Kennedy Smile hated thinking about all the drama his family was going through. Klaus had left the house, JazzyMae was throwing temper tantrums and their mother had no idea how to handle it all. It was like he, JazzyMae and Klaus had all switched personalities. JazzyMae got his temper tantrums and Kennedy got Klaus' calm and observant personality. Klaus had start to harbor a hatred in his heart for him. Even without being around his twin he knew it. Kennedy had actually started to miss his brother. He thought it was strang that he did, but he did not want to hate Klaus anymore. It was so tiring hating someone you love so much. Kennedy loved his brother as a brother. Klaus had blow the definition of 'brotherly love' way out of preportion. His twin was always unpredictable.

Kennedy decided to break the silence between him and his brother. He decided to write Klaus a letter. It would not be a hard letter to write, but he was nervous about it. Nervousness was more of a Klaus thing, not a Kennedy thing.

Dear Klaus,

Hey, bro! How are you? I'm doing pretty good. You haven't checked in with Mom or anything, and it's really worrying her. You know when she's worried that she gives me less work, right? Klaus, you know full well that I need all the work I can get. Have you talked to JazzyMae? I suggest you do because I think there is a guy she is not telling us about. Also, she has been acting out lately. Just keep an eye out on her, okay? You can avoid me and Mom all you want, but please don't avoid our sister. She really needs someone to talk to. She needs to know that you, her other brother, has enough time on his hands to spend time with her.

I heard you are doing well in Divination. That's really good. If you get good enough grades then you can become a seer! You'd be the first one on the family. Wouldn't that be cool, Klaus? JazzyMae told me that you shaved your hair off too. We really are twins because I shaved mine off two weeks before JazzyMae said you did. It's strange how connected we are, huh? Mom really wants you back home, and so do I, Klaus. We are a family. We need to work out our problems together, right? You know what that means, bro. Mom can't stay in the dark forever, right?

Klaus Smile had never expected to receive a letter from his brother. Klaus had not even opened the letter when he got it. He just hid it under his pillow. After three days, Klaus had to open it. Why was Kennedy writing him? He was still very angry with his twin, but he had not talked to any of his family since he had started to stay with a friend of his. Klaus read the letter thoroughly. Most of it confused him. JazzyMae was throwing temper tantrums? Kennedy actually missed him? He felt like there had been major personality changes. Klaus had no idea JazzyMae had been acting out. As long as she was not getting in trouble with professors he was cool with whatever she did. Klaus decided to write back. Kennedy had no idea what he was talking about. Tell Mom about the Honeydukes drama? No. Absolutely not.

Kennedy,

I will watch out for JazzyMae. She has not gotten into trouble with any professors, so she must be doing okay for now. I don't think you really want to know how I am doing. I am sure you just wrote that for formalities. You think JazzyMae is interested in a guy? That could be possible. I will watch who she is hanging out with too. I also saw that she made the Quidditch team again, but this time she is a Chaser. I wonder how she will do in that position. She probably got the position because she bombed her try-out for Beater. I wonder what getting hit with a bludger feels like. Tell Mom that I am fine and to give you more work. I know how much you hate doing household chores. You are so lazy when it comes to cleaning. I am a cleaner than you, and that should hurt your pride at least a little.

Are you actually encouraging me to become a Seer? Last year, you wanted nothing to do with me! You were probably too busy with your girlfriend to even think about me, Kennedy. I don't want your encouragement because I don't need it. I don't want you to try and build me up after you broke my heart! I hate you for that, Kennedy. It make me angrier that you want to tell Mom about what happened at Honeydukes! Why all the sudden does she need to know? If she asks you what wrong with us then you lie. It is as simple as that, Kennedy. I agree we are a family, but every family has their secrets, right? I am not ready to tell Mom anything. I don't even want to tell her anything. I'm afraid she will hate me if I do.
