better than yours
Ryan walked through Brightstone quietly. It was the night here and there were few students about which was good news for him as he wasnt big on the teenagers in the higher years who thought that they were better than everyone else when he would soon show them that they actually were not. He took a quick route through a darker part of the street,he didnt care if it looked less than welcoming. He had been in worse places before.
As he walked he saw two young kids fighting. a boy and a girl. As the girl was obviously winning he observed the fight and deciuded to voice his opinion. "You know you should go for the throat. Boys are more sensitive there. Or if you really want to cause pain then give him a hard boot between his legs." Ryan said looking down at the wimpy boy. He was glad that he didnt have a son or family member like that. It would be an embarrassment to him.

Melanie backhanded the boy that had bad mouthed her and was about to yell at him some more when a random man started giving her tips. The other boy looked slightly scared. "Hmmm, I think I'll try that actually." She grabbed the guy by the throat and shoved her boot into his crotch, smirking happily when he crumbled against the wall. "Thanks dude." She liked this guy, who ever he was. "Who are you?" She paid no attention to the older boy who was now slowly limping away from her and the new man. The new guy was obviously cool, maybe he could teach her things.

Ryan laughed as he watched the girl do as he had suggested, and rather well if he said so. Ryan looked at the boy hunched against the wall, Ryan didnt even want to imagine what pain he was probably in. "Im Ryan. What did that boy do exactly if thats not me being nosey. Who are you then?" He asked wondering who this little girl who showed obvious potential was. He wondered if he could train her up and gain her trust. After all the younger one were easy to persuade in the right direction with a slight push on someone elses part

Melanie frowned. "He said I was pathetic and couldn't place a hand on him if I wanted to." She smirked and crossed her arms, proud of herself. "He was obviously wrong. I'm Melanie. Thanks for the tips Ryan." Melanie un-crossed her arms and smoothed down her tattered blue dress. It came down to her shins, just above where her shoes began. Her mother didn't give her nice things, apparently she wasn't worth them. Melanie and her mother really didn't get along, she was only still around because it was a good starting topic for people.

Ryan nodded as the little girl introduced herself. He noted her dress that looked like it had definitely seen better days. "Is that dress your style or is it just really old?" He asked her curiously as he looked at the holes and weathered fabric. He would never let his kid go out looking like that if he had one. It would just be disrespectful and send off all the wrong signals. "Yes it seems that he was very wrong indeed to say that. Obviously he will get the mick ripped out of him in school for being beaten up by a younger girl." Ryan new that he would have take the p!ss out of him back in school if he had heard about it

Melanie huffed. "Just because I have hand me downs doesn't mean you can take the p!ss as well." She pouted at him, glaring at the same time somehow. Normally she would've threatened him but, seeing as he had just had to give her advice on the most painful method, she thought it would be unwise. "I don't care. I got him back and taught him a lesson he won't forget. My work here is done."

Ryan raised his eye brows as he observed the girls reaction to his words. She may have had a spark to her that he liked and saw potential in but she did have the attitude that he would have expected from a little girl. He held in a laugh. "I wasnt taking the mick, only asking a question." He said calmly. Ryan had never had hand me down in his life, he had been given what ever clothes he wanted and he was always dressed perfectly in expensive clothes. "True but then again the boy may have a gang that may want to get you back. My word of advise is to keep your wits about you young lady. I know what some boy in school can be like." He said thinking about how he used to be in school. Anyone thought about hitting him they would be in the hospital wing because they could say sorry
