Isaia Romanes was not exactly feeling himself lately. He was feeling much happier, and he had to thank his girlfriend Aphrodite. She made him smile and laugh, and found himself enjoying the days of school even more because of her. It was nothing to be ashamed of, he could not help but be enamored with her. Everyone in the school that attended Quidditch and paid attention to the stands when he had asked Aphrodite to be his girlfriend in a very public way. Isaia could not help it, it was the only way he could even have the guts to do so. But for now, Isaia wanted a break and Aphrodite was no where around him, so he decided that he was going to chill with his book, and he was going to be lounging out in the student lounge. Isaia grabbed his favorite book from his trunk, and he threw on his sneakers. It was never too long before he left the Ravenclaw House, and he headed down toward the lounge. He thought about going to the Prefects common room, but he didn't bother wanting to go down that far. Granted it was two floors down, Isaia just did not want to go. Arriving to the lounge did not take him long, since Isaia was a fit walker, and he was a fit guy. He was the Beater for the Ravenclaw team, and he worked out his arms for that job too. The Prefect had much to do this year, including the OWLs.

The Ravenclaw Prefect made his way into the lounge where it was empty, and Isaia just let out a sigh because of how relieved he was that he could get some alone time. Even though he wanted to be with Aphrodite right now, he could not find her, so he had to adjust to being on his own. That shouldn't be that bad. After all, he was alone all of his first year, it isn't that bad. Isaia walked over with his book in his hand and he took a seat on the couch. The flames lit up the place, and he could see. Isaia flipped open the book, and he started to read as quietly as he could. it was the best that he could do for now, and he did not want to do anything hardcore today. Just sit back and read a good mystery book. It was helping him relax and get some of the stresses off of his mind. He had a lot to not think about, such as how Krystin was, ever since she discovered what she was, and then there was his uncle that made him scared too. Isaia feared the man, because he seemed desperate for something, and Isaia did not know what that was. Collineus was a scary man, and he had just gained his last name back. Isaia didn't know why that was, but he didn't care right now. He was just enjoying his good book, not paying attention to the rest of the world around him.

Athena had just finished turning her dorm room upside down. It was nearly the end of term and she had already begun packing, eager to go home and get away from her dreadful roommates. They weren't all dreadful, just one girl in particular, but the Slytherin girl would have rather not dealt with any of them. It was too bad that the school did not allow students to get individual rooms. If they did, she would have begged her father to get her one. Or at least, if she had to have a roommate, she wished she could choose who she wanted. She didn't want to dorm with part-beeps creatures, especially since she was pretty sure one was a thief. Athena could have sworn she had left her necklace on her book which was on the nightstand. She had been wearing it the night before and thought she took it off and placed it there. Hence why the room, at least her side, was a disaster. She glared at the other girls' areas wanting to turn those upside down as well.

Before she would start a confrontation, Athena had decided to retrace her steps. She had already checked the Great Hall and her Divination classroom to no avail. Where else, Athena?she said and then she took off quickly for the student lounge. Thankfully, the halls weren't crowded and she got there fast. Noticing that the room was empty except for one other, the girl began to check under the tables and chairs. She dropped on her knees to search under a sofa. Nothing. Moving towards the other occupant of the room, Athena glanced up. It was Isaia Romanes. His sister was in her house. She knew him from around, a Ravenclaw and pretty quiet except for his spectacle at the Quidditch match. She hadn't seen it but she heard about it. Everyone had. "Don't mind me. I just need to look under the sofa for something" she stated as she dropped to her knees once more. She reached her hand under as she spotted a glint. Pulling out the item, disappointment etched its way onto her face. It was just string.

