The crisp air played around Solenn hair as she passed by the windy alley, for today she decided to take a day off from work. She mostly spent her morning inside a pretty little coffee shop she saw yesterday, the aroma of the coffee were delightful that she couldn't resist to return the next day. As for the afternoon, she spent her time inside her penthouse. Enjoying the scenery and taking a day off from work's totally worth it. She had time to just relax her mind and think of the good times she spent back in Dublin with her friends, during their vacation. She somehow missed travelling and all this work made her tired during night time. Solenn used to have a night life, partying and having fun. It isn't to late to do so, after all she's still young and she can do whatever she wishes. Quickly, she changed into her simple yet casual clothes, whatever she found in her closet and decided to go outside. Entering inside some unknown bars, yet nothing seems to fit in just like before. The bars in New Zealand are no match from the bars she used to go to. Pity. The lovely brunette left the bars early and decided to have a short stroll around the nearest park she saw. Some part of her surely miss home, but this is her life now, being a shopkeeper and attending to the peoples needs. And yet why isn't she happy? Solenn wondered and thought, she didn't want to stay here or stay like this for the rest of her life. It seems so boring, so not her to grow old in an old shop. She's still young, she can travel if she wants to but with her father and mother's dilemma, she couldn't figure out how. Solenn could always return back home and face her father, but that isn't her. The Solenn now is different from what she's like, and she could never turn her back from her promise.

Along the corner, Solenn saw two children playing. Most likely twins from the looks of it, they looked so happy as their mother and father approached them. She felt envy, while watching the family leave the park. How she longed to have such happiness, the kind of happiness that keeps you strong and endure your problems, the reason you wake up. It only hit her now that she's alone, sure she had real friends here and there that sometimes visits the shop but having someone to be with is special. No, she's never hurrying relationships or love, it takes time and she knows that but lately Solenn's been longing for someone to spend her days, someone who could lift her through her saddest days. Standing alone, she continued to walk across the park and just wander off, think, daydream and more thinking. There was something subtle and dazzling about tonight, that made her want to stay outside. Just tonight she wants to stood there and watch the blanket of stars above her. Sadly, she didn't bring any sweater and all she could feel is the cold breeze tickling her skin. "Still a perfect night." she mused while leaning on a wide tree not far from the park. Adoring the stars, the weather and absolutely enjoying her time, she didn't want it to end. As tomorrow she'll return to her job and face the day with a big wide smile, returning back to her routine life seems a bore. Hopefully is her saving is complete by next week she could take a vacation away from her job, even just for a couple of days will do.

Though in his early twenties, the young man was still getting adjusted to life outside of school. He still didn't have a permanent type job. He worked when he was needed at the small bar in the small town of Toulon in the south of France. There, things were simple. He woke up every morning, and just had a good day. The sun would shine more and more as the days grew brighter. Getting ever so slightly longer. Taking longer for that sun to set. His apartment, his new and bigger apartment was west facing, and high enough so that each and every evening the bright setting sun would stream in the windows, warm his balcony. Giving him the ability to enjoy a cold beer with his feet up staring up at the darkening sky. He would open a muggle book, a classic and read until he either fell asleep or grew hungry. All in all, life was pretty simple for him currently. It was definitely heading up for him. His sister whom he loved dearly, was still not feeling great. That was the only downside. It was the only reason that he hadn't found a better paying job. He still didn't want to move to New Zealand, the move was too big and he was to use to the French way of life. He was fluent in the language, so much so he often forgot the english. All in all, staring at the stars from the French Riviera was a lot nicer than the inner cities of New Zealand. That being said however, this was a week of holiday for the blond and he had made the trip. He was New Zealand, like he was with a lot of his time off. When he wasn't in work, he spent most of his time with his dear sister in New Zealand, the time he spent with her was often short lived, as his parents would get frustrated at him. At the fact that many of his words had lost the American accent they had once had. The fact he spent too little time with his clearly dying sister. The way he always smelled a little like alcohol. The way he ruining his life, and not following the religion he had been brought up on. All in all, there were too many reasons why Isaac struggled to spend time with the sister he loved dearly. His parents rarely listened to him, and he had stopped asking a long while before, when they would neither allow her to be seen by a magical doctor or at least a French one.

During his time in New Zealand, the young man usually ended up going to the magical areas. Mostly as he had little time to do so in France. And he much preferred what New Zealand had to offer in that respect. He enjoyed it more when he wasn't rushed, or had to travel to Marseille. He knew too many people there. Too many muggle people, who would more than likely see him. It was a large city, but Isaac knew more people than he'd care to mention. He wandered the magical town in New Zealand, with no real objective, just walking. It was getting pretty late, and unlike on most other nights, he didn't have the usual buzz feeling, where he wasn't drunk, but he also wasn't sober. A nice little feeling. It didn't bother him however. He was very happy to just be walking down the street, with his dark trousers, and dark grey t-shirt. The usual clothes that he had, but he was glad to just sort of blend in with his surroundings. He was walking a lot slower than he would normally, letting his eyes wander around the area he was in, letting him enjoy the moment. Letting his eyes take in the sights, the flickering lights from home windows, the slowly rising moon in the distance casting a very slight silverish light upon everything,as the sun cast the last of it's bright warming sunshine. Isaac had a lot of harsh feelings towards this small southern nation, but he had to admit it was more stunning than a lot of places he had been to. It was very simply classically beautiful. The rolling hills, the huge, deep and dark green forests. The large lakes reflecting the peace of the day. Smiling to himself, the American born was left not paying attention to his own walking, which easily explained why when he near the kids park in Brightstone Village, he misjudged the space between two stones on his path, and like a man who was unaware of his own body mass, flailed as he fell to the floor. The motion caused the wind to race of out of him. He was left feeling like he had crushed most of his ribs. Though, it was at least good for bringing him out of his slight trance. He rolled over onto his back. However rather than getting back up, he stayed lying upon the floor, dark golden eyes staring blankly up at the sky. He thought in that moment that he could see beyond the stars that were all the way above him.

