Scott received his first telescope when he was only six years old and has been fascinated with the stars and planets ever since. Being as clumsy as he was, he was on his second telescope. No matter how careful he was with it, he fell easily due to his baggy clothes. He carried his treasured telescope in a case in his arms and headed to an empty grass patch. It was nearing 7:30 pm and he was hoping to find a good spot to watch the close approach of the Moon and Jupiter at 8:02 pm. Scott had a standard pair of binoculars hanging from his neck.