The book could only tone his thoughts for a little while, before he ended up thinking of his girlfriend. It was pretty sad that he thought about her as much as he did. It could be said that he was in love, but he didn't think it was that strong though. It was stronger than a like, but not as strong as love. There should be a word for that, but one never came to the English dictionary. Isaia would make one up just for the two of them then. Isaia felt better than ever when he was around his girlfriend. There was nothing more than he wanted than to spend a lot of his time with her, even now. Isaia debated on getting up to go find her, but he wouldn't know where to start. What else could he do besides read? He could study, but he didn't want to do that. The OWLs were hectic enough as is, and he didn't want to get stressed out. OWLs did that to the Ravenclaw Prefect. He continued to flip through his book, his mind observing through the words.

It was not until his hazel eyes landed on a slightly younger girl enter the classroom. Isaia did not know her at all, but he would actually recognize her last name if he had known it. She was going to look under the sofa for something, and the Prefect lifted his legs so she could get a better look. Isaia wondered what she was looking for. She pulled something out from underneath the sofa, and he raised an eyebrow. It was about time that he had asked what she was looking for. Perhaps he could actually help. He closed his book after marking his page. "So, then, what are you looking for? Maybe I have seen it or could help out." Isaia set his book to the side, and he wondered how this girl would take his offer. He wouldn't mind helping out a younger student. As a Prefect, he was obliged to do so. For now, Isaia did not feel the need to ask for her for her name. All he was was that she was a fourth year, then again actually looking at her, she looked around his age. He dismissed that. Perhaps she knew Aphrodite though, could help him in finding her.

Frustration grew as Athena tried to search as quietly as possible because she didn't want to disturb the Ravenclaw who looked as if he was studying. That seemed to be all Ravenclaw students ever did. Her sister was like that, but thankfully she knew how to have fun too. The Slytherin noticed that he had lifted his legs to make her search easier, but still she said nothing to him. Every moment that she didn't find her necklace, Athena was growing more upset. She was trying hard not to panic but it was difficult. The necklace meant a lot to her since it was one of her favorites. She really wanted to tear the room apart but her good manners and the witness in the room prevented her from doing so.

Her hands moved like spiders under the sofa but there seemed to be nothing else, not even dust. Athena pulled her wand from her back pocket. She was going to try the summoning charm. She wasn't good enough to summon it from wherever it might be, but if it was in the room, her charm ought to be good enough. At least she hoped so. Still on her knees, the girl rose so that she was looking at Isaia. Her silver eyes stared for a moment, surprised that he would offer assistance. "Umm...It's a necklace" she began in her soft voice. Athena had never spoken to him before and she was usually shy around people she didn't know. He was a prefect though so perhaps he could help. "A star necklace" she added hopefully. She still had her wand at the ready, but waited to hear from the older boy whether he had seen it.

Isaia waited rather patiently for the Slytherin girl to answer him, and his offer of help. He almost doubted that she would accept his offer for help, but there was no point in not trying. He was a Prefect, and he was not prejudice at all against any house. He didn't have a right to be with one of his siblings in each one. It was concerning him that this girl was getting so upset, and he was not able to help. Even if he did want to get up to go talk to his girlfriend because he was just that much enamored with her. But his will to help was stronger, for the time being anyway. Isaia felt rather odd that she was looking under the couch while he was on it, so he hopped up. He backed a few inches from the Slytherin girl, and he heard that she was looking for a necklace. Wasn't they supposed to stay around someone's neck? He was not about to voice that. He'd probably irritate her. He frowned because he had not seen it, and he shook his head, "I'm sorry, but I haven't." Asking a boy weather or not he had seen a piece of jewelry, it was something else.

The Ravenclaw Prefect could not even name any sort of jewelry that his own girlfriend wears. It was a star necklace that the girl had lost, and Isaia was starting to feel bad. His hazel eyes looked down and noticed that she had her wand out. She was going to try to summon it? That would be cool if she could. That might be the only way to find it because Isaia had no idea. "Using a summoning charm should do it. If it is further from here, I could attempt to summon too. I don't think anyone should have to be troubled looking for an item that means something to them." It still felt so awkward for him to help her yet not even know her name. Isaia gave her an awkward smile before he introduced himself unaware that she already knew who he was, "Isaia Romanes, by the way." Isaia didn't really feel the need to say that he was a Ravenclaw Prefect. It felt like he was rubbing it into someone's face if he did. Besides, he always had his Ravenclaw Prefect badge somewhere on him, so that if he were to catch anyone doing any wrong, he would bust them.

