History​

Brittany is the quintessential wizard “valley girl”. She grew up in a large mansion in one of the wizarding communities of California. Her father was a successful businessman having landed several prominent investments to secure his fortune. Her mother was very pretty and held high-ranking positions in various charities. She has one older brother whom she would often bicker.

Her family life was sweet and fairly uncomplicated. She genuinely feels her parents love her even if they often are often absent due to prior obligations. She feels safe and secure knowing that they will support her in her future endeavors.

From a young age Brittany would socialize with her wealthy neighbors. She can still remember that day in the park when she first met Ollie. He was hanging off of the flying bars upside down with his shirt untucked showing off his cute little belly button which looks like a black hole into nothingness. it was love at first sight for Brittany.

Brittany and Ollie began dating formerly when they were 13 years old. Everyone at Ilvermory was talking about the way he asked her out. Ollie had enchanted a pair of doves to sing take-on-me as he picked her up, spun her around, and asked her to take him on. Everyone knew that they were perfect for each other. Afterall, when she zigged he zagged and when she tic-ed he toc-ed! They would parade about the campus everywhere with his arm around her shoulders as she discretely stole sniffs of his heroic musk.

Brittany honestly thought they were just going to get married as soon as they graduated. Nothing too fancy just a wedding in a magical recreation of the 1893 Chicago world fair where guests would be expected to dress in period-appropriate clothing. But these dreams were smashed! On their two and three-quarter anniversary, which Ollie didn't even seem to remember, he broke up with her in the school owlery of all places. She was a mess, mascara streaming down her face, her best gal pal Donna suggested she apply for a year abroad. She’d get some distance from Ollie and get to be exposed to boys with culture and class, unlike her current classmates.
