Sadire Ting had been giving himself pep talk for the past few days. Nearly halfway through the semester, he had already realized that wizarding school was now getting harder and harder for him to keep up with. Sure, his written English was slowly getting better and better through practice. His oral English was... understandable he supposed though he still lacked the actual confidence to engage in everyday conversations. Though the time had come wherein he knew that he could no longer stay this way. He needed to talk to people, thus his current presence in the student lounge. The boy nearly gulped at the prospect of talking to a classmate to actually ask them to tutor him. He had ran a list in his head of whom he could ask help from from what he knew of them and he had managed to narrow his list down to one person. Lydia Archer. She seemed nice enough. He had been postponing asking her really, with Quidditch going on and all that. But now that he happened upon her in the Student Lounge there really was nothing more he could do. Steeling his nerves as best as he could, he approached his fellow Hufflepuff and cleared his throat when he was standing in front of her. "Can I... uh... Talk to you please?"

Lydia had retreated to the student lounge, though the young brunette spent most of her time within the library, helping her cousin and just reading the different books, but she'd decided to not do that, she had decided after spending a little of her day with him that she needed to do a little bit of work and do the work for the history class which she knew she was struggling a little more in, so that was why she found herself in the student lounge, sitting amongst the others of the room as she slowly did the work that she was trying to do. Lydia was feeling pretty sure she could manage it, certain that she'd do well in the class as long as she put this work in now. The girl looked up when someone in front of her cleared their throat and she smiled at him in a friendly manner, Sadire, she was sure his name was, he was a quiet person, but she didn't mind, she liked him despite not even knowing him that well, "Sure!" she said to him, motioning at the seat in front of her for him to sit down, she spoke in as friend a tone as she could manage hoping to not appear either too eager or too uninterested, "What do you need?"
