or everything would fall.

"Huh."

The voice echoed across the dimly-lit walls, rebounding off the smooth, polished surfaces of the dark corridor. A tall, pale boy, nearly illuminated through his light skin color, stood poised against a wall as he stared down at the supposedly feminine figure with a slightly-amused expression. Raising his hand slowly, he adjusted a earring he wore and swept his dark hair back casually. "Funny how people find their way into the easier paths in life ... Sometimes, they're just here to pick up the spoils of war, though. This place has a history." The boy seemed to be talking to himself as he advanced slowly towards the girl, cocking his head as his handsome features were thrown into sharp relief once he stood close to her. Henric Lee gave her an artificial smile as he mused, "What say you? Interloper? Or Scavenger?"

Pride's eyes where hidden by vials over the eyes of her mask. For this she was grateful. There was nothing there to give her way now. Even if there was emotion on the person inside it wouldn't show. The mask of Pride stayed into the same frozen smug grin. "Of course if that's what you call the Inbetween." She said though the voice was distorted by a spell on the mask. Pride's body took on a tinker toy like feel. The movements where sharp and not quite human as she tilted her head from one side to another. "Interloper is a nice name. The Unholy Aspect of Pride would be another." She said slowly so the robotic drawl would take on a slightly painful feel.

Henric let out a booming laugh that ricocheted off the confines of the secret corridor; the pale boy folded his arms, his thoughts concealed as always as he allowed himself a smirk at her expense, his tempest-gray orbs glittering malevolently as he surveyed her with mixed interest. "Why so serious?" He purred, his voice mixed with malice and seduction, bordering on outright goading as he next asked coolly, "So, what's your name? There's three people in this school, at most, who'd speak to me like that."

Pride wound her right shoulder back with her hand on her chest then wound back with her other on her cold metallic cheek. "Enough to make a girl blush." She allowed the mask to make purr. "Most have heard by now that a teacher was involved in the last act of my little play. That alone took some joy of it. But worry not." She said while putting both her hand and her leg out with her head down like a ballerina. She swept her leg back while the rest of her body bent at the middle. "The show will go on." She ended then laughed metallicly. "As I said I am Pride. That is the only name that I will go by until you guess who dwells behind this mask." She said then aimed for the next exit out of the hidden corridor.

Henric watched the girl move with an eerie robotic grace and canted his head to the side, "Making a guess seems so haphazard. If you won't tell me, keep it to yourself." He gave her a smile that would cause any ordinary girl to start falling head over heels in utter confusion as they fought an internal war with their emotions. Lurching his body away from the wall that supported his weight, the boy gave the girl a little wave as he strode away from the scene with the careless air of someone who had nothing to lose.

The girl under the mask thought herself as extraordinary on a normal basis though she would never say it out loud. With the mask of black Pride on her face she thought of herself as nothing short of a goddess. That and she had gotten used to Henric Lee it seemed. "Fair enough young master." She said and walked off in the oppocet direction. A small prank had been left for him in his pocket through sheer slight of hand.

The pale boy tilted his head slightly as he felt a weight sagging in his pants pocket. He chuckled to himself as he slipped a hand into the depths of the cloth and felt the object there, mulling over how his senses had dulled whilst he made to pull the object out and investigate it in greater depth.