All through history, there had been great partnerships, friendships that seemed to define an age, like.. like.. well, the specific people weren't really important. What was important was that such partnerships existed. There was a precedent. Such things should be striven for, and, above all else, respected. At any rate, sometimes when Solenn was bored, or wanted to do something away from prying eyes, she would find a private spot for her to just think about everything. It's been years since the last time she saw her parents, it was years ago when she left home and decided to settle down. She lived alone all these years and now she wondered if it would stay this way. If there's still a chance that she could rekindle the flame that was once gone, perhaps return back to her family. The Great Perhaps would always enter her mind, the what if and all the regretting would return. She hated the feeling of being alone, just the feeling, not physically but perhaps emotionally. The idea of being alone and growing old alone, worried the brunette. Still she managed to shrug the idea off her head and continued to gaze at the start above her. For once she wanted to forget the stressful life she left and chose to live a new one, to start over. From all her star gazing, she noticed an old familiar face. "Isaac!" she called out loud, loud enough for anyone to hear. Such a pleasant surprise to see him hear, since it's been weeks since the last time she saw him. Solenn didn't know what to say really, she remained glued to her seat. She could approahc him but if felt so awkward and unladylike like to do so. Instead she waved her hand and smile, hoping the man would approach her.

The shopkeeper took a deep breath. Inhale and exhale all the negativity she mentally tried to calm herself. Thankfully, the sounds of the wind against the trees and the chirping birds soothed her. For the past months she haven't gained much friends, perhaps a few names she could scribble out right now. One of them being Isaac, or so she thought that they're friends. She included her on the list, since it's been twice, this making their meeting thrice seeing him. Solenn didn't knew much about him but all she did know is that he seems to have really love his sister. Somehow she envied him for having a sister and sometimes she felt blessed to be an only child. Every now and then she would find herself arguing alone, if it was better off like this. No sibling, no parents, no one to turn to. When she couldn't take the silence anymore, Solenn decided to walk a few steps and approach Isaac. "Long time to no see." she mused as she catch up with the man. Although she would never admit to it, she found him entrancing. How his appearance was so misleading. There was something about him that she really adored, his kindness and care for others. Something that would make her seem like she was not sitting in a tree daydreaming about what it would be like to actually have a conversation with Isaac. Solenn attempted to swing her wavy, brunette hair like all the beautiful women in the movies manage to do. Just out of the fun of it, nothing flirtatious to think about.

Rolling himself off of the floor, Isaac continued his slow walk down the street. He came close to the park, and he was oddly taken by the way the park stood silently in this much darker light. He had never been a huge fan of the parks as a child, and his sister had. He wondered that if she was still a happy and healthy young woman if she would love the park as much as he remembered from when she was young, and Isaac had taken her there during the holidays he spent home from Beauxbatons. He felt bad most of the time because he hadn't bothered with her before. She had been that little sister he had really wanted nothing to do with because she was annoying. But, as both he and her grew this had changed. Isaac had just become distant from his parents and because of that, with her. Now, he knew he probably had little time with her, so he felt like all those years he had no gone home were just him ignoring her. Now, that she was sick he was finally going back. As if it was really just him feeling bad. Isaac had always loved his sister, and he would always love her, but it wasn't at all that it was only because she had fallen sick that he spent any time with her at all. His parents had just always been in the way, and so he had lost interested in them. Why he had begged them to send her to Beauxbatons with him. Where he could protect her, and be her strong big brother who would make sure no harm ever came to her. He had been unsuccessful, and now look at it. His sister was in a hospital bed, fighting for her life, and he was fluent in French, and English, with a steady job, good home and all the friends he needed. It just seemed unfair to him. It was true that if someone proposed that they could switch places. Isaac wouldn't hesitate. It was his baby sister after all. As his thoughts faded, he heard the faint noise of someone calling his name. He looked round, and sitting on a bench was an old familiar face. "Solenn!" He called back, walking towards the woman that he really enjoyed the company of. She was beautiful, polite and graceful. She was strong independent and he admired that.

Walking over to her, he found his smile grew. It had been a long time. He considered Solenn a friend, despite the rarity of their meetings. He only saw her every so often, and he was sort of always hoping for more. While a lot of girls came into Isaac's life, he had never really imagined that any of them would actually be someone he would actually want to spend time with. Well, extended time with. Solenn was different, somehow whenever he was with her, he always got the idea in his brain that they could work. It was silly. He doubted that Solenn thought the same way, so he wasn't exactly going to think too much about it. He didn't need to. "How have you been?" He asked, since they had not seen each other in a while, and he was geninuely curious. His sister had loved the dress, and he would be sure to get more at some later date. "And the store is still going strong?" He gave a small nod, as if in the directions of the stores knowing that the store that Solenn worked at was not there.