Athena sighed, a frown crossing her face as she was unable to hide her disappointment. The chances of this guy knowing where her necklace was was slim, she knew. But it would have made things so much easier for her. She wasn't mad at him at all about it though. It wasn't her fault that she misplaced her favorite piece of jewelry. Athena nodded her head as he spoke about using a summoning charm because that was her plan. She let him finish, surprised once again that he was offering to help. Her family offered to help her all the time, but no one else really did. If it was in the room, she thought she might be able to summon it on her own. She wasn't at all confident of her ability to get something from further away though. Her silver eyes had already drifted away, ready to try the spell when Isaia spoke once more. Her silver eyes rose to meet his slowly, a small smile crossing her face. "I know" she replied. Turning her attention to her wand, the Slytherin raised it a bit. "Accio necklace" she stated as clearly and calmly as possible. The young woman waited in anticipation, but after several moments she realized it wasn't working.

Her shoulders slumped in defeat. So, the necklace wasn't in the room. "Oh well" she said quietly, trying not to let on how upset she was over losing that necklace. It was just a necklace after all and she knew it shouldn't upset her so much to lose it. It was only a material object after all. "Would you really give it a try?" she asked, biting her lip as she turned to him. Her silver eyes looked anxiously over at him, hoping his offer had been more than just out of courtesy.

Isaia frowned a little bit when she had, because he didn't know where her necklace was, and he didn't have a way to tell her anything. He only had his magical charms that would do the trick. However he was wanting to have her take care of it first, before jumping on the band wagon himself. Perhaps here in a few minutes he would. Isaia did not know too much about jewelry, that was a girl's thing, and he barely noticed much at all. When the girl said the spell, nothing happened. Even after several moments, there was nothing. That was kind of surprising, the girl had to be like, one year younger than him at the most. If her spell didn't work, then he was not too sure if his would be any better. Isaia held his wand in his hand though, just in case. Isaia could not tell if she was that expression she was holding was disappointment or not, but he couldn't read women at all. It was not like him. The Ravenclaw Prefect continued to wonder, but he agreed to help. Aphrodite could wait a few minutes anyway. She might be down practicing or something.

Thinking calming, he waved his wand and he intoned in a clear voice, "Accio necklace!" He had the description in his mind, so maybe it would come. However after a few moments passed, there was nothing. Perhaps he did not have enough thought or he did not have the description of it clear enough in his head? Isaia looked toward the Slytherin girl that he did not know the name of yet, before he let out a sigh, "I don't think I can help unless I knew what the necklace was. For all I know, there were a hundred necklaces that plopped at the door." He shrugged, before he sat back down on the couch that he was standing in front of. Maybe he should just get Aphrodite to come up here. "I'm sorry though. Ravenclaws, all books and wisdom, but sucks at charms, well what do you know," laughed Isaia as he joked. He knew his charms were up to par. He thought that he just didn't have enough of a description or a picture to summon it. He never, ever doubted his abilities.

Athena knew that her focus was off and that was probably affecting her spell. The same thing happened during class as well and she was always being told to focus. It was hard to do though. She always had so much going on in her mind. Crossing her arms across her chest, the blonde watched the Ravenclaw prefect as he attempted to get her necklace. She turned, half expecting to see it whiz into the room. When she didn't see it, she sighed. It was almost at the same time as the guy. She listened to what he had to say and nodded. He was right. Without a description, he was on a wild kneazle chase. As he sat down, Athena leaned against the arm of a chair. She didn't think it was him at all and was surprised to hear him put himself down. Athena would never do such a thing even if she was weak at something. She tried her best to hide her weaknesses so that others wouldn't see or know.

