Isobel was in a sour mood. Her muggle dad had arrived over from England to see her before she went to HNZ. He had let her down and had been on business when she came over. She had had to come with her aunty and uncle and her hateful cousin. Trying to make it up to Isobel, her dad had come over as soon as he could. Isobel, being proud refused to let him know that she was pleased and instead put on a 'i don't care either way' attitude.
After saying goodbye to him, a few hours ago, and watching him get on a plane, she had gone back to her hotel room, to find her cousin Alice there with a bundle of fluff. It was a kitten and Alice's parents had sent it over with Isobel's dad. Isobel then decided that she wanted a kitten and watched with envy and annoyance as 'perfect' Alice played with it.
It was too much for her when the kitten was 'playing happily'. She stormed out of her hotel, and was walking around the streets. Before she knew it, she was in Brightstone Village. She was fed up with all the cheer and happiness going around. Watching a little kid enter a sweet shop on their own, she followed from a distance. As the child came out with a big bag of sweets, she sat down on a bench, wondering what he would do next. 'Surprise, surprise.' She thought to herself as he came over and sat next to her.
Thinking that he was being kind, he offered her the bag. Snatching the whole thing, she stood up and walked away, smirking as he burst into tears and ran away - probably to find an adult. 'Oh well,' She thought to herself, preparing her innocent look incase someone did arrive. She had a way with adults, she could get them to believe her easily and she knew the tricks. Moving to the corner of the street, she leant against a wall and peered inside the bag.
She gazed in wonder at the assortment of sweets. It had EVERYTHING. Every flavour beans, chocolate frogs, sugar quills, liquorice wands, cauldron cakes, jelly slugs, lollypops and wizarding candy. 'No wonder he was upset.' She thought, laughing at how much he had spent and then lost it from being kind. Kindness always ended up going wrong in Isobel's opinion.
Finding a nearby bench with not many people around, she opened up a chocolate frog and bit his head off.
