Bellamy is a shy kid who constantly feels like he takes up more space than he needs and is never sure what to do about it. He prefers solitary activities like reading comics or playing video game that can take him outside of himself and to places much cool than the farm he grew up on. Growing up isolated and mostly just around family has left him unsure of himself and how most kids are supposed to act. He tends to like what he likes and stick with that, rarely going outside of his comfort zone unless someone asks nicely. But he is kind to people and especially animals and will go above and beyond to take care of them, especially the freshly hatched ducks and his dog.

Bellamy's mothers did not like each other at first. They met through mutual friends at a party in Amsterdam and thought they would never see each other again. But fate kept bringing the back to each other and eventually their feelings began to change. When Aurora retired from quidditch career she moved back to her home country of Ireland to be closer to her family and Celeste followed. Celeste had been raised by a single mother who has passed away a few years prior and didn't have any other family she was close to so the move was an easy choice to make. There they built up a small potion shop and got married. Eventually Aurora's parents needed help and they decided to move to the Parish family farm and to start a family of their own.
Their son was born shortly after and was raised on the farm around animals and nature, while making frequent trips into the city to maintain the shop that had managed to do quite well for itself. Bellamy grew up speaking French, Irish, and English around the house and would constantly get them confused when speaking and would jumble them up. When it came time for him to go to school they decided Beauxbatons would be the best place for him. French was always his weakest language and he wasn't thrilled by the decision but so far he has survived.