With a small shrug, Athena spoke quietly. "Thanks for trying." The Slytherin slid into the seat of the armchair slowly, her hand falling on the cushion and getting pinched by something. "Ow" she said sharply, reaching into the side of the cushion and pulling out her necklace. Now that it was in her hand, Athena recalled sitting in the chair reading over her dreadful history of magic notes when a large group of second year Hufflepuffs had entered the room carrying on loudly. Athena had fled the room. A broad smile crossed the Slytherin's face, her eyes brightening from the slate gray that they had become at her concern over her missing jewelry to their normal silver color. "My necklace!" she exclaimed as she held it up. "This is what it looks like" she continued as she opened the clasp. It looked like it had gotten dented a bit which was why it had probably fallen off. She put it around her neck, reaching behind her neck to try and fasten the clasp. She knew that she would have to remember to fix it later. She hoped that the reparo charm would be able to do the trick. Once she had it on, Athena wondered what she should do. She had already thanked Isaia and she didn't know him well enough to carry on a conversation with him. Athena didn't often carry on conversations with people she didn't know.

Isaia let out a sigh, and while he was normal with charms, if not above normal, he did not have enough of a description to summon it to then. It was not something that he wanted to deal with though, he didn't want to put himself down that much at all. Isaia was a pretty simply guy, and he got the book that he was reading before he set it in his lap. He debated on opening it and reading it, but he didn't think that it would be wise because he was there with someone that he had tried to help. Isaia nodded when she said thanks. He tried, so he had to get something for that, even though it was a complete and utter failure. Oh well, perhaps it would show up at some point, because it did matter to the girl. "No prob-" however his voice was stopped when she seemed like she got hurt. He raised an eyebrow and watched her carefully. What bit her? He patiently waited to see what happened, before she started to smile rather largely. That was a little weird to him because if he got hurt, he would not be smiling. However he could see something as she held it up, and it was her necklace. She found it in the cushions? Well, how lucky!

"Oh you found it, that looks rather nice too," Isaia said, though truth be told, he didn't know much about jewelry because he was a guy, so he didn't know what was pretty and what was not. She was really glad that she had found the necklace, and Isaia was too, because he didn't like it when others were upset. It bothered him to a point. She placed the necklace on herself, and Isaia looked down at his book before he let out a sigh. Things were getting awkward now. He didn't really know how to talk to any other girls other than Aphrodite, where things came out easily. This was tougher. Isaia decided that he would be best to at least get the girl's name, "I'm Isaia, by the way. What's your name?" It was better than nothing, because he didn't know her from his classes, so she was not in his year. Then again, he also did not know that she already knew his name thanks to his student that got him the girlfriend. He was simply being friendly, somewhat. It was almost easy to tell that Isaia was not in his comfort zone.

"Thank you" she stated plainly, the grin staying on her face. Athena was very pleased. She wasn't sure if he really did think it was nice because he was a guy. From what little she knew, the guys she knew cared little for jewelry. So, she wasn't sure what he really thought. She was really glad when he finally spoke again because it truly was getting awkward. She had even considered just stepping out of the room, but how weird would that have been. Athena's silver eyes looked at the older guy in amusement. She already knew his name, but he apparently didn't know hers. Her finger still playing with her chain, which was probably why she had lost it in the first place, Athena spoke. Her voice was soft as usual. "My name is Athena. Zhefarovich" she stated, her voice lapsing into her Bulgarian accent as she said her name.

Sitting around for another moment, Athena finally stood. She paused for a beat and then spoke again. "Well, I'm going to go. I...um...have to meet my cousin." That wasn't true at all, but he wouldn't know and who knew, perhaps she would run into Hades or Kaia or Kailie somewhere. Moving towards the door, Athena stopped and turned. "Thanks again" she said with a smile flitting quickly on and then off her face. The Slytherin opened the door to the lounge and left. Talk about awkward, she thought to herself, wondering if she would ever not be awkward around people she didn't know.
