Lorelai lay on the pavement, not minding how it rumpled her clothes. A rainbow of chalk was scattered around her as she drew a very intricate night sky. She liked making the stars and the moon and the planets. It was all very childish, of course, but Lorelai was only five after all. She had one of her adults nearby, reading a book while she drew. She hummed happily, covered in chalk as she worked.
