Bat Like Ears

Elijah Tine was very excited to have arrived at Hogwarts. It was his first day and classes would be starting soon, but Eli wasn't too bothered about that, he wanted to make the most of his time at Hogwarts. This meant that he wanted to explore every part of the school. Do everything imaginable. Do some pretty impossible things but still doable. For this Elijah was spending her first day exploring. He had had some breakfast, and was looking for the place to explore. There was so much. Elijah was wearing a Linkin Park t-shirt, which was black with the LP sign on the front. He was also wearing a pair of blue jeans. He was wearing his favourite pair of converses. He was ready to explore. He decided that the lake would be best.

As Elijah stepped out the school doors and onto the grounds. A song came into his head. He listened to the song, and realised that it was Welcome to World by Kevin Rudolf. It was quite an appropriate song. It was like a welcome from school. He quickly began to walk in beat with the song. Which meant that Elijah was swaggering. This didn't last too long as Eli had begun dancing while walking. He did a few cartwheels on the grass. He was paying so much attention to the song that Eli soon was not aware of where he was going. This happened often. He would get very into his music to the point where he would forget what he was doing, where he was, and why. Most would argue that this behaviour was very strange but Eli thought it was perfectly normal for a person to do this kind of thing. Elijah maybe however should've paid more attention to the lake he was heading towards. His feet touched water and it was then he began to realise but it was too late.

Splash! Elijah fell into the water. He had tripped up his own feet and sent himself into the water. The water was quite chillingly cold. He stayed silent and heard someone at the bank of the lake laughing. He pushed himself up to sitting up. Strangely he too began to laughing. How often could Elijah say that he danced himself into a lake while listening to his own personal playlist within his mind. Eli got to his feet and rubbed the water away from his eyes though his arm was just as wet.

"Hi. I don't fall into lakes often if you're wondering." Elijah said with a smile while walking out the lake and towards the person he now saw was a girl.
